Let’s see who is listening to Taylor Swift trash 42 years from now. In 42 years from now I will still be listening to this.

  • @jimpoitevint2581

Taylor swift is nowhere near the class as Kim, never will be.

  • @johnrebel9539

Close your eyes and you have Rod Stewart

If you were alive back then, it was an absolutely perfect song. Hard to explain why it was so perfect. But it was.

It’s a great song that really works SO perfectly with her raspy, smoky voice…but I can’t stop looking and laughing at the drummer upstaging her the whole time in the back. He is like the Dad telling Dad jokes, just so into himself and unaware at the same time. Love it.

Her and Rod Stewart have nearly the same voice.

    Who is listening in

I can't even begin to explain the nostalgia and melancholy this song evokes. I was born at the end of the 80s but still feel such a connection to this time and sound.

  • @stevetaxpayer6664

I was 19 years old in 1981. I was living in my car that year. I can remember this song playing on the radio when I was driving around looking for a place to park for the night where I wouldn't be run off by some security guard or be spotted by a coworker or someone else I knew. It really was a great song, but needless to say, for me it brings back memories of a very difficult time.

So many great memory’s come back listening to this tune

A truly 80's sound. My 80's music catalog won't be completed without this song. It still one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing!

Unreal. Kimmy Carnes was something! What a song. Loved going thru high school in the 80's. Can you imagine Davis' grandson saying the song made her cool. Would be cool to me if Davis had been my Granny song or not. How pure is New York snow?!
