    We need more Trad Irish tunes on claw hammer! It sounds so good.

      Hi Neil, ya, that was my first time jamming trad tunes with a claw hammer player.. I really enjoyed it. Steve has gone back to the US now but I'll definitely be trying to get another tutorial done with him or another claw hammer player when I can 👍

    As a clawhammer player, and student of dadgad guitar, this is amazing, just the perfect collaboration. Would love a lesson on your version of "slipjigs and reels". One of my favorites that you guys play.

    Go raibh maith agat, Aodan. Great video. Ps. Just a curiosity of mine; do you use a dadgad set of strings when playing in dadgad?

    • @aodancoynemusic
      @aodancoynemusic  Год назад

      Thanks Luca. No, I haven't ever used a specific DADGAD set of strings. Although I'd like to try! I mainly use Elixir nanoweb medium. They tend to last a few gigs for me and I like the tone. If you find a good set of DADGAD specific strings, let me know and I might give them a go. Cheers

      @@aodancoynemusic I'm using a set of D'Addario Dadgad. It's basically light gauge, but with 1st, 2nd, and 6th strings medium.
