very insightful speaker .. i usually combine renko with ichimoku and adjust bars for volatility( sp500 futures ) and use volume spike of traded contracts to enter and heikin to ride the trend (on multiple screens)..but i agree the markets are manipulated but if you focus on your charts ,understand geopolitical events and news from a financial perspective you start thinking like the smart money not dumb money .. I'm a momentum trader but its still advisable to learn fundamental candlestick patterns to understand charts on multi-time frames

In my opinion and experience HA is almost the same as Japanese candles sticks... But renko is far better with right setting

Hekien ashi is slow.. by the time you will come to know about the change.. it would already be in loss.
