Would love to see a reaction to "Evilon - A Warrior's Way"😃🤘They play epic folk/viking metal
I do think they have evolved to be super complicated and futuristic, their older records I do prefer, they have more structure. I love how ridiculously mental the newer stuff is. Still love it.
Some Tracks left you confused , after a first listen. Jiluka needs multiple listens at least IMO. Venom is on repeat , and I find more and more litte Things i really love about this Track. Other Songs have done this for me as well. Mindset from Gacharic Spin left me totally confused. Now it is one of my favorite Tracks to get into a good Mood . Sorry for my English , I am German.
As always, I love your reactions to Jiluka 😀 Of all the reactors out there, it's you that I enjoy the most. Maybe because you can't stay away from Jiluka even though you find them too chaotic. This made my day. Thank you 👍
Feels like lorna shore meets blood stain child. Certainly fun to listen to once, but it feels like there were several parts that were added just because they could rather than those parts adding anything to the song besides quirkiness. To be fair, I feel that same thing about a lot of the most proggy bands. Who knows, maybe listening to it a few more times makes it feel more natural.
So - I watched this video right when it came out but didn't comment. I wasn't sure what to write, to be honest. Came back to it today, listened again and it sort of made more sense to me this time. In a sense I guess I was in a better mood for this kind of complexity, or something. Or this kind of chaos, if one prefers to call it as such. That said, I still wouldn't say this is something I'll listen to daily - but I can definitely appreciate what they're doing.
Nothing like a relentless pummelling.
I enjoy these guys.
If I did pc recording instead of my clunky multi-track I'd probably mix things up...
Don't think I've done a rap, definitely not a dubstep breakdown.
Maybe I need to.
So far Suzaku is the only one that really worked completely for me. The only instrument I could clearly make out was the drums, even the twiddly guitar bits were buried.
But it did have that classic "Jiluka Breakdown®"
This is yet another example of that eclectic , multi-flavoured hot pot that is Japanese metal. I tried hard (really hard ) to like Dir En Grey a few years ago and while I don't dislike them, I will rarely listen to an entire Dir En Grey album these days. ( I did buy three or four) I feel the same way about this song but I'm much less familiar with this band. Cheers Hedgy.
Lots of technical gadgets. I have got some difficulties with that. Certainly a freaking lot of energy.
Jiluka "Bleghnom" dehumanizing in 2077 🤟🎌
