The first fashion memory I have,
is of a guy with long hair
on the beach in Biarritz who
said to me,
"Do you want to pose for Vogue?"
Vogue? Of course. I was delighted,
I was 15 and still at school.
And just like that, he invited
me to the Vogue studio,
which was at the Palais
Bourbon at that time.
And then I had to eat some kind
of yoghurt.
So I ate the yoghurt and I tried
not to spill it anywhere.
With hair and make-up, it lasted five hours
A week later, I went to
a newsstand to buy Vogue
and, of course, it wasn’t out yet.
Finally, Two months later,
I finally bought Vogue.
I looked through it and couldn't
find the photo.
And then at last, I found a
photo about this big -
really, about that size - and
I looked terrible,
eating my yoghurt.
It was ridiculous,
it was really the worst.
Firstly, in the fashion world,
you must know that we take drugs.
There we are,
this is me getting my hit.
Don't tell everyone what I’m on...
Before, I was like that
and now, I'm like this!
I have this jacket, which is
warm, because at the Grand Palais,
it is always a little chilly.
It's an Inès de la Fressange, so
that's a bit of self-promotion.
I have this little blouse and
these pants as well.
And then, we have this hat,
in case it rains.
There! And the hairstylist is
furious with me.
I also remember that one day,
I was at a couture show,
and Karl wanted to pull a
dress from the show because
one of his assistants had told him that
it looked like Lacroix.
It didn't look like a Lacroix at
all, and it was a beautiful dress.
And I saw the faces of the head
of the workshop and the woman
who sewed it - they were
so disappointed
because it had taken hours of work
and kilometres of fabric.
So I put the dress straight on,
which it didn't suit me at all
because it was a sort of tutu
like that with a bustier, and
it wasn't my style at all.
And then, I started moving
around the studio,
saying, "No, this dress
is divine, it's so, so pretty.
Karl, don't take
it out of the show".
And then Karl said, "If you
like it so much,
why don't you go ahead and wear
it in the show".
So I said, "All right", and
afterwards the whole workshop
came to see me and kiss me
and thank me.
They all chipped in
to buy me a little doll.
It was a Bécassine doll.
I don't know if there was a
message in there somewhere,
but I still remember it,
it was super touching and kind.

C’est une personne bien humble, mais je déteste sa façon de parler, je trouve cela inélégant. Loin d’être chic comme certains le décrivent.
Personne n'a l'air choque? Il n'y a rien derriere le marketing de cette femme, meme a un defile Chanel qui devait etre sublime! Qu'avons-nous vu a part des fripes du genre made in Bangladesh/China-Zara/Uniqlo? Des gardes du corps a la fashion week madame! Interessant... La vie de ses gens doit etre terriblement risquee, meme si elle ne nous fait pas vraiment frissonner.
