technically the accubass on the audiocontrol amplifier and/or the LC7i isnt the same as the epicenter, the accubass is to help with the bass roll off of the radio... meaning as in the bass dropps as the higher you go on the volume to not damage or distort the stock speakers, the epicenter enhances the bass that was rolled off or cut off when the song was produced... but nice install, love your guy's harnesses

Absolutely not, 9 wire at the time this was made was only sold in 18Awg and can introduce static into your system. We used an early version of our twisted shock-wire that used 20awg for signal and 16 awg for the return. They now sell a cheap 16awg 9 wire to copy us, but its not twisted and doesn't prevent EMI.
Gotcha, just wasn’t sure on a factory non Bose system. How to get the 9 wire from factory head unit to the Lci, then lci rca to sundown amp. Then amp back up to the radio into harness to door speakers. Slightly confused.

so when connecting the AMP to the Stock GM stereo all you need is the loopback harness? Other than that, it is typical power and ground cables and then your connections to the SUB (from amp)

Hello Anthony, the factory bose amp does 80 watts so can you run an aftermarket sub yes will it power the sub properly no you would want to add a small amp like a acm1.300 or a Rockford 2.400 that can bridge to 1 channel at 400 watt will probably be 2 ohm so make sure your sub is the same impedance (ohm).
Does the OEM loopback harness have the "Remote" wire for the aftermarket amps (Example: AudioControl LC4.800 in the video) or do you have to run that separate from a separate location? Thanks
i have a 2015 Silverado 1500 and there's only 2 wires coming from the green plug. a red and a black on the far right of the plug. Where would i find the audio wires in this case? Its a rally edition with Bose speakers
Hello, soubds like the vehilces has a Bose amp behind the rear seat. All of the audio will be running through the amp. The wiring behind the screen would just be data.
Hello Antonio 👋 when u say AUX and blue what do you mean ? Our harness doesn't have an aux option and the blue wire MAY be the remote turn on depending on your ordered configuration.

Hello LS, yes we do we are the creators of the OEM loopback harness. This design lets you get signal on one side of the harness and then return it on the other to the factory speakers via the factory wires.
Correct, the Loopback Harness will provide signal to your processor or amp. The return end of the harness gets wired to the output side of the amp and takes that amplified signal back to the speakers, via the factory wiring. The harness does not modify anything in the vehicle or in the signal, it simply carries it through.

Hi Marco, the LC4.800 and LC1.800 offer GTO which allows the amp to turn on when it senses audio signal come through. You do not need to run a remote turn on wire to the amp.

To everyone wondering if the product is worth it, HELL YES. The build quality is better than I could have expected, and the cost was barely over retail for the equipment included. Hello, yes we have a video on the Bose Loopback Harness as well. The harness can be ordered with a processor which will provide RCA out or it can be ordered with RCA ends to plug in directly to the amp. We only recommend plugging in directly to the amp if the amp can handle the voltage from the Bose amp which will output 32v.

I bought your harness for a 2014 Silverado with an LP7-2R. I’m trying to figure out how to tune the system now. There’s gain adjustment in 3 or 4 different places so I don’t know which to adjust and what to set the others to. There’s gain on the LP-7 and the remote gain that connects to it. There’s also gain on my kicker amp and I think there’s a gain setting in the factory radio. Should the all be set to the lowest and adjusted only with the remote gain knob that came with the LP7?
I'm looking in to using that line out put converter. It seems as though that knob is specific to ch 3 the "bass" channel... each gain should be for each channel ..

Hello Raymond, thank you for watching the video. We used a simple ground shaker double 12"'s with some Rockford P3s's. We make a point of showing that expensive doesn't mean its better. Tuning is key . any box you buy make sure your subs will fit and at what frequency that way you know what your looking to get when it comes to your amp and the signal you feed it.
Hello, the only difference would be in the amps or amp that you have. Some amps dont use or do need and lc7i depending on there high or speaker level inputs. The bose amp outputs 32v so make sire your equipment is compatible

How did you get the remote for the amp.
Hi Marco, the LC4.800 and LC1.800 offer GTO which allows the amp to turn on when it senses audio signal come through. You do not need to run a remote turn on wire to the amp.

