Pretty amazing on how much it takes to go fast. Chris Moore and Jeremy Teasley are turning 6.20's with a 700 hp pro street GXSR 1000's with no wheelie bars. These guys have more than double the horse power and struggle to go 1/2 a sec. faster. Incredible.
I buy nothing but Trim-Tex products for my apartments. There is no better ambassador for this ultra risky, ultra heart pumping sport than Larry McBride! Big fan, thanks for sponsoring him Trim-Tex so the sport can keep advancing.
Wow congrats on 100k+ subs. It wasn't that long ago you had less than 30k subs and I always wondered why so little subs. But now I'm very happy to see your hard work and devotion is being noticed. Larry has to be the best pilot. Makes it look so smooth is amazing. I'm also very happy for Filippos Papafilippou accomplishment. All these top fuel bike racers and their families teams are great people. Thank you CycleDrag for everything.
Always remember Rod Palant racing Brian Johnson at Santa Pod in the 80's. Cross wind was so strong RP was hanging off the left of his bike with nearly his elbow down at 200+. Classic race between two supermen.
@@kene6838 my first street bike was a green one I can't remember the year 74 or 5? Ported ,milled head and piped way faster than my rz's that I had later.....from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s. stay safe everyone ❤
Couldn't stand them in the early 80's when I was racing. Now when I see them on RUclips I smile and wish I would have built one, might have won more races, less breakage, what was wrong with me?
@@patrickhatrick6215 I hear ya! Followed him when he bought Terry Vance's TF bike (now Sam Wills is restoring it) but couldn't get much news. Then I stumbled across this channel and have been catching up. I REALLY want to go to a race, watch him work in the pits, have a word with him, and get his autograph! I'm really an admirer of his now.
@@happydays8171 Drag racing is the most fan friendly sport. You can always walk the pits an talk to any of the racers. Hope you get the chance to interact with the man himself. Where are you from HD? We can bullshit any time. PEACE!!!!!
Made a couple of minor changes to our bike, maybe a little better performance. To those who were at Fontana, the bike has new wheelie bars. It looks as our first race will be at Samoa for the Western States Extreme series. We should have at least 15 bikes there for the extreme series. There has also been added a new class for 7.70 racers as well as the unlimited series. Looking forward to getting back on the Heart's Desire Top Fuel Kawasaki.
As we now can tell... Not everything works like a slideruler... go to procrastination racing and use the calculator... all you need is the top end speed and the combined weight of the motorcycle and rider and the calculator will tell the horsepower
I've been waiting for your post on this race! To answer your question in the comments, yes I would love to ride one of these if I got the chance. there is a serious "respect the power" Vibe with anything especially these but if I got the chance to slowly make laps and all that, I would do it in a heartbeat, would be a dream (and it's also not something you can just wing it, you'd HAVE to have knowledgeable people with you and behind you with how powerful these things are now) -- so yeah, help me find a ride, we can be teammates or anyone else let's do it! 😁🤘🏻 (Hell, I literally drive by Sam's shop nearly every day even though I don't know him, it's hard to miss when you're into racing, lol)

I like the interviews where we get to hear the interviewee’s insight, the shots of the racing and the announcing of the racing situation. THAT to me is CycleDrag. The other filler stuff, meh. This is and has been great shots documenting racing. Per your “let me know what y’all think in the comments”; MHO critique- Leave the filler stuff at the narrating the video and letting the stuff happen naturally. Your narrating is exciting when it comes to the racing. Try not to interfere too much. Don’t hijack the interview or make people uncomfortable by straight up sticking a camera in their face. The special intro cut of The Anthem, getting the guys to hug pt two, the post monologues, it’s disingenuous and can be interpreted as lopsided pandering. Don’t lose followers over easy stuff. Be natural. You’re rad. Don’t be afraid to be yourself. Stick to the racing. Try not to be repetitive. Keep up the good work! Much love from Chicago, IL.

That black Harley is a beast.
Would I ride one? ABSOLUTELY!
I ran a much slower drag bike for several years in the late 80's. Have an NHRA oscar to show for it. 🙂
Was it in the NHRA Pro categories, or Sportsman?

FOR 1500HP it should be low 5 seconds or high 4s. Is the governing body of drag racing limits how fast this bikes can go?
