I have always felt that cheekbone blush is about contour, not really about where we would color if we blushed naturally. Using blush over the apples and bridge of nose I think looks more natural, because those are the areas the sun would color. I have fuller cheeks, had no cheekbones you could see when I was younger, now that I’m older and my face less full, I actually have noticeable cheekbones, but I still just put blush on the apples of my cheeks. Works for me.

What do you think about the Korean way of blush (sometimes as high as below the eye)? Would it fit a mature person?
My mother does it that way and she's 72. But it suits her face shape. I think that's the most important, not much our age.
It's totally dependent on your face shape and if you're wanting to give more of a lifted effect or not!
