The commandant of Konigsberg, Otto von Lyash, said: "The weak Russian fortress of Sevastopol held for 250 days, so Konigsberg will stand forever." Only he forgot to say that the Red Army liberated Sevastopol in less than four days.

I’m enjoying this immensely with the war in Ukraine, my father-in-law lost his father in Belarus, he was 3 and lived in the forest until the war ended, lived on berries and mushrooms in the woods with his mother. His father was killed ruthlessly by Germans, he was just a Soviet communal farmer.

Sad you find the deaths and rape of innocent civilians in present day Ukraine an “ entertainment “

Today. Both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers are showing the same fierceness. They are the same culture. Brothers the are.

The Soviets slaughtered more people before the war even began than the Nazis would in their entire reign. They also slaughtered more Germans AFTER the war than the Nazis did in the Holocaust, and raped MILLIONS of German women. They not only helped Germany invade Poland, they then held Eastern Europe in a far purer form of totalitarianism than Nazism, for 45 years.
But you consider THEM the good guys? 🤦‍♂️They were far more reprehensible than the Nazis

Imagine if the Germans had brought navy ships or a few subs overland and placed them in the water..
