Ben in particular really seems to enjoy himself here and I totally love it. I've been a loyal fan for years and while I think that Danny isn't really that great anymore (no hate, I still love him...I just feel like he doesn't fit the vibe of the band anymore), I think that the rest of them are really thriving. I mean, they look highly motivated (except for Danny), and I really think they're doing great. I get the thing with Danny's vocal injury and that he just can't scream that well anymore, but honestly, I think his singing has been better as well. I love every AA phase, I had the opportunity to see them live in Mexico City in 2022 but I don’t feel that connection between Danny and the whole band, looks like 2 different persons, including the friendship between Danny and Ben. I love AA but I think that the band doesn’t have to much time together

as a veteran asking fan. hes fine. healthier now thn he ever was. his voice cant sound the same as it does on the album. like with the song into the fire. he never does the high notes. not bc he cant. bc hes trying to save his voice. its rough touring and he will make his voice weaker if he constantly hits those notes right. although they had a comeback show after covid n he did the high notes in into the fire

This was my first time seeing Asking Alexandria live on stage. I'm not their fan and only knew two songs before Download festival. I was really looking forward to see them live after hearing their song with Sharon from Within Temptation. I don't know why but they get on stage 20 minutes late and they shorted their performance by half. No one said anything, they just played less songs than expected. There was many fans of Asking Alexandria and almost all of them had a lot of fun ! Some people has complain about this show being too short that's it, no complains about performance on stage or singing/screaming. You can say what you think after watching this video but please be respectful to the band and other commentators. In my opinion this wasn't one of the best performances on that night. I have enjoyed more The Warning or Smash Into Pieces not even mentioning Within Temptation and Evanescence. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it but not that much as expected maybe because they had too many pre-recorded fragments that they played during the show. As well many ppl around me was hoping for singing Faded with Sharon, that would be cool. So please behave in comment section either you liked it or not :) 🔥🤘

Neither Danny or Ben never played keyboards live they just run backing tracks for the keyboard parts since the beginning of them playing live since 2008. Ryan Binns was their keyboard player but he left early before the start of recording. Even if they follow that way I don't care, all of the band members in Asking Alexandria lost their energy and passion and I will not listen to them ever again. Plus, they now lost their hearts as mention of a Reddit comment. I know many RUclips comments will say that they still love their early material, and image and still loving the band but what they don't know is that if they check any performances live from late 2017 and the start of 2018 to now then I think almost of the many I mention won't care. These other people including me of RUclips and Reddit has critized this band for the lack of energy, passion and now their hearts. Rock and Metal news websites never cover the whole story of this band now during the tours in 2021, 2022 and 2023 other than promotion and health. I think it is time for me to get rid of all of their songs that I like to listen will now be ignored for the rest of my life. This scene kid band sucks for 90% of their history and they have live the life of rock and roll that many modern bands don't do unless I see a modern band that live their lives like that I mention of Asking Alexandria living that lifestyle direction since 2010 and now they have fallen apart first in the early bad days and 2014 and now since 2018. I mention early I am not going to listen to them anymore in the future and that is how I am going to do it now after this tour until I regret myself if they bring out big news to me in a good way like having a new vocalist that replaces Danny and brings the band, their passion, hearts and their energy back to life.

He's Paul Bartolome. Danny's friend and helped to write the new AA album. About the backing vocals, i mean, all bands do that: bfmv, bmth, ax7, etc. I prefeer danny singing well the cleans part than have vocal damage and pprefeer doing lyp syncing and playback like last tour.
I can see now why they had such a sudden switch to being more rock. Danny just can’t do it anymore. So many years of doing vocals incorrectly will ruin anyone. I’m glad they started making heavy shit again, but wonder why he’s doing that to himself knowing he has to perform them live?

This... something similar happened with Trivium back in 2014 or something. Matt Heafy really hurt his voice and couldn't scream anymore, so their guitarist Corey took care of live screams instead. They adapted, and made a sick album despite it having no screams on it. Eventually Matt found a vocal coach who taught him to scream correctly without messing his voice up, and now live he sounds better than ever. Watch Danny end up doing the same thing and suddenly these same people saying he should quit will start kissing his ass again like it's the second coming of metalcore christ. 💀💀💀

You are wrong. I am a classically trained vocal coach and his vocals are good for live within this genre at a high range. You are used to hearing edited vocals.
