Congrats for the channel and thanks for this content! I am getting ready to apply for this position soon. I've been following your channel since the first video and your content has helped me a lot to get an idea of the broadcast tech work routine onboard! Thak you so much, Vladimir!
Thanks for the feedback, Rodrigo! That's great and good to know it! Before I started working onboard, I watched the "Coffee With Sean" channel, which was also very helpful. You may have already watched his video.
@@vladiographer Yes, I watched a lot of Sean's videos and I found many good tips there. I also follow Martina from Argentina's channel. She is also broadcast tech at Royal Caribean and has a lot of information about the work on board in general. One of the things I really like about your channel, besides your great skills as a filmmaker, is that you directly show the life and work of the broadcast technician on board, even in the previous videos. Again, thank you so much and congrats for the excellent content!
Did you end up getting the position? If so how are you enjoying it? I am quite interested in applying for a similar position myself but am still quite unsure.
Thank you for this video. I always wonder how the broadcasting worked on a cruise ship. Boy, it's a lot. How many crew member is needed to run the broadcasting? It seems a lot of work for one person, I mean you. Can't wait to see more of your videos.. Thanks again Vladimir and I can't wait to cruise again..
Vlad, great video. How did you get started on a ship? I'm interested to get started myself and wondering what your background/education is? Did any of this matter for you?
Hi! I like your channel!! is very interesting, I apply for this position and I have the interview in a few days 😬, do you remember wich questions ask in the interview? thanks
Very good! I didn't think it was that amazing. It's like I'm working on land. Rs but at sea. I am very interested in working on cruise with Broadcast Technician. But there was no direction and no information about the sector inside the ship. Thanks for the help.
Just generic info - the guy who mainly work with sound equipment around the ship. The more you know about it the easier for it going to be. You suppose to have handover period with the guy who you going to replace. Hopefully he will have enough time to teach you everything. Good luck!
So I saw a job opening for this on Royal Caribbean, and I want to ask you something. Do they tain you on the spot or do you need certifications before applying for this job?
I'm broadcast operator from celebrity Cruises, and after watch this video, I can see our Broadcast room is 10 years late, hahahahaha...
True, the hardware condition can be different, on some ships it is very old.
Thanks for showing. I am so excited to begin cruising again!
Thanks for watching! Hope to meet you onboard one day)
This what I will be doing in a few weeks time lol 😀😀 good job
Good luck!)

I missed studio b because of this video. I'm part of the broadcast team before in Mariner. Before we used those huge cameras :)
Yes, they are still used on some ships. When did you leave the company?

To get this job I just had videography and editing skills. But I haven't any official degree like filming school or something like this.
Music is too loud at times.
Thanx, I'll pay more attention to the levels next time.
Do you have to do some animation while editing? Or just basic editing?
I can't remember if I worked with any animation for these episodes. It mainly were only the editing and color correction in Davinci.
Did you have to send a reel for your application? Cause I have the cappabilities, but I don't own a reel of my work.
I think a reel will be beneficial, but you can try to apply without it. Just spend some time for a good CV.
@@vladiographer what should the reel include? Can you help me
Pleas can you tell me, whats name of your serbian coleg, and can you give me him contact? TY
Can I still apply? I am a sports cameraman, but i dont know how to edit.🥲
I am not that techy.
If you're ready to learn basic editing, why not? Go ahead and good luck!
@@vladiographer will they teach /train me that once i get to go onboard?
@@ronanmendoza632 You need to have some experience already to get this job. You'll need to work straight away once you get onboard.
