a sub 2'30 may be possible but i'm calling it here for now. below are some notes for anyone who wants to get that sub 2'30:
this stupid dheart stormsoul adrenaline set is more consistent damage wise as blood awakening's uptime doesn't align too well with my script. blood awakening berserk sets do similar damage at max buff though. this set only loses some damage on the first 2 spirals before strife kicks in.
i miss some spiral ticks on the start which makes my mount slower. i also get blocked by the ledge on the first dfr which is meant to break head and flinch him for my second dfr. i also get super lucky that the body slam doesn't hit me but that was actually beneficial since i get in extra damage before mount.
i get white numbers on the second spiral on super morb transformation because i suck.
a blood awakening berserk set with intrepid heart can spiral while he does the explosion near the end of combo. i tried to do this on my set by healing first but the bloodblight you get ruins the damage of subsequent spirals. this may mean blood awakening sets win overall but i just wanted to use my stupid set.
or alternatively ignore all of the above and just do a follower run and save 30 seconds easily for 1/10th of the grind, wow very skillful.

Just got into speedrunning and this was one of the most helpful videos that came across. Now I could run hazard mal in 3:40ish (2 dogs)

why aren't you using blood awekening? I mean, you use draconic conversion but from what I understand you do more damage with blood awakening
dheart dragon conversion with adrenaline does a bit more damage
The Primordial are the new sh*t for Dragon now? Is the Purple sharpness making such difference because the Valstrax Dual Blades have more Element. Do you augment all Dual Blades with full Elemental Attack or do you make a slot upgrade on the Dual Blades that don‘t have a lvl3 slot?
aelucanth dbs are strongest for dragon in terms of damage
primordial is competitive because it has so many slots for extra tech skills and needs less sharpness upkeep
valstrax dbs kinda suck now
the only meta db without rampage 3 slot is narwa, it's worth upgrading the rampage slot on elembane matchups, it should be marginally stronger with elembane

Great run! How did you manage to skip the HP lock on the final phase?
i take him straight down to the hp lock during first transform so he immediately goes into second transform
hp lock is detrimental when he topples from first transform, he has to do a few moves in base state before going into second transform
@@juzzi Thank you for your quick response. I have been wracking my brain since last night because the HP lock lasts for 30seconds. So what you did in 1:33 is topple him while he's on the first transform. Let me try that too. I do that to him sometimes when the thunder starbust kicks in.
Question again sorry, I presume the spiral skill has way more damage than 3 wall bangs. Any other reason why you only did 1 wall bang?
Thanks in advance for answering! I have 3:33 best time at the moment (no frostcraft sad). The HP lock is just taking too much time and its frustrating.

spiral is probably more dps
i don't need the subsequent wallbangs to reach the hp lock threshold
