A Wisconsin man stands trial for allegedly murdering and dismembering his parents without remorse, and providing false information on their disappearances. Chandler Michael Halderson, 23, faces charges including first-degree intentional homicide. Remains from his father Bart Halderson, 50, and mother Krista Halderson, 53, were found days apart, authorities said.
Defendant Halderson reported his parents missing July 7th, claiming they left their home in the Village of Windsor days before on the 1st. He told WISC-TV at the time that they were going to the village of White Lake, Wisconsin.
“My last message I got from them, they were going to White Lake for the Fourth of July,” he told “There are some festivities that go around there. Better drink prices at the bars. Stuff like that.”
He said that to his knowledge, they were then going to their cabin in Langlade County.
“Along the way, they could’ve stopped many places,” he said. “I wouldn’t know all of them.”
He was allegedly just feeding everyone lies.
Bart’s torso was found in rural Dane County, while remains from Krista were found in Sauk County and property run by the Department of Natural Resources, according to court documents obtained by The Wisconsin State Journal.
Their son had been searching Google for terms like “Body found Wisconsin,” “Woman’s body found in Wisconsin,” “Wisconsin dismembered body found,” and “Dead body found in Wisconsin,” authorities said. Investigators suggested Chandler Halderson used to a visit to property belonging to the partner of his girlfriend’s mother as cover to hide his father’s torso nearby. He had shot Bart Halderson at least once before dismembering him, officials said.
According to investigators, Halderson said after his arrest that “you don’t know the whole story,” and that he “didn’t feel bad about what I did.”

I love when the judge says “it is received “ he sounds so happy about it
Right! lol I love this judge
That was my favorite part too! I love this judge ❤
He’s making good money lol
the people of this town should be happy to know their police and investigators are extremely competent and good at their job

Anyone else get sad looking at photos of their home and thinking about Bart and Krista? There have been a few times they have reminded me of my own parents and it has made me sick to my stomach
Yes I too get sad at the situation, it’s just senseless and cold hearted!
Yes Mariah Im sure many of us do, This was a brutal betrayal on all levels by an entitled son in not “ owning” his lies and deception over a few years and got caught out.
Only a narcissistic, entitled coward would do what he did and think he could get away with it.
Take a little time away from this trial, go smell some roses and emotionally regroup… does wonders for your mind, body and soul 🙏
Blessings~
Indeed! Many similarities with Krista & I. I was tougher on discipline though!
@@cristineconnell7803 Yeah, my parents disciplined way more but not in a bad way. I work full time but live with my parents as they are both disabled and don't drive and need help. They are a few years older than Krista and Bart but they are the same in they love to garden together in the summer, our home is always ALWAYS clean, we always have a dog. It just is unfathomable to me.
Yes😢
The amount of evidence against the defendant is overwhelming.
Exactly, at some point you'd think he'd tell his lawyers to change he plea to guilty. I guess being a psychopath he still thinks he is going to outsmart everyone somehow.
@@davidmartin2442 there’s really no benefit to a plea in this case. I don’t know if the state offered any due to all the evidence.
The only plea I could logically think of would be in exchange for information on the location of the other ( forgive me for being blunt) body parts of his parents. So that they might be able to be properly laid to rest
Facts bro
@@davidmartin2442 Right he might have been able to get a lesser charge or sentence. He doesn't even put up a defense here. And he doesn't take the stand in his own defense. He had to see what was coming. Maybe they refused to accept a plea at a certain point??
I like this judge very much. He has control of the courtroom and shows respect for the power he wields. He's pleasant, courteous, highly intelligent, articulate, and kind. I'd like to see him in another trial.
Ok..
Me too. He's very personable
The trial is extremely smooth! There is no defense can put out! Prosecutor team did a great job laying out the case!!
The defendant did a lot to help them by being so bad at hiding his crime lol
Also, my guess is that he is in some serious, denial, or other kind of defense mechanism, and they probably haven’t seen any humanity to defend!
