Sure it does!! Since the car is no longer running, no miles are being put on it. ZERO stress on the motor and trans. Who knows how long those tires will last, there's zero tread wear. Put it up on blocks, cover it, and in the right environment it'll still be ok in 40 to 50 years. So yeah, it'll last A LOT longer!!! 😁
Would the tank have exploded if the cap hadn't have been put back on? Was it an expanding gas issue? Was there no way for the gas to escape but to burst the seam?
@@bobsterclause342 it froze the seam seal on the tank to the point it was so brittle it just broke and the tank separated where it was bonded together. no explosion.
@@roughnec12I didn’t think of that. I assumed the gas container became too frozen to hang on or something, but no too much pressure makes more sense. How did it even start though, unless that was video editing. Gas is used because it flammable under pressure which the pistons in the engines provide. As far as I know liquid nitrogen isn’t flammable at all.
Everyone knows that nitrogen is inert and non-combustible (meaning it won't burn under any circumstances), so the car won't run on it. I bet if you replace the gas tank and fill it with actual car gas, it will run fine again.

Needs a pressurized tank and a converter unit to compress and regulate the nitrogen flow to the engine. You are close to it. Now find the information that will work for your car. A nitrogen tank is easy to find from a welding shop or place like that. Once that is done your almost ready and best of luck keep at it. 😊❤
Yes but as nitrogen was in the tank, basically he inerted the tank as nitrogen is not flammable but it evaporated therefore pushing the remaining fuel vapours in to the ignition system and that’s why the car could start only for a very short time. The tank had thermal shock from the cold temperature of the nitrogen. It’s evaporating temp is at -196 C -320 F
I think the only real reason the gastank would have exploded its bottom off like that was just due to pressurization from all the liquid nitrogen fumes.

Not a bad idea actually. Just need a fuel tank and engine capable of handling cryo liquid, and cryogenic insulation all the way. And some very good heat exchanging capacity of engine. The massive expansion as the N2 comes to room temp will produce enough power to drive the car.
