So glad I grew up in the 80s. This is what FM radio used to sound like. Miss the days when a Kramer and marshall stack ruled the world.
Tommy is an absolute savage on the kit. Insane
Ikr
I was there! From the USSR with love!)))
Crue Heads have no borders or barriers
Mick Mars is a solid guitar player. From a very thin sounding mix he stands out as the musical anchor of Motley Crue. Mass respect to Mick!!
I think the studio really did a disservice to Micks ability to say the least
Mick is a power house !
I Totally agree with you
Mick is explosive!
Yep. You know what? Through all the chaos and I literally mean through all of it, he's just always been so fuckin solid. The entire time. Doesn't change.
Man do I miss the 80's...
25:09 best part of the show!! The Crüe have balls!!
20:55 no more vodka
FANTÁSTICO 💯💥 SIEMPRE MOTLEY CRUE!!
Mick Mars has a real cool awesome smoke mirror Kramer electric guitar.
Goddamned man.... the lives these 4 dudes have lived.
Simply legendary.
Esto es metal...los mejores conciertazo..
7:40 aparently this cameraman dont know what a guitar is
At least we have a long shot of the Sixx.
That's the editors job, dumbass.
video editor
I was thinking the exact same thing!
😂😂
20:54 what did i just see?
On a behalf of the people of Russian i'd like to say - we don't know
it's drunk Russians) I can see them every weekends in my country)
Russians...
OMG !
typical day in russia
Mick Mars such an underrated guitar player he handles all the rhythm and lead playing no problem. Love his telecaster shaped mirror guitar.
He sure looks like Alice Cooper in this vid. He's a great rock guitarist!
To be honest the 80's hair bands tended to have lightening lead players... Crue were an exception
Singing about the dark side of Los Angeles in Communist Russia. Isn't it cool?
I live in Moscow. I started to listen Motley Crue a year earlier on schooldays and I'm Crue fan since those days. But damn! All that August I was at hospital. (That was when I first faced my desese. The same as Mick's, believe it or not...Coincidence) Anyways, I play guitar and I'm the biggest fan of Mick Mars. His guitar riffs make the groove, in my opinion. Thanks for uploading! Great pleasure to see and hear and to read comments
Coincidence
I hope you get to meet Mick. I honestly do.
That is cool but why are they playing at daytime?
Mick Mars is one of the most underrated shredders ever.
Ikr he’s killer
There's always that he's "underrated" guy.
What compels that response?
It's always on the best.
I suppose Neil Peart was the most underrated drummer ever.
That truth , a talent of his time
Sounds cliche and I might be getting older, but damn... those were good times. I miss you 1989.
They definitely were
yes. i was 2 years old. and the mcdonalds used to have giant characters of hamburger men i used to play on. thats gone. now theyre all fancy and modern
If Mick Mars came out in that vest today heads would explode. LOL! There was even a confederate flag in the crowd in the, now former, Soviet Union. LOL!
Well you know how the PC SJWs Alphabet people are. They still might come after him after 20 or. 30 years later like they been doing to people
You mean multiple confederate flags. Crazy! Where do you even buy them in the Soviet Union?
Snowflake heads are exploding lol 🤣🤣🤣
Mick Mars is just a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan.
The confederate flag speaks for itself.
This one is for MICK..... Loud, proud and in your face!!! Take care brotha, I know your pain man, I have the very same bone disease and it eats at ya from the inside of the bones and outward!! I am sooooooo glad to hear that you had the surgeries, hopefully you are doing better in 2020 with your personal Tour, and with a little luck you guys will be back on the road in 2021and throwing down the crüe of old and new!!!! Stay loud and proud dude!!!! Peace, luv and green beans!!🤘🏼
He’s a absolute beast on guitar I love him
Can we just appreciate the fact that this was their 1st ever gig drug & alcohol free.
It was more raw with alcohol!
That explains why they sound so good here
🙄😒😑
No vodka???
yeah right 😂
Nothing fancy. Just pure in your face rock n roll with solid driving riffs. love it!
