I couldn't get this to work for me but that free trim tip is a life saver! Procreate dreams is disappointing at the moment. I'm really hoping some big updates come in soon. Dragging it over just imported a single frame, no animation. Importing a png sequence messed up the order and importing the procreate file was the closest it got to working but still too buggy and clunky to use
The best way I discovered how to do this is if you have a png sequence import up to 125 images into procreate first turn on animation assist and save the file then drag it into procreate dreams. I believe procreate dreams can import how you said but probably not with big animation sequences .
Yes. I tried multiple times the other day and it worked but it seems to be messed up for PNG Sequences. Probably a bug. It still works with Procreate animation files though
@@Savonnedraws it's so many artist and they all say it takes hundreds of thousands of frames to do a full project. So why don't more work together and how are some ways you seeing that they could
@@m.j.mcintear793 some people work together, but many people try to do it themself. I think it’s just a matter of meeting other animators and following the way professionals do it by giving out tasks. AI might help in the future too.
@@Savonnedraws I for one love doing learning and redoing everything myself but it’s not because I want to. It’s because I’ve been burned in the past and it’s hard getting people on the same page beforehand. I valued beforehand but realized not everyone does. Some need to see you already made it big in order for them to even want to come claim half the entire work just to help it get one level further. Some people are just sad destroyers but in this age of DAO I hope to see more in the art story and game creating community work together on a new project. Looking forward to see when people realize to outdo AI you must create faster. Ai gives the best advice. It was fast and not perfect but got better over time. If only we as a community could truly understand that

You can also drag and drop layers from Procreate and they will import as frames in order. You can check out my tutorial to see how.

I think it has been somewhat fixed. Try to drag your pngs to the stage in side by side view. Make sure to not click import or drag onto the timeline.

Sir can we import gif in Procreate dreams and what is the limit for importing gif?
No GIF import yet. You can export GIFS but not with a transparent background from what I remember
