Honestly - this was really insightful and I loved hearing your thoughts. You were really reasonable and people are so quick to trash on Mejuri without taking the time to think about the logistics you brought up. I’ve been recently getting into buying solid gold/diamond jewelry myself and I never feel bad because it’s something I know will last me forever. Looking forward to seeing any new pieces you pick up Jenny and will probably buy a Mejuri piece from your link too 😁
thank you so much! yes... lately people are so quick to cancel brands w/o forgetting what a business entails. of course they have to make a profit but from what i saw in the jewelry/diamond district.. the prices are very reasonable!
@@xojennydey for sure! I’ve also shopped around from independent/local jewellers and as a Canadian myself, I came to the exact same opinion as you Jenny. If the design is already there from Mejuri - and I literally can receive it within a day… I’d say the price is really reasonable for solid 14k
I got a digital body wave perm and I love it! It gives my hair body and texture. I get a really loose wave. The only con is that I can’t highlight my hair or it will fry when it gets permed and my hair does tangle more especially when I wear collared shirts and the waves fall out after 5 months because my hair is so long. I go to Junya Sakurai in Honolulu. After tax and tip it costs like $300. I get it done twice a year. Mei at M-irror salon in Honolulu is good too but she will not do it if she doesn’t think your hair is healthy enough. She made me wait a year because she said I still had leftover highlights in my hair
This was a very informative video. I'm a big fan of Mejuri. I purchased my 1st 14k pieces from Mejuri back in 2018 and I've been obsessed ever since. I didn't have the best experience with the vermeil pieces, so I stick to 14k. My collection has grown a lot over the last 2 years. I watched a video a few months ago that helped me realize that mejuri isn't the end all be all for jewelry. I've branched out to other brands and I've started to do more research before making another jewelry purchase. I know that I'm not someone that will be going into jewelry store all of the time, but I've found other places that I would look at before going ahead with another purchase like XIV karats and Quince. I've noticed that a lot of the prices have went up recently. The diamond eternity band is now priced by ring size. At my size this ring would cost me $1500, but last year it was less than $900 when I purchased. I still love mejuri, but if I could start all over again with my collection I would have done more research on the pricing of diamond pieces in particular. I would also love to find a local jeweler. I agree that the diamond pieces are priced pretty high, and I would still purchase stacking rings and dainty chain bracelets/necklaces. I would also recommend purchasing during the black friday sale. I was able to get the serpentine bracelet and pave diamond necklace for around $240 each during the sale.
I agree mejuri is great. I get pieces from a variety of vendors and you should be going to different vendors for different type of pieces. But for basics it’s worth it and for this dainty pieces. I mean if people saw the prices of Maria tash for earings and I can get a similar piece at mejuri for much cheaper I’m going with them. But for more unique stuff I will pay the price for a Maria tash.
Your video was great and mono toned. I could tell the difference between this one and your others, and it wasn’t as lively as you would normally record your videos. It’ll be a change to see the other route you’re wanting to go. Have you thought about going to Khmer jewelry store? They have the unique one of a kind pieces. I do too prefer 14k, it suits our tanned skin better. I think the Korean perm would look great on you. The waves look very natural.
I can’t wait for your health videos Jenny they will be so motivating. You should get the perm I think it will look great :)
thank you so much! i'm still contemplating bc it's so expensive
Excited for the health and fitness videos🤍 & love the insight on jewellery☺️
thank you! first ep will be up on sunday

question, is your diamond necklace in a bezel or just prongs? Can’t really tell. Sorry if you mentioned it during the video but I probably missed it 😅
bezel, no prongs
I think you would look great with a perm and would love to see the vlog.
thank you! i think i should make it my next reward lol

Hi jenni, could you plz link the necklace you are wearing? thankyou so much x
it's a custom but you can find similar!
Yes! Perm video please
I have some mejuri pieces but I feel like they definitely got more expensive
the gold vermille had a price increase but i think the 14k is reasonable
I loved Atomic Habits. I also made my bf listen to the audiobook and he thought it was beneficial.