This judge's voice is so soothing. He should be a narrator
The officer in the beginning is amazing and I’m glad that this world has skilled officers such as him.
The good ones are so good. Dedicated. The things they have to see...
The Deputy is professional and articulate. He does a great job of describing the evidence.
This whole department is extremely thorough, and professional! Can’t say I’ve seen any department be like this in any trial I’ve seen.
Ok..
This judge is a sweetheart ❤ so personable .
Love his bow ties.
He is 180o different from the judge that Rottenhouse OWNED.
@@DISGUYROX you only care about the judge because you disagree with him. If Rittenhouse was found guilty (which wouldn't and shouldn't have happened) then you'd love the judge. Dont let personal bias get in the way. Someone like you should never work in justice. A ruling is a ruling, deal with it buttercup. Have any evidence to back up your claim? Doubt it
I like his voice. He should speak for documentaries :-)
@@BR-it2qewho is Rittenhouse please ?

Dep Leatherberry is fantastic! Extremely articulate and knowledgable, and very sharp in terms of the investigation and collection of evidence!
Isn’t he precious? 🥰😜
I do like this guy.
Chandler behaved as though he was deficient somehow in comprehension, yet the more we learn, he was - or thought he was some sort of criminal mastermind, his planning of the crime, and his subsequent actions to cover himself are very chilling. Thank goodness so many good people came forward to stand up for his parents characters and their values.
The defense knows their client is guilty they are there to make sure his rights are upheld.
Yeah, they're pretty pathetic. On cross, they're like, no, your honor, we got nothing! 😂
@@cherbeatTX59 really not much they can say lmao
@@austincooper1909 still, they should TRY!! Otherwise, this leaves an opening for ineffective council. If I was him I would appeal based on this!
Even the dark haired defense attorney looks as though she's disgusted and doesn't want to be there sitting at the table with her client.
Definitely!
The defense cannot plead insanity. This was meticulously planned and premeditated.
Absolutely! As soon as his father told him he had been in touch with his supposed employer & the college that was it . Chandler freaked and decided to kill his kind nurturing loving parents . Instead of owning up to his lies and get some help for his lies ; he did the unthinkable. With his own hands ! I mean my lord !!! This is heinous
Yes. It was.
Insane people still cover their tracks, Lori Vallow was ruled unfit and she was going to great lengths to hide her crimes. But he's definitely not insane, just selfish.
His parents provided free shelter/food/video games since he was in college, but now his dad just found out he'd been lying about college for 3 years. All of his toys would be taken back, including his Xbox he loved & his cell phone he needed to talk to his girlfriend. He prob thought his girl would dump him too.
@@AliceA333 When was Vallow’s mental stability exam released? Thought she was still being evaluated at inpatient facility.
I would not use the word meticulous. Evidence everywhere
They can show us the ax but not the bow saw?? This kid is guilty. He had a such a hard life of playing video games, and had a nice house, car and nice parents supporting him and he killed his poor parents. He needs to go to jail for ever.
DEATH Penalty, howver, WISCONSIN does not have the CHAIR!!!! Pitiful and so SAD!!! This Case is Similar to the GUY JR TRIAl!!! Chris Watts in Colorado Strangled his Widw and put the Children in huge OUL TANKS!!!!!
This guy is like a evidence gathering machine. I'm starting to get suspicious that he's a robot dressed up like a human lol he's very precise and professional.
And Chandler is an evidence producing machine.
Dep. Leatherberry did a great job investigating and collecting the evidence!👍 He’s really smart!
He is Tackleberry's brother, you know, ? from the Police Academy movies, his other brother from another mother.
Who takes the murder weapons.. and hides them 1. In your own home, 2. At the property of an acquaintance you were just at, 3. At locations you are known to frequent. I just can't understand his thought process. He took his Mama out to the creekside, why not toss the axe, firearm, magazines, ect ect into some water. This kid left a literal train behind him.
