Seems like the next generation’s Trifonov to me! Really superb touch and some very unique voices/articulation brought out in this performance, fantastic playing!!!

Yes. CZIFFRA version was 4 minutes 42 seconds long and absolutely incredibly lyrical even at the fast tempo Cziffra takes and the soft muted sonorities in some bars were exquisite.

@@pianosenzanima1 While you may want to support this pianist, you are putting others down for it- saying the the winner of the tchaik competition didnt deserve their prize and that other pianists technique sucks. I agree that this interptetation is great, but I also like others.
@@pianosenzanima1 he shouldn't imitate Cziffra, he's a personality if his own, not Cziffra's double and as much as I prefer Cziffra's toccata over everyone else, i don't think we should tell someone to imitate another artist
Muy veloz, a veces demasiado, perdiendo precisión, usando demasiado pedal y así perdiendo claridad en momentos altamente polifonicos y contrapuntisticos. Schumann no era alguien que buscará exhibición de virtuosismo como primer objetivo y ese es el enfoque que tomo este intérprete. Es su enfoque, pero no comparto.
This person who plays such a difficult piece with such fun and excitement is amazing.
It's impossible to play it without that excitement, it's part of the technique to difficult pieces.
