- I have used Magoosh for over 9 months and I thought I would make this video so that it helps students to prepare for GRE.

Hi Amu, it honestly varies from person to person. Based on your english, vocab and math knowledge the preparation time may be more or less. The materials you mentioned are good, add Gregmat + to that for verbal. You can decide based on your capabilities how much time you need

Hi Kiran, I'm retaking my GRE in about 3 months and I've purchased Magoosh as well as Gregmat. Just wanted to know whether the 3 month beginner or advanced plan from Magoosh would be more appropriate for my prep? Also, I'm also gonna study verbal from Gregmat. Hope that's enough

What happens with the expiration date when you pause the account? So if my account gets expired by July but i paused it for a month, then will the account expire in August?

hey kiran, I found from others that in magoosh quant section the easy and medium questions are good. However, the hard and very hard are not styled the way GRE tests. and they are not relevant the actual GRE exam. They tend to induce confusion and can lead you to prepare inadequately for the real test. is this really true?
Hi Humayoun, I don't think that is very accurate. The tips and the lessons I got from solving hard and very hard were really helpful in GRE. No one can replicate your GRE test in any way, so it is better to learn things and apply it over there. Magoosh is good for quant.
@@KiranKumarYT great! i am focousing the easy, medium and hard ones. Should i exclude very hard ones. because my test is very near. does it will be sufficient to score in quant around 160 to 162?
hey Kiran a very great analysis video. If buying Magoosh Premium 2nd hand account from an Unknown seller , what pre-requisite check , precautions can we take to ensure we do not get cheated ? Would it be ok to buy from Unknown person ?
Hey Sankalp, buying a second hand subscription is always risky.
I have never done it, so I’m afraid I won’t be able to help you with it.
However, I would recommend you to post your query on Quora or Reddit, I’m pretty sure people there will definitely you. :)

What about Manhattan and Jamboore which one is best. And, what about its comparison with mangoosh
Manhattan is bit more expensive and the verbal is not that great.
I personally haven’t tried Jamboore.
I would say Magoosh is a good value for money 😇 you can try that!

Jamboree is really expensive 32-40k. its better to use magoosh

You will get Magoosh mocks. For other test prep mock you need to purchase them

Hi Kiran, it’s so nice to finally have someone talking about real stuff around the exam and not intimidating the hell out of an aspirant.
I wish to take the GRE in a month or two and have started preparing last week. I am so demotivated to keep studying as I get so many questions wrong both in verbal and quant. Honestly, quant is something I dread and start crying over each day. Need you to please help me understand how do I set a study plan for the next 2 months to get a good score ? Requesting you for some director here! Thanks

hHw much time period would you recommend for preparation if you're giving GRE for the first time?
P.S. I will need to put in more effort for Math.
It varies from person to person, Ideally 3-4 months.

i am doing quant - magoosh
verbal 4 hours a day - gregmay+
writing -- not started yet
gregmat+ is kind of very hectic it takes time to do quant + verbal from 2 months plan it will take 8 hours a day so i am doing it from magoosh.... bro..is this a good plan or i should also stick to magoosh for verbal also

Good Akshay, You can make your own plan. But Gregmat strategies are great for verbal. Please follow his strategies and see if they work for you. All the best