Familiarity with the area makes it a more comfortable environment to be in, he knows who to expect to be there/not be there, where to go, as far as Cres’s property goes he had an, albeit weak, excuse to be there. Perhaps he didn’t know of any remote/abandoned/unoccupied places to dump the parts and not risk being seen in a place where it’d be abnormal to see someone or where he himself clearly did not belong. I think he was so preoccupied and unprepared that he forgot or didn’t think to hide his location on Snapchat.I think he expected the parts to burn more easily/quickly than they did and he could reduce it all to ash that would be easy to disposed of. Most of all I think he was realizing as he worked away and too late at that that this was a massive undertaking and there were multiple complicating factors that he underestimated or had never considered at all. I don’t think he expected police to be as conscientious as they were, and thought they’d be more believing of his story and direct there efforts at looking for the parents and this mystery couple on traffic cams or store surveillance in areas all the way up to and beyond the camp. I think he was also quite exhausted and stressed by the amount of work it was taking and having to keep track of all the evidence he had to destroy or conceal, and of course needing to come up with a plausible explanation for things that were out the ordinary/suspicious. It’s likely that he ran out of time and had to do a lot of things with little thought put into it but just hoped for the best. He didn’t expect cat’s mom to be so suspicious of him or for her and cres to notice him not near the pool and then go looking for him, which ultimately led to the discovery of one of his dumping grounds.
He is below average intelligence.
Maybe he wanted to get caught
I've been wondering the same thing!! Why go through all the traumatic work of dismembering your own parents only to dump them on your girlfriends property where her parents saw you there?!?! What the literal f*** was he thinking?! There are thousands of acres of forest in Wisconsin. He could have buried the weapon in a deep hole under brush when the water was low (so you couldn't see dig marks) and then randomly scattered his parents remains a state away deep into the forest and they at least wouldn't have been found for a long time. Don't take your phone with you so you can't be tracked. And he even texted from his moms phone inside his house! That how to get away with murder 101. Never have the phone with you! I'm happy he didn't get away with it but its painful how bad he was at it. Lol
@@13ritneyannehe wanted to frame his girlfriends moms partner for the crime. That has to be the reason for it. I can’t see any other reason for purposely leaving the murder weapons on the same property that he left the “body” on. Idk if he had some sort of bad relationship with them or what it was but there is no way that wasn’t his thought process. But I’m thinking that he was experiencing extreme lack of sleep and possible exhaustion induced mania. He definitely wasn’t thinking clearly. He also thought that he had a good understanding of what police were capable of but clearly didn’t. He told the neighbour that they won’t be able to access his dad’s computer because it had serious safety features, he thought that as long as he turned off his moms phone and wrapped it in aluminum foil then they wouldn’t be able to access its recent locations not knowing that they were able to ping it from the last message it sent out (which obviously showed that he sent it from his house but acted like she texted him from up at the cabin), he said they can’t get a warrant for call logs and gps tracking if a phone unless someone dies. All these things are him thinking that he knows everything which ultimately lead to his easy capture.
This horrific tragedy is particularly poignant considering the closeknit state of a family triangle. Merciless cruelty inflicted on wellmeaning parents who in their dying moments must have been asking... WHY???
I pray the gutless coward shot them from behind and passed over quickly… so they had no time to think “why” or see who was killing them. I believe this county/state got rid of the Death Penalty in recent past years … if that’s true - pity!
In my opinion I believe the father after being initially shot turned around to see who it was. I honestly think he thought it must be an intruder or something. And when he turned around and saw his youngest son , he had a brief moment disbelief and shock. Maybe he even I tried to speak to Chandler but then he was shot in the neck area and chandler maybe intended to keep him from making any noise. Iam very curious to know if any of the neighbors or anyone in the area heard any sounds like a gun shot ?

