A P0730 is set when the computer (TCM/PCM) sees a greater RPM difference between the rotational speed of the input RPM and the transmission output of the RPM sensor.
Causes include transmission mechanical failure, faulty shift solenoids, contaminated fluid, clogged filter, and bad valve body.
Possible Causes of a P0730 Code:
Low or Dirty Fluid
Clogged Filter
Transmission Failure (Pump, Planetary Gear, Solenoid)
Bad Computer (TCM/PCM)

forgot to mention tone rings i am having the limp mode problem did one tone ring it got better doing the other one now so that i can rule that out. thanks for the info
Hi i have 2003 land Rover range Rover hse when i started it i put it on drive it going no problem but if i stop under the lights qhen i have to move it not going i have to turn it of and start it again to go .what can cost that problem.thanks
