  • Wrexham FC's new CEO Michael Williamson is already in Wrexham, at the ground and is already getting down to business. Appointed by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to replace the outgoing Fleur Robinson he was seen in the dressing room with Arthur Okwonko after Arthur signed a 3 year deal with Wrexham.

      Arthur was a stand out performer for Wrexham last season, he saved us so many goals and won us many games. We really needed him.

    Who said there would be planty of shirts this time? i remember they said the same thing last season, and we ended up being out of stock again.

    • @WrexhamAFCfanzone
      @WrexhamAFCfanzone  3 месяца назад +3

      It was in the minutes and you can't pre-order the new shirt, I asked in the shop already. Although to be fair they don't get told anything until they actually get them.
      Why wasn’t there the option to pre order shirts. FR confirmed that due to the number ordered the Club
      hoped there would be enough stock to meet the initial demand compared to previous season. However, until
      the Club reaches the ceiling of the demand it is always going to be a challenge to order the correct quantities.'

      @@WrexhamAFCfanzone we did had pre orders last kit, but as I remember, they said they got plenty of stock unlike 22/23 season, but after preorders, as soon as the shirts arrived, they were already out of stock again.
      i think the reason they don't want pre-orders is because once again, they don't know if they would have enough to fulfill pre orders and have stock left once they arrive.
      i think their all inventory management should be completely overhauled in my opinion.
      Also, yes, I would agree that the people at the store won't/shouldn't have much info about stock, as their stock and the website stock are separate entity, or so it should be atleast.
      on one hand being always out of stock, kind of add to the prestige of the kits, but on the other hand, it means a lot of fans need to wait longer every time for restock. question is, is it better to trickle the stock or just have high order and have everyone being able to buy it from the get go.

      The merch side of things definitely needs an overhaul in many ways! It needs adequate stock levels, shipping options overseas so people don't get ripped off with postage and a better variety of merch , and merch of higher quality. We use a company that provides personalised merch to a variety of companies and teams but the website makes it look really tacky. We need a firm to provide the merch for us in bulk and higher quality. If I can find the website of the company Wrexham FC order the merch from I will post it. I have it somewhere in my bookmarks.

      @@WrexhamAFCfanzone Hopefully Michael Williamson will make the merch issue high priority. Otherwise if the store runs short mid season, we could be treated to images of Reynolds, McElhenney, and Mr. Williamson working sewing machines in the conference room making shirts, jerseys, and Wrexham FC scarves to meet demand!😂
