I wish that the sewing mechanic wasn't just a flat rng chance. Something that included partial progress would be nice; I always feel ripped off if I spend 59 minutes sewing and then stop because its too dark and somehow got nothing done.
same here - it's one of the only real "immersion breakers" I take issue with in the game. I don't think even someone who has never mended clothing in their life is incompetent enough to destroy an entire scrap of cloth "failing" to mend something. Just let my percentage increase suck for awhile until I get good. Or give me a feat I can earn to spawn in with max mending skill 😂
In terms of warmth, the same as thin wool, so tied for best in slot. It is slightly heavier for more wind resistance and durability but less water proof. I would day it's better because its cooler and you need to repair it less, saving cloth overtime