I'm not sure he was privileged.. he was blessed to have loving parents that busted their asses to provide a home and safety for their kids. Privileged is when you have all you want/need without having to earn it.. and his parents were attempting to make sure he also earned it.. but he was too lazy to he murdered them.

I have to say this is the first trial I've watched where the defense has made virtually no attempt to defend. Even in the most obviously guilty trials, the defense is usually up and down like yoyos.
Agreed! I keep yelling out objections that Defense could very well be making! Lots of leading, speculation, foundation. Maybe the judge is weird about objections, idk.
It's weird isn't it? They never object or anything!
Like what? They worked to the best with the little they had.
@@nancyjones6780-- The lead defense attorney does, in fact, object now and then.
Get that detective a jug of water to sip on!
It drove me crazy listening to that.
He needs to take a drink of water or something because that sound that he makes when he speaks is driving me nuts!!!!
I thought i was the only 1!
It’s killing me 😅 I had to take my headphones off to be able to slightly tolerate it lol
This POS couldn’t even provide his own equipment and cleaning supplies. He needed mommy and daddy to personally buy all the items he would eventually utilize to hack them into pieces.
Also his delusional confidence combined with ineptitude is nauseating.
I honestly feel sorry for the defense lawyers in this case. They seem like fantastic lawyers that got stuck representing a complete psychopath.
Feel thesame, they ask insightful questions and I think they are doing there best to defend the defenseless.
Examples they only cross examine interesting witnesses!
They really don't have much to work with at all. They must be sitting there listening to the evidence and knowing their client is doomed.
It’s especially difficult when your client refuses to participate in their defense at all. He is literally the laziest and most entitled person I’ve ever heard of in my life.
I'm watching and often think, his lawyers are letting mostly everything go bc they want him fully charged 😅
Chandler is so dazed, he just sat there doodling as the pathetic details of his reality were revealed to the world. One final failure to seal his fate.
The one thing that this guy could've done was admit to what he did. Allow his parents to rest in peace and not force his family to go through this mess. I would do anything to have my mom back and this guy just disposed of his parents like they were trash!
Exactly! I lost my mom to cancer when she was only 63. I would love to have had her live to see her great grand children, and great great grandchildren. She missed so much, and we have missed her so much having lost her!
Just looking at the axe creeps me out. This is such a horrendous and heartbreaking case.
Joel Guy looked disturbed, but Chandler looked like an average guy, who had a pretty girl friend and seemed to be living a normal life. Then at some point along the way, he became perversely adverse to growing up and cutting the apron strings.
So he moved to La La Land and became a looney toon.
I don’t know if he lost his sanity before he became a dangerous liar or if he became a liar and then lost his sanity when his dad found him out.
I so wish Bart had secretly done the checking up on Chandler’s fantasy life before tipping his hand. Maybe with a court order to have him committed if that’s even possible, then maybe he and Krista would still be alive. Such a sad thing for Mitchell, Cat and all who are devastated by the couple’s murder.😔
RIP Bart and Krista🙏🏼 You didn’t deserve this.
Narcs don’t benefit from therapy. They just learn to manipulate the therapist and how to better develop their craft and mirror.
Chandler exhibits a lot of psychopathic tendencies.
No, its not possible...not a court in the country would commit him unless Bart could prove he was a grave harm to himself and/or others. You can lie about what you do for a living, and where and if you go to college, to anyone anywhere anytime and you will not be psychiatrically committed. I wish Bart would've stopped playing head games with him. Pretending they had a "meeting" with the college when he already knew his son did go there. He should've said, "I found out you're not going to school and didn't have an insurance job. Though I am upset I'd like you to know we will get past this as a family. It's OK if you don't know exactly what you want to do yet at 23. I still love you as much as Mitch and always will fancy spacex job or not. I'm sorry I pried into your life, but I had to know the truth. Come talk to me whenever you feel better and we can talk about what we can do going forward. I hear Walmart/target/etc is hiring and I think you could start turning thing around by putting an application in there. I love you." Not, "I'm ready when you are (to continue this charade)".
