The ONE time I rode without my arm/elbow pads I smashed the ol elbow and squealed like a little gal! I never ride without my pads anymore. Love the videos bro!
Last year I bought a 2020 tc125 for a trail ride and I thought the lectron was setup but no the thing blew up half way up a step ass hill and when I started to roll back I thought to myself oh shit then broke a rib and collar bone
Watching was like reliving a ride earlier this year. Two broken fingers and some pins later I’m right as rain. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Best of luck and thank you for all the great content.
I felt this entire video, if you crash early on in a ride and actually cause yourself pain your confidence level (whether you realize it or not and or depending of course on the rider) goes to zero real fast and typically doesnt come back or at least not fully during that day and just causes you to over think and over react with your movements and just ends up being unnatural to the point where you will fall more often and end up falling off the bike for "no reason"
Indeed. When my confidence level drops after a fall, I have to control the emotions in order to finish the ride. If you allow the emotions to govern, it will not be enjoyable and you're setting yourself up for more jittery falls. Always another day to ride.
Lessons I have learned from watching you and riding a KTM: shorten the throttle tube after installing the KTM wrap around hand guards to avoid binding; Always be recording. I always seemed to hurt myself off camera then decided to just get a bigger sd card and carry more batteries so now I can show the story of how I was injured rather than just tell it lol
Everyone has a bad day every now and again. 😉 That’s why I hate fixed hand guards as bust 2 fingers when had a big off now flappy guards all the way. Hope your back on the bike soon .
That sucks, wishing you a speedy recovery as I love watching these videos. If you haven’t already I highly recommend getting the suspension setup professionally to your weight and riding style as it will complete transform the bike👍🤟😎
Hey we all have bad days haha. And usually when I'm in a bad mood I tip it over on the tiniest bumps or ruts when I normally would cruise right over. That's what pisses me off more than anything lol.
With you right now mate. Broke both my wrists 2 weeks ago. Couldn't even type until yesterday when I got different casts so no riding for another 6+ weeks 😐. About all I can do is watch your vids and play mx simulator. Keep up the great work!
Unlucky dude, hopefully your finger gets better soon and it's nothing serious. Unfortunately we have those sort of rides every now and then. Tough love I guess😄
I hope you feel better I have those days too. I broke my finger by slipping on grass the one day in 10 minutes when I was still warming the bike up and couldn’t ride for a couple weeks. But take the time to relax maybe do some thing else so you get your spirit up to ride dirt bike again!
1st fall i took last sunday the wrap arounds jammed my throttle...ther not very good if they take side impact....BUT better than a broken brake/clutch lever.... nice vid👍
Moose racing makes a long sleeve breathable shirt with chest, back, shoulders and elbow/forearm removable padding. Saved my but a few times in the rocks while riding Moab, Utah. Think it's called M1 padding
We all have days like this man, I usually try to recognize it and turn it around, if I can't then I just go home and stop for the day. It's too easy to get hurt or mess up your bike when you are having an off day.
After a couple drops mate, it got to your head happens to us all. I suggest you stand up more especially thru the woods. Start picking up a lot more speed and feel more confident in the bike 👌
It comes with the territory, I’ve had a fractured thumb in December, fractured little finger in March, now nursing a small fracture in the wrist🤕 I wish someone could design super strong but very durable gloves and wrist protectors, the hands and wrists being the most exposed part of the body on a moto😬
@@0xsergy I had to learn this...I don't even own a dirt bike anymore. I went to street bikes. It just hurts my knees too much. Riding hard off road leads me to walking like a penguin for several days afterwards.
I know the feeling mate. Still riding with a busted hand after Wern Ddu. Chin up and just think watching the boys shred and you can’t at the end only make you more hungry for it 🤘🏼💪🏻
Yep know exactly how you feel rode the other day and a lost the front out of nowhere on a bloody wet tree root, them crashes shit you because it has nothing to do with ability! Do what I do when I have a Gumby day,buy a new set of grips or some for the bike and it feels like new again. ✊🏻 Heal up and get out there soon ✌🏻
Get the pads out, you’ve seen the adverts - you can do anything with winged pads ha!! Always a few knocks and damage, be prepared and ready - great route!!
This looks like every ride I've ever done😂its always knees I ruin. Last time I hit a jump I wasn't comfortable doing I ended up next to the bike full throttle dragging myself across a quarry like something out of a western😂
