      Yes, they definitely make it easy especially on 1080 and Fusion, plus they include the programming card in the package.

    Thank you! I ordered a Fusion SE to put in my Sendero SE. As have multiple 1080 program cards, I didn’t order a program card for the SE. I was under the impression, Hobbywing included a decal to apply to tihe 1080 program card? Well no decal was provided, so your video was exactly what I needed to get it up and running. Thanks again! 👍🏼

      Ahh that must be the cost cutting on Fusion SE. I know that the more expensive Fusion Pro includes them. Additionally if you look for the manual, they should include include the information as well.

      Setting 5 lets you choose motor rotation on Quicrun Fusion SE, option 1 CCW & option 2 CW. You can download the manual here: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0109/9702/files/Manual_HW-SMC319DUL_QUICRUN_Fusion_SE_20220722.pdf?v=1669157586

    I use 1 steering servo and 3 micro servos. The steering servo is a high voltage servo. What is your suggestion for item number 6 (BEC VOLTAGE)?.

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 года назад +1

      Most micro servos are capable upto 6.0v, so there is really no option than to just go with 6.0v, unless you have micro servos that can handle 7.4v. For my setup where I also use high voltage steering servo, I set it up as direct powered, but on BEC Voltage, I select the 6.0v.

    Did they discontinue the 1200 fusion pro and 1800kv?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Год назад +1

      They have discontinued the Fusion 1200kv. The 1800kv version is being sold SE version (a bit simplified version, but a much lower cost). And they have added the 2300kv version sold as Fusion Pro.

    So this is a question about the HW Fusion 1800. I have a strange issue; not sure if issue or feature but here goes. So I set the drag braks ( setting 7 ) to the max 9. It seems though that anything I set on Drag Brake Rate ( setting 8 ) has no effect .. or only partial. Even set to 1 if I shortly blip the throttle, instantly as I let go the wheels lock up again. Only if I full throttle it for about a second and let go it will slow down gradually to a stop. Again ... only with throttle blips ... it immediately locks up as soon as I let go. As a comparison I also have a AXE 550 R2 and that behaves much smoother while braking even if I only blip the throttle. Can you confirm this behaviour on the Fusion system ?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 года назад

      I am not sure exactly, but I found that having drag brake too strong didn't work too well, so I set mine to more moderate drag brake, and that provided enough drag brake for crawling. Might want to try changing that first and see.

    Does the program card for a HW1080 work in a Fusion Pro?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Год назад +2

      Yes, it does. The program card is all the same. The only difference is the sticker attached to the program card. Fusion Pro comes with a sticker that you can use...that's what I did with mine.

    Do you recommend 1800 or 1200? Ever fit one in a Capra?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 года назад +1

      Personally I prefer the 1800kv, but I am not sure if it will fit in Capra unless you mod the skid/tray. It might be a bit too long, but I haven't tried it on Capra, so not sure.

      Only order the 1200 if you are going to do rock crawling only. The 1200 packs a lot of power but the speed is very slow to bash around.