@Monica .22LR therapy is pretty effective for both narcs and ch0m0s.
They call it ‘Failure to Launch’ - that was his problem
With a name like “Leatherberry” you’re basically destined to be a cop lol
I don't know why he didn't plead guilty? How can he sit through the gory details HE caused. He is a monster.
I would be freaked out to have to sit by a man who kills and dismembers his parents.
You know, honestly, there is a lot of evidence against him. But, for a crime scene that must have been incredibly brutal, he did a decent job of cleaning it up. I would have expected to see a lot more blood evidence.
What are all 3 of the gals at the defense table doing on their laptops the whole time? I don't think any of them are paying attention, curious what they need to be on the computer for
I've decided that they're answering emails and watching RUclips!
The attornies are very definitely paying attention to everything that is being said. The lead attorney makes an objection now and then. They are looking at the exhibits and pissibly making notes.
Despite the horrific evidence of this crime, everyone did a great job holding their composure. I wonder what was running through the minds of the defense team... especially the young intern sitting to the left of Chandler.
Did they use a kodak instamatic camera in evidence collection? Someone tell them about digital cameras. Wow.
Most will not use digital that can be edited.
I know. Absolutely horrible
It’s prob a print out of the digital pics to show the jury
This man like many of the witnesses are smart and articulate in testifying. Seems like a very mild mannered community. Tragic! RIP, Bart and Krista!
I can’t imagine this guy thinking he would get away with this and just move on as though nothing happened 🤦🏼♀️
This all because he was too lazy to work for something in his life and that’s the truth of the matter. So sad!

It’s like the defence is actually helping the prosecution. It’s all helping to give the trial that game show feel especially the occasional “it is received” comment thrown in from the judge albeit he is excellent.
11:56 Prosecution says the axe is "kinda hidden behind some boards", the Police Officer says: "I wouldn't say hidden", the Defence says....nothing...?
According to the defense, someone else could have killed them and even implying that the gunshots were self-inflicted. If they base it on that scenario, it really does not matter where the murder weapons or tools of dismemberment were (hidden), because it was not Chandler who put them there.
Looks like there’s plenty of evidence against ole Chaz!

There's a certain kind of evil that can do that sort of thing. My channel covers true crime and we've covered family annihilator. before but those killers used guns (though one did use a flamethrower) then fled. This guy killed his parents, grabbed an axe or whatever weapon and began cutting off body parts. And it's not like he did each limb with one hit. It had to take a long time to do it. No normal or good person can do that kind of thing.

Although it was annoying during the McMichel/Bryan trial having the jury constantly leave the room at least we got to hear the arguments. I'd love to know what some of the defence arguments are.
There really isn't anything for them to work with what a waste of time and money he is so guilty 😳
@@sherryshirley3179 …. I’m hearing you…. however, Law has it that he’s to be judged by twelve. I believe the death penalty was abolished a few years back in this county/state so there would be no wiggle room for a plea deal, just an automatic life sentence. Rather than pleading guilty, that carries a life sentence … Defence had nothing to lose by going to trial in hope that there is one juror that feels sorry for this pos thus reducing the “life” sentence .. not gunna happen!
There is none.
It seems that there aren't any arguments that the defense makes!
Somebody had too much time on their hands 😒
Or four too many hands on his time........
Quite a horrific case.
The blood stain pattern at 44:05 (exhibit 243), looks like a hand print. If the 4 fingers (but the evidence markers in this case only have 3 spots marked) were oriented towards the fireplace and them thumb "print"/mark is to the left (if it was a right hand-print) or to the right (if it was a left hand-print). So if he was cleaning there, on his hands and knees, it's quite a perfect fit, if there was blood on his fingers or fingertips...
I’m really curious as to the defense’s theory of explaining all this away. Are they going to blame Mitch, or Cat?
