Absolutely amazing. I complete 10 or 12 miles and think I have done well! Your engaging personality and quiet determination always shine through. Thanks for another thoroughly enjoyable video.

Hey Claire, you are so lovely and humble. This was such an epic distance and to hold a camera and talk along the way....and keep that smile on your face is truly an achievement in itself. I checked out The Lap website. Super cool race! As for the blubbering I think that was such a beautiful moment you shared with all of us. Trail racing is where I believe we all learn so much about what makes us tick and become kinder to ourselves...and others. Hugs and congrats!

Well done fab video, i am going to sign up for next years one, don't know how much running I will manage though You did a cracking time well done.
I would be concerned at water running out at feed stations as I drink so much , but i do tend to carry a larger water bladder, I am excited now for next year,
I am hoping my nerves will hold, i do vet very anxious and have had a few dnf on the Montane spine , hoping 2025 will be my year its great to be able to watch very down to earth vidoes like yours, all the best with your running Andy 🙂

Fab, friends of mine have done the clockwise one in May before ,my friends have said that it is a lovely event and well organised, fingers crossed I get in tomorrow I have an excited buzz already and it's a year away 😅
After a few Montane spine attempts & dnf's it was time for a change, although I am sure that I will come back to the Montane sometime as I cannot let go for some reason but I am excited for something new , good luck with your events and fab videos 🙂

Well done!. Another one I hope to do one day! But always the same time as others or fully booked.

It's a good one, but you have to book a year in advance! I'll probably not do it again for that reason as I don't like committing to things too far in advance. Definitely worth doing once though.

Huge congratulations Claire! Wow fantastic what an achievement👌My son has done it twice and Ive met him at the check points. The navigational side of it especially in the dark must be quite testing. Another box ticked off for you 👍 and another fab video

I want to ask, is it really a hill? If it's a mountain, why is it so wide and not too high?

Well done. Superb effort. Loved the video. I liked your thinking of just breaking down the distance as checkpoint to checkpoint and trying not to focus on the overall distance. I've registered for next May for my first ever ultra and I've been thinking the same way. Just break it down to checkpoint to checkpoint.
