Those Girls are incredible and Whitney we don't need to say nothing, she's the voice, the queen.
This is why Whitney is The Voice! She was one of the last singer-singers. No fake, no pre-recorded live vocals, no nudity. Just the Voice
During Whitney's prime, her transition from chest voice to head voice was crazy. I can feel my hair standing up every time she does that. Cece's voice is so powerful and her vocal still well maintained.
Both of them make singing like chatting or telling story especially when singing gospel.

Whitney was a superstar when she met Cece and her brother BeBe and she (Whitney) sang background for their debut album. Even sang background on a live performance of theirs. Whitney was humbled enough to do that to help their careers. That’s one of the reasons she’s such a legend an icon. This performance was phenomenal so was their performance of Count On Me. We all know what was not in her prime vocals but when it came to live performances she was just amazing. She always gave it 100% and found a way to give us astonishing vocals.
This got me! Whitney was one of the very few singers that can make me cry.

Fun fact: Whitney actually was introduced to CeCe because someone on her team told her that there was a gospel singer that sounded like her. CeCe learned from singing with Whitney how to work her voice. In every performance she did with Whitney she stood toe to toe with her. And that’s hard to do with Prime Whitney being a Soprano and Prime CeCe was a lower voiced soprano

Oh, I miss this kind of music. You know... Songs with a message, songs about love, friendship, God (whether you're a Christian or not) or any other important subject. Nowadays, it's more common and "cool" to sing about sex, money and fame. Btw I love your accent, it sounds great :)

Whitney just sang her face off right before this a song called this day! Check that one out. Btw Whitney has been singing way longer then cece, but they have similar tones but skill levels are very different, no one could do what Whitney could do. She was a vocal juggernaut!!
Not necessarily, they’ve been singing for a while equally. CeCe had her first solo singing Fill My Cup around 6 or 7. Whitney was just famous worldwide before CeCe. But, CeCe had a growing fan base on TBN with BeBe around the late 70’s/early 80’s
Incorrect. CeCe has technically been singing longer than Whitney in city concerts and unprofessionally around the Detroit area (including professionally in choirs and background starting at 10). Her first church solo was at 8. Whitney just had a global audience sooner.
CeCe is skill is TOP NOTCH alongside Whitney.

Never mind the coffee with lemon Georgina, try water with slices of unwaxed lemons with chopped mint. Either hot water or iced water. I personally would not do the iced one before singing as that makes MY voice (at least) slightly croaky.
Whitney and cece came up at the sane time and where close friends neither influenced the other they was just around and influenced by the sane singers which resulted in similar singing styles

I don't think so. CeCe and her family have been singing forever and they all sing like that. CeCe sings so much like her older brother Marvin.
I think it’s pretty clear they fed off of each other and inspired each other.
They both are around the same age. I think in general their tone and style of singing is similar. Not so much that either influenced each other. It just that they both have families of extreme musical background that influenced who they are as vocalist.

AURI is a band composed of Finnish keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, his wife, Finnish vocalist and violinist Johanna Kurkela and English multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Troy Donockley. Holopainen and Donockley are also members of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. They describe their music as celestial metal, with influences from folk music, Celtic music and soundtracks. These kind of music & singing just arent for white people. Im sorry… its just not. We dont know how they did it, we cant fully appreciate them the way they deserved to be…. Amazing straight up soul gospel singing …. Those runs cant be duplicated, i mean yes we can break them down and replicate them but it wouldnt sound right, it would sound like christina aguilera. oversings , trying to fit all those notes while straining the top end of ur high register is just not cute. Like at all. Like stop.