I was half expecting them to use the "head injury" as a defense 😂
@@veesea8889 anything they could throw at the wall and TRY to make stick.
Kinda funny you should ask this question, because I saw a comment on another video of this case that had a plausible argument for the suggestion that he was going to try and pin the murders on Cat.
He must have been friends with Joel Guy Jr. How can they do this to their own parents. Why...
Because they are both textbook Psychopaths, whose brains are wired differently from the vast majority of other human beings.
Eg: They have ZERO empathy for others

I wonder if murderers watch their trial like how people who already read the book watch the movie adaptation. The main parts of the story are the same but how they get to the end might be slightly different.

So I’m curious. As a lawyer that defends someone like this - where the evidence is so damning - do you think they actually want their client to go free? Like do you think they actually want to win the case? I’m genuinely curious.
Nope, with this amount of evidence and most likely lack of cooperation from their "client" assigned directly to them; I'm sure they want him sent to prison.

What do you mean?
Why was a rope around the torso??🤯😭😭😭😭😭😭
To drag it, I would think….
To drag it probably. Because good old Chandler had a neck injury, right?
Busted by the yellow duct tape!
Where did he do all this dismembering?
In the house and garage..that's why he bought another tarp!
What horrible pictures. Were these taken with a camera? I can’t imagine a camera taking pictures this poor. They’re faded and too dark to even see in a lot of them. You would think for something this important they would use a decent working Camera.
Omg....the axe😢😢😢😢🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭
Putting myself in the shoes of the defense team, I just feel chills thinking of what it must be like to sit next to him while absorbing all of the evidence.
Was he even trying to get away with this? For a “smart” kid, he wasn’t very smart.
I don't understand why cutting his parents. Why?
Greg needs to go to Emergency STAT. He's gotta wheel around a saline IV for a week or two. Serious dehydration.
EXACLY!! So annoying!!
Hahaha I was thinking the same! Man drink that water. It reminded me of Jim Carrey in me myself and Irene.
I think that’s his false teeth
I was wanting to give the poor guy some Gatorade gum. It sucks when nerves gives someone cottonmouth. Both for the talker and listener.
@@patriciatibi7115 oh yeah, it could be! I didn't think of that... poor guy, he needs better Fixodent 😢
Imagine giving birth to and raising your murderer. Disturbing the number of patricides in the states.
This isn’t a who done it , without a reasonable doubt…oh yeah ! Great job Prosecution !
Kudos to DeP.GREG....HE IS AWESOME 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯💯💯💯💯🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
that’s a real life ax that he used to use for pleasure…def was not trying to defend himself, gives a whole diff vibe when holding it out like that
I’m just watching this a year later, just cannot believe what’s involved in an investigation! Is it just this police dept or all of them, because there are some very minimal things that pics taken, etc, how detailed they are! I’m just really surprised the gun was not found in the 2 or 3 searches of the barn, then found in October?!? Chandler could not have put that there cuz he was in jail so who did? I cannot believe the police missed it & don’t think Cat would put something like that in her moms property. Hmmm. I cannot fathom how Chandler would think killing his parents was the answer but then to go as far as cutting them up, handling all the parts to try and hide them is just so sick, horrifically horrible. Sure feel for the brother, wow, how to mentally handle that his little brother did that. 💔
Most likely, Chandler put the gun in the barn and it was missed in the search.
Just curious if anyone knows if he had a public defender or if he got his own attorney? He might try and appeal the verdict citing ineffective counsel as the reason?
Public defender
They aren't ineffective. The evidence is overwhelming, and there is much opportunity to object to how it is presented. He will not get a new trial because any minor error would not have changed the result.
That piece of skull seems like it has been placed there like a trophy. Also he seems to just sit through this trial, making no defence, just to relive it all. Capital punishment shouldn't always be an option but sometimes it's the only thing that seems to fit.
