- Ever wanted to know what chaos looks like as a cosplayer/ costumer? Enter @LadyRebeccaFashions and I. Rebecca suggested to me that we make an entire new costume each in 24 hours using only thifted materials with a budget of $40. I said she was crazy, I was in.
And we set the theme of "fantasy"... and we both ended up as hobbits as I think we both appreciate that we are in our hearts, quite hobbit like.
Join us for this crazy adventure! This video focuses mostly on what I created but you should also check out Rebecca's video of her creation too. That can be found: • One Day Upcycled Cospl...

So much fun. I was thinking, "Her friends are so much more fun than mine!" Then it hit me!!!! I need to be more fun. ME. I. This girl. I need to let my fun play! Thank you for the inspiration. (And, I still think that getting to be Lady R.'s friend is such a cool thing.)
Hahaha just always be your authentic self!
So much fun! I can't believe you both made a vest in a day - and all the rest. And that border 'round the cloak - so fancy!
Thank you so much!
In 24 hours, I managed to get my costumes jacket cut out !!!!!! I can't believe you both made those wonderful costumes in one day.
It was chaos. But it was a lot of fun
I need cosplay pals to do this with me
I would highly recommend. But remember, Rebecca and I live on opposite sides of the world
I love how the colors in both your costumes go together! Great job!
Thank you so much!
Always put in the pockets!
Always
Looks like you had a great time with Rebecca, and very cute hobbit outfit for you both ❤
It was! Thank you
You both looked so wonderful! The two of you looked like you were have so much fun on your videos. Great idea for a challenge
Thank you so much 🤗
I love seeing you in my hometown stomping grounds. I hope it stopped raining for you and I hope you had a wonderful wonderful visit. Next time you come to Seattle see if Rebecca can take you to the curiosity shop on Seattle waterfront. It’s ridiculous and fun. I think it’s something you could appreciate as a brief touristy stop. I grew up in the area and I still love going to visit seeing what sort of silliness they’ve got going on now
We did that last time we went to seattle - it was gorgeous!
I love this collaboration. You both did an amazing job.
Thank you!
I love your laughter and enthusiasm for everything. Your costumes turned out great. You would fit right in at a renaissance festival.
Yes! Thank you! We embraced the chaos.
Would love to see more of these cosplay challenges with limits, especially with other types, like armor. As much as I appreciate the work that cosplayers put into their cosplayers, sometimes it feels like too much effort and hours.
I think there is a place for all types of crafting of cosplay/ costumes
I love Terry! "This is main character energy. This is side character energy." Perfect description!
Hahahaha he certainly has a way to make it clear for me
These came out SUPER CUTE!! ❤❤❤
Thank you mate! We had a ball.
This is so fun!
Thanks
I just discovered your channel through Rebecca’s video. This was so much fun, and I am absolutely, 1000 percent, behind this whole hobbit core vibe! I really love how you tied together the bodice fabric with the cape. It really elevates the costume to the next level. I’m very impressed with what y’all accomplished in such a short time. I’m definitely going to check out your channel. You seem like so much fun. Take care.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching and welcome to the channel!
You ladies did a fantastic job!☺
Thank you! 😊
I love what you two created together ! What a fun project to do as sewing buddies!
Absolutely good fun indeed
Loved watching this challenge from both points of view. It looked like you both had a lot of fun.
It was! There was so much laughter
I just watched Rebecca's video and Ive enjoyed meeting you and ty Terry ( for costume advice and filming) and watching your version! 😀💖 You both look great and perfect scenery to film in! Ps Did you get on the plane in costume? Hope your trip home was stress-free.
Thank you! It was all such fun! I took the costume home with me and I have already worn the chemise dress again for a small reel on Instagram. Love it!
That fabric was a good choice, really stunning 🤩
Thank you so much!
Glad that you had fun! Late night crazy sewing is good once in a while 🤣! Off to watch Rebecca's video now. 💜💜
Hope you enjoyed it!
All the chaos was great fun.
Are the thrift stores as good and as cheap as they seem in comparison to our op shops?
They are cheaper in some ways. So for example, the bed linens were about 5-10 dollars USA which is about 9-18 ish dollars I think. I’ve seen some bed linens in our op shops for up to $40!
Clearly Terry knows things and you should trust his taste more. 😊
I agree
Super fun!!!!!!!
It really was!
❤ you both look great!
Thank you!!
Oh yeah I guess you don't need to worry about bears when doing location shoots in Australia, it's not often that I have to worry about bears during mine but a friend and I definitely had to book it out of a location once when "either a very large dog or a coyote just jumped into that lake behind us" (we were in a wooded, mountainous area but still on college grounds even!)
Oh my god, that sounds terrifying
Well done, ladies! What a fun idea!
Thanks so much!
I’ve never been able to hear the ‘naur’ type accent that people say Australians have, until I heard you speaking compared to Rebecca’s accent 😂 I must hear it too much here in Perth for it to actually register 😂
It’s so true. A few people asked Terry and I to say “no” which we obliged lol
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
:)
Well done!!!
Thanks!
Regular Rebecca watcher here. Enjoyed watching her video had to come watch yours too. Well done! Amazing work in so little time. 🧵
Thanks so much! 😊
Your outfits turned out so cute and awwdorable. It's so funny how you both did similar things but how different your individual costumes turned out.
Right?! I love how they look like they were from the same universe but just different set of characters
@@KirileeCosplay actually I thought you two lovely ladies looked like you could be sisters.
This was so much fun to watch! When you showed us your full costume, you said pretty much my sum up in my head right after I thought it!
The costume turned out great - and you really do look like a hobbit next to Rebecca!
Glad you liked it!! Thank you for watching!