We need that in your face rock n roll , now a days ....
Watching this at 7:00 am, 60 years old wishing I had the energy to dance to this like I did in the 90’s!!
It just makes you want to move!!😺
You can age is only a mindset
Just look at it this way, now the guys in Motley Crue are all old now too and can't move around like they used to back then either.
Miss being 15!
26:39 Demi Moore
Also, Tommy was too smooth with his drumstick twirls!
Back when you needed a helicopter for aerial shots.
Still do, just a smaller one
20:54 ... Wtf is going on there 😂😂😂 wtf was that???
Muy bueno...Felicitaciones
Perfect example of how a rock solid rhythm guitar player can keep your set from going off the rails. Mick is a mountain here.
Right around 13:12 I am reminded of why I really miss the 80s.....
XD
Is that when u thought u were cool?
@@SatansSimgma HA!😆
20:57 too much vodka
11:50 Mick does his own Eruption-esque Solo 🤘🏼
Respect to Mötley Crüe for this show. They nailed it.
But his voice sounded great
Awesome video and quality. Funny how the cameraman or director thought at 7:40 that Nikki was doing the guitar solo, lol
I love how they showed Vince warming up his voice
11:45 solo mars awesome🤯🤯
7:41 Nikki nailed that solo
Whoever filmes this could not differentiate between a guitar and a bass
You can sort of hear his bass.
SOY FAN SALUDOS DESDE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO 🇲🇽🤘🎸✌🍻
YEAAH YEAAH YEAAH
Mick’s guitar riffs are the foundation of the band.
Vince was amazing and had the looks and that surfer boy good looks! His voice was so solid and unique! God I miss the 80's please come back and let live you again!! 🙌🔥🤘😎🤘🔥🙌
@@ivanivanov3621
Russian humor....
Well played Ivan.
THANKYOU.
20:57 not sure that's what they meant by smokin' in the boys room lol
What the fuck were these dudes doin? Musta been on some shit
Motley is at there peak in 89 Vince sounds great Tommy a beast on kit Mick is playing amazing Nikki is bang on
Oh man.... thank God for RUclips.... Crüe at their finest... so much better than the shit out today
When it comes to rock and roll nothing compares to the 70's and 80's
The boys just came out of rehab and were very serious about their performance and image. They really wanted to get this right and they did just that!
You can tell they're much more coherent and seem to know what they're doing vs their 83 performance on the US festival
Those were hopefull optimistic times. The fall of the Wall and the CCCP. The people were sooo hungry for Rock n' Roll.
Mick Mars with a Confederate flag on his back..and yes in 2020 its considered racist...no it was used by many bands and people for representing..a rebel..that's it.
It's racist to take a fucken shit in the morning now I'm sure some snowflake cunt would be offended by it
That flag was commonplace among rockers in the 80s and 90s, even the most PC grunge acts. Dimebag was famous for having it on his guitar. Even British acts like Primal Scream used it on album covers.
studio7 sorry but it represented white supremacy over all other races.
And how about General Lee Dodge Challengers??I can see 2 perfect replicas here in Budapest(Hungary).Just here in middle europe.!
Very well put.
When you enjoy a concert... No cell phones...
no politics,no PC,No Feminism,no BLM,only Rock n Roll in his prime the golden age,the 80s
The Soviet Union just collapsed
Motley Crue: Shout at the devil!
The Crue was hot that night.
They never failed to rock.
Crue was sober, angry and on point. This was amazing. I remember listening to the playback on the radio (San Diego 101.5) hoping to hear something from the "new" album which was to be Dr. Feelgood. Pure energy. All 4 at their best
I was there exactly on 13 August.
Mick Mars is a total RIFF MASTER!!! The guys awesome!
I remember watching this live! My favorite band as a kid. First band I ever saw in concert.