His lawyers doing great job well worth they're money 🙄 even they can't believe what he done to his poor parents
I mean what can they do really? The evidence is so overwhelming, all they can really hope for is a mistrial or possibly parole once he’s convicted. He’s been lying to them too and it made them look like fools on cross-examination. They can’t go by anything he says so they really have nothing to go on. I don’t feel sorry for them but I thinks they’re doing what they can without looking like insensitive dicks.
@@megmc80 definitely just through away the key on the lying little horrible creep
@@megmc80 Has anyone else notice that when Chaz passes a note to his attorney’s, they play like they don’t see the note 📝 😂😂😂
Someone slide my man some water or something his cottonmouth so bad it's got me parched
It makes me gag!!!
I do believe, by going through this process, he knows that he knows he has to be punished, to what you say is the ultimate punishment. He knows he won't win this court case. He could have taken a plea and received a lighter sentence, but chose not to. Maybe I'm wrong.
You are not very smart aye?
You are not going to be getting less than a life sentence for pleaing guilty to two murders.
A plea does not automatically mean a lower sentence. Especially when the crimes are so serious.
Everyone knows he is guilty. He is just making the prosecution do all the work and present everything. No use pleaing to a life sentence. Might as well go to trial and have the prosecution work, and have a 0.00001% chance of getting off by technicality or otherwise ( e.g. possible strange juror that doesn't want to convict).
Maybe, but can he get the death penalty by having a court case. And yes, maybe I'm not as smart as you, but I can live with it.
@@random19911004 not sure why you find it necessary to insult people 🤔
@@lindagatti7796 it's not a Death Penalty state
Geez, take a drink of water!! lol
Intelligent sheriff Leatherberry!
WHY😞
If the defense team hasn’t tried to get a deal, they are guilty of malpractice because this dude is cooked🥴
Defense are going to go straight for the lack of forensic proof of him actually carrying out the killings as hinted in their opening statement, they’ll play on the “ "beyond a reasonable doubt“ rule as the evidence submitted is only showing him getting rid of the bodies, anyone could of carried out the actual killings
@@Leaveit_alone tbh I really truly think he believes the entire story that he conjured up . He won’t plead guilty because he thinks he didn’t actually kill them . He is a very sick evil person . But , I do think he is in such denial he convinced himself of his lies
@@kathypeterson13 I totally agree with you!
@@carlyates5382 … defence is trying to go for a “Jose Baez” who got Casey Anthony off.. but the prosecution has a stronger case than the State in that trial!
@@Leaveit_alone he loves all this attention!
I just dont get why this dude would sit there and relive all of the things he is supposed to have done, heinous things, when he could have just fessed up and gone into jail forever, unless he didnt do it. He did it in my opinion, the evidence is overwhelming, so why ? Is he actually enjoying himself, and thinks he can beat the law ?????
Exactly. The evidence is so overwhelming, why would he want all of his deeds aired to the public? Sicko.
@@sydludwig1826 I would hold my head in shame, but I don't think he has got any shame to bring this awful crime to open court and let all hear, and see his barbaric crimes !!! R IP to his parents may the rest quite in the knowledge they have one good son !
Most monsters have no shame and enjoy watching their work being displayed. We aren't meant to understand it. If we did, that would mean we think like them. Scary thought, right? 😬
I think he just couldn't accept the deal that was considered- Eg, he was too arrogant to accept his fate and so hoped for a miracle at trial. I've also heard that sometimes they are so used to having their lies be believed that they genuinely think they might get away with it.
@@lonelylantern9135 it really is the only way to comprehend the way he is behaving, its as if he is doing a test at school or something...
1 guys brutality gives so many people work. Crimes are strange. Gives labs, detectives, lawyers, jury, court all work!!!
I would have to say that Chandler Halderson had a zero-defense defense lawyer! What in the world is their strategy? Just saying
Looks like the defense team are playing games on the computers.
They are paying attention to the prosecution case and objecting from time to time. They do not want any evidence introduced improperly.