oh m8 i just got done gone with my boys driving quads in much worse areas than this, now i washed myself off and im sitting here in a confy blanet looking at you go thru all of this
Did you sleep last night? U seem like not responding to obsticals and not focusing about riding/chooing lines/standing up when you need to etcetera... Fun to watch, i hope you will heal fast and make more content.
Love my zeta handguards! I have to put them in the vice every 4 rides or so to bend them back away from the lever ends. Without them id be on speed dial to the chinese lever shop and my knuckles would look like dinner plates.
Ya it does suck riding and falling a lot but you have to now that it could of been worse. Like i was riding my dirt bike and I broke my knee In four different places. So you just have to say that it could of been worse.
When I broke my leg it honestly felt like I had never rode a motorbike and I felt like I didn't know the bike well. Its weird, but I hope the best for your recovery.
I would strongly recommend keeping wrap arounds if youre riding trees or a broken pinky be next 😆 enduro engineering do good set you don't have to run the roost deflectors and they don't attach to the lever pivot points like the stock shite. Dont suppose you've had the front axle off recently have you? Can make the bike handle like crap if its not re installed correctly. Great vid though
Man that was crazy. I just got a ktm 150 sx and I’m trying to get used to it. I’ve kinda grew on a 4 stroke and just got a crf 250r a few months ago. They are really fun though.
In the beginning when you came up to that first puddle, did you see the ruts right next to it that went around lol I think your friend let you be the lab rat there! It was def deeper then I would have thought.
Lol yea I thought about that after I posted the comment just know how my buddies do me lol It’s looks awesome man, we don’t have places to ride like this where I’m at. I appreciate the trail blazing and the adventure rides. We get a lil taste her but nothing like this
I get a similar feeling from the suspension on my ‘22 350exc-f sometimes… Have you done anything that has improved your suspension since this video? @MidWestMX
Sometimes after a fair crash, doesn’t matter if you’re injured, out of breath or not, best to take a 15 minute breather to regain focus. Not really talking about a tip over.
Some days you just ain't feeling it, and sometimes you ride anyways and quickly realize why you shoulda just rested up and watched riding videos at home..lol live n learn tho
Half wraps don't do shit when you hit a tree tho, not that it happens often but still. I honestly prefer no guards tho. I've always worried about getting a finger stuck under
@@0xsergy full wraps when you hit a tree totally bounce you off the trail and into trees on the other side and will wreck you. When this happens you are MORE likely to suffer injury and more serious injury too. The half wraps glance off the trees and do not impact the way you think. Only the worst deeply inside hits would hurt your hands… it’s a risk that is there but most of the tree hits just brush off the side. I wear hard knuckle gloves which also help… I would rather have a crushed finger than a broken wrist or arm or back
Best advice ever, If you're not in the mood to ride then don't almost like if you get on your bike and you don't "feel it" do not ride it.
"Sometimes maby good, sometimes maby shit!!!" We all have our bad days.
I crashed like 20 minutes ago and hurt so I figured it would make me feel better to watch another’s get hurt 😂😭
@@Hardslidda It always works lol
Spent a lot of time on the ground this day mate... I know how that feels all too well lol!
Hey! Big fan of the channel😀
gonna need a finger update video!
Yeah
I scream when i fall from my bike lol i dont want to know what happen if my finger get broken
I feel bad for you....
Think you psyched yourself out, it happens after a couple drops, you start to look at everything as an obstacle, even easy stuff.
True. Almost got by a Harley on my rm125 goin about 60, couldn’t stay on the bike whole ride
I like how there's something bad happening in pretty much every chapter of this video 😂 definitely not a good day mate hope you recover well.

It happens man, I had a bad one the other day, felt off. A little demoralizing but decided to slow down and tried to focus on other things to improve.
Been watching your channel for the last year. You've gone a long way in terms of riding. Get well soon buddy.

I find I ride like this if I'm dehydrated. One good thing is that the video was out Saturday in Australia. Cheers.
Way to be grateful for riding if I was out there I would have a smile on my face even when I fell

10:53 you gotta ride it like a two stroke, and if the 300 is too much get 250 or 150
You don’t need to be on the power and all the time on 300s a and the news ones are fuel injected so you can’t file a plug
@@ncerc459 yes i know, but you stil can ride it like a two stroke or closer, dont need to bog it all the time and just shift gears
