I went through a big episode of derealization after I broke up with my ex about a year ago. I could barely eat, i had to force myself to drink, and I slept most of the day. The rare times when I wasn't sleeping, though, I was laying in my bed motionless listening to this video on loop. It was the only thing at the time that could hold me together. I want to thank you for making this, even if you didn't think it would help anyone as much as it helped me. i work at a starbucks in texas and it was about 9pm on a rainy night and we were closing, i was sweeping the floors with this playing in my ears and it wasn’t even winter nor was it cold outside, but when i’d look outside at the heavy rain hitting the pavement, rippling the reflection of the edison bulbs we keep right by the window, it made me feel so cozy and at peace .

I really love winter and don't mind the cold. I like taking walks nowadays at night after having a peculiar experience. I had a night out with a couple friends and the phone turned itself off because of the cold(?). I didn't where I was supposed to go because I was taking the night bus and was following a GPS on my phone over a bridge of a highway. I literally had to guess where the bus would arrive and was a little stressed because the place was literally empty, but when I noticed how the snow was visibly falling aesthetically under the streetlights really calmed me down. I somehow got home hours later but that experience really mesmerized within me, and I doubt I will never forget it.

It’s already April. I remember my English teacher playing this during class days before winter break began. This music helps me so much when I study or just do stuff around the house!
i had a friend in middle school who went through a rough breakup and to cope made her basement bedroom into christmas for five months. she cut snowflakes and put them up on her ceiling, decorated a christmas tree, baked cookies. she only had this dinky little tv and one dvd so we would watch elf on repeat for days and days and days. i love her. i miss her. i hope somehow she knows that.

i had a friend in middle school who went through a rough breakup and to cope made her basement bedroom into christmas for five months. she cut snowflakes and put them up on her ceiling, decorated a christmas tree, baked cookies. she only had this dinky little tv and one dvd so we would watch elf on repeat for days and days and days. i love her. i miss her. i hope somehow she knows that.
