Sir u said left PCA territory involvement only cause splenial lesion,thats why alexia without agraphia...but my doubt is splenium supplied by peeicallosal artery from ACA and both PCA... Even if there is a lesion in Lt PCA, compensation from pericallosal artery and Rt. PCA know sir... Then there can be transfer of information from Rt. Occipital cortex to left cortex, then how it can cause alexia... Plz clarify my doubt sir...

very good question. If Splenium of cc can be adequately compensated by other arteries then alexia with out agraphia may not occur