Hello pronox, no your signal is at the bose amp that is mounted on the lower center of the back wall if you have the truck. And the harness will be the bose T-harness this is the 8 inch screen harness. We have a bose video if you want to look ! Thank you for your question.

Hello Curtis, i am sure that was followed up by u needing a seat lift and a custom box . No, you dont, and that's the point of this video, we used a single 12 Rockford P3s and a ground shaker box at 380 Watts rms . It is important to tune it correctly, and that is what most shops dont know how to do and why they upsell

I had this done on my truck.. now my air conditioner is acting funny.. if it gets really hot, when i turn the car on none of the AC knobs turn on. then sometimes they do work.. sometimes it blows cold air, and the it blows hot air.. what could be wrong??

Mine is a 4" tall x 7" wide screen with a green plug but only has 2 wires. Hot and Ground coming out of it. 2014 Chevy Silverado double cab with a Bose system without a woofer. To everyone wondering if the product is worth it, HELL YES. The build quality is better than I could have expected, and the cost was barely over retail for the equipment included. For a novice, the rack is easily 20-30 hours of labor, if you even had the right tools. LLJ is the real deal

I have a 2014 Silverado with the 8" screen and no Bose, I am planning on putting the Linkswell Tesla style display that will utilize the factory connections. I want to add a 4 channel and a monoblock amp to the system, are there any of your harnesses that will work for this?
For the non-amplified system we currently do not have a wiring option for an aftermarket head unit.
I got a zero gauge wiring kit and it won't snap underneath the plastic foot panel did you guys run it under the truck or something?

Hello, yes we have a video on the Bose Loopback Harness as well. The harness can be ordered with a processor which will provide RCA out or it can be ordered with RCA ends to plug in directly to the amp. We only recommend plugging in directly to the amp if the amp can handle the voltage from the Bose amp which will output 32v.

I bought your harness for a 2014 Silverado with an LP7-2R. I’m trying to figure out how to tune the system now. There’s gain adjustment in 3 or 4 different places so I don’t know which to adjust and what to set the others to. There’s gain on the LP-7 and the remote gain that connects to it. There’s also gain on my kicker amp and I think there’s a gain setting in the factory radio. Should the all be set to the lowest and adjusted only with the remote gain knob that came with the LP7?
I'm looking in to using that line out put converter. It seems as though that knob is specific to ch 3 the "bass" channel... each gain should be for each channel ..

Our OEM Loopback harness was created to let you use the factory wires to get the signal for your aftermarket equipment and return that signal to the speakers via the factory wires. Our loopback provides power 12v @ 10amp to help run a dsp, processor, or dsp.

The remote for this vehicle can be taped on tbe driver side fuse panels or in out harness with a signal detection microchip

Hello Raymond, thank you for watching the video. We used a simple ground shaker double 12"'s with some Rockford P3s's. We make a point of showing that expensive doesn't mean its better. Tuning is key . any box you buy make sure your subs will fit and at what frequency that way you know what your looking to get when it comes to your amp and the signal you feed it.

Hello, the only difference would be in the amps or amp that you have. Some amps dont use or do need and lc7i depending on there high or speaker level inputs. The bose amp outputs 32v so make sire your equipment is compatible

I have noticed on a lot of RUclips videos people dont elaborate on their grounding points for this specific generation of trucks smh... grounding is the most important part

Does it amplify (make it louder) the chime form when driver door is open with the key in?
The chimes can be deleted and or minimized depending on how you decide to wire the system and the processor that you use with out harness
I took my truck to a guy and he installed it the same way you did but didn’t use the hardness and the chime is so loud he didn’t want to fix the chime
@@cristianmendez8916 the harness helps but it comes down to what LOC/dsp they used and if it was wired properly . there is many ways to get around the chimes.

I would like to know this as well. By taking the factory output and running it into the amp and back to the speaker harness using the loopback harness aren't you amplifying the door chimes as well?