I never experienced the 80s as I was too young to remember alot. Suffice to say. I wish I had been a bit older to experience the 80s and Motley Crue
And I must be as old as dirt, Lol, I grew up in Los Angeles and remember when Motley first came out
I totally feel the same!!!!! I was born in 84, but wish I was born in 1960 so I could’ve experienced the rock and metal scene of the 80’s.
Born early 60s. By the time the 80s came around I was perfect for Crue. A 20yr old Marine getting pumped! The hook in Shout had me hooked.
That guitar solo by Mick Mars is so sick. I watched it 4x. When people talk about great guitarists, Mick's name is ALWAYS brought up. 👍
Saw them in Sydney at the, now demolished, Sydney entertainment centre. It was May 1990. I'll never forget it. I still have my ticket stubs. 😎
Motley in there prime! Vince singing all lyrics mick slashing Tommy banging and Niki sealing it all. Motley was and are the 80's rock gods!
🎸🎸🎸🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🎸🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍👍👍 mi banda preferida hasta que deje de respirar.-
For a three-piece band, they nailed it! They sound so full and every sonic element is in exactly the right place. Congratulations to whoever figured this formula out.
1:00 when you stub your toe in the middle of the night....
Who else missing live shows in 2020? 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽😈
Love Crue’s punk rock boy band vibe, but ya gonna respect Mick Mars who took this band to another musical level. He is definitely not Eddie Van Halen, but dude really knows what is he doing...Those fucking riffs and shuffle swing grooves, man....those are the gem cores of music. No wonder, Mick is huge Bloomfield fan
cracks me up at 7:40 how micks playing solo while the whole time the cameraman zooming in on Nikki playing bass. Obviously camera man knows nothing about guitars or who plays solos in bands !! LMAO 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
What's up with the kid @26:12 on the left. He is just 😑😑😑😑😑
In 1989 I was pregnant with my 30 year old born in March of 1990. I knew Motley Crue on Radio but during this time, I was into Stevie Ray Vaughn. Now I sit in a covid summer at almost 59 years old. I miss my big Rock Star hair and this fashion look that I wore well! Saw Tommy recently do a jam with the Red Rock Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony.
Russians are good people, no wonder they were loving the Crue,Mick Mars is so good🤘🔥
It’s the politicians over there that just are downright evil. The people are good over there
Such great video and audio. Those Russians were lucky that day. Izzy, Crue, Skid Row, Bon Jovi. What a great show.
Cinderella
@@miti314 Scorpions , Gorky Park
That’s Donna McDaniel. Played with Toto some years later. She’s gorgeous 😘
This is how we won the cold war people, that and Gorbachev.
Cancel culture will be after Mick now for his jacket.
33:04 next was ozzy Osbourne?
7:15, the Russian Denim Army! Hehehe.
you can't even imagine how difficult and expensive it was to get a denim jacket!!! it has been worn for years very, very carefully! it was you who went and bought it, then you could only dream of it, believe me!
Great live sound, Mick's guitar sounds better than studio.
I am always amused when artists come to Russia and shout, sing with me, and here is silence because few Russian know English hahahaha, even today in 2020.
Now i see why these men sold millions and have that respect ,
Saw the Crue back in 1990, that was a bad ass show definitely!!!
The good Russians must had been shocked by that crazy, loud, tatoowed drug addicted long haired wild rock' roll maniacs.
Nice that the two ladies came on stage for backing vocals.
The members went to rehab before this so they were clean at this point. Unfortunately they fell apart in the early 90s along with other 80s bands like ratt and poison
First saw Motley Crue at the 1984 Iowa Jam. Accept, Night Ranger, Motley Crue, Ted Nugent & Ozzy Osbourne. Hell of a show.
Lol I remember this. Anti drugs anti alcohol. Yet the crue was the Only sober band there at the time.
Mick is a bad bad man, most underrated guitarist ever!
Great show!!!🤘😎😎
Motley f*cking Crüe rules
Vince Neil grew up in Compton in his early teens the way he sings on some of their songs he was influenced by black singers
Sorry but Vince grew up in Covina and went to cohs . Tommy went to rohs
