I love PoE, but as a dirty casual... this is one of those things I just hate about the game and have no interest in engaging with. Nothing about this strikes me as fun. I'm glad it's there for people that like this sort of thing, but... no. No thanks.
I just killed Maven for the first time. I'm on and off since open beta... :) It gave me some motivation to chase the rest of the pinnacle bosses, but yea, few hundred divines worth of gear for the uber versions definitely isn't gonna happen. The normal versions seem a lot easier than I expected though.
