good guide, just dont advise people to unbind their crouch key... It reduces recoil by a lot on most weapons, and you are a way smaller target on certain peaks.
@@flipnshifty if you are in low elo crouching actually make it EASIER to get killed. In low elo most players don’t have good crosshair placement so they end up shooting you lower. When you crouch it gives them a better chance to headshot you since you are crouching down and into their bullets.
@@ballaplayz every pro player crouches when shooting phantom to lower recoil. Also if the enemy is aiming for your head and you crouch they miss. ever thought of that
Quick tip for the vandal:
you need to think of it as a sherif or a guardian. you need to use only the 2 first bullets, if you miss em strafe and shoot 2 more bullets.
This, I love guardian and sadly my ping is a pain to play with, so I ended up missing headshots cuz, well, ping, and I hate spraying with the guardian, but the time I played with it was good to help me with some movement mechanics and getting used to not full spray,best thing, now I use vandal like a more forgiving guardian because of the first 3 bullets accuracy

@@migswn1491 when you get high ping. go for guns with high speed. Phantom. even spec. where you can spray 5-8 bullets instead of 2 and get kills.

Im a vandal player with a low elo. My personal experience is that the bullet inaacuracy is very relatable it happens to me quite a while maybe 1 inaacuracy per game. But sometimes there's inacurate that can help you hit headshot. It mostly happens to me when im just flicking or jiggle peaking then shoot. It just funny how sometimes it can help you still.
It doesn't help it's a mistake that can encourage playing wrong

Well, yes, some stray bullets does still score a kill. But that's the point, they're stray bullets. If you want to get good, you cant only rely on fate, god, rng, and your enemy being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If you are spraying like crazy and being inaccurate and somehow it hits, you're just lucky.

That's why you have 25 bullets in a magazine. 1 bullet missing shouldn't make a huge difference if you can control your recoil.

SLOW DOWN YOUR GUN FIGHTS. 100% serious about this, majority of the time against phantoms they'll just crouch spray you, and if you take those extra milliseconds to stop, aim at their head, and put that first or second bullet thru their skull you will end up winning way more gunfights against phantom users

If someone actually brainlessly sprays with a vandal through a smoke and manages to get a kill , with the abysmal spray that gun has , AND at the same time doesnt get punished for his obvious location by bullet tracing , then so be it .It's one rng frag in a thousand. That said , i do tend to tap on head level crosshair on smokes .That combined with counter-strafing can really get you some nasty frags. Still , not reliable enough to be smthing to force.
Okay so the tips are :
- Don't spray cause it's innacurate
- Learn to counter straff
- Position well
If you're not a new player this video doesn't have a huge interest

@@flipnshifty Its good to unbind crouch UNTIL you remove the habit. Crouch has its uses but you need to get rid of the crouch habit first

dude im not a new player and just realized the correct way to counter strafe.
Coming from CS-GO , playing M4 almost exclusively instead of the AK , i would guess that phantom would be my weapon of choice on Valorant. It wasnt , i went for Vandal . I just cant touch the phantom . I m all about tapping than spraying , although i do know than the phantom would probably make my life a lot easier.
Same, I play alot more efficient with phantom, but just can't use it over vandal, I hope that eventually I become good enough and the 'handicap' helps me develop better aim.
I prefer using Phantom honestly. The first headshot is better, and I find when I do spray I end up getting the kill. Also no tracers on the gun really helps especially when I play viper (Which I play most of the time anyways.) Overall in my opinion a better gun.
My experience with ranked in valorant is this:
I am a solo que player. I have always considered myself to be a decent player, yet i was always stuck at low rank. I always blamed my teammates. And then i started working on my own game, and once i began practicing my aim, my lineups and util usage I stopped caring if my teammates did bad, because every game was quite literally a chance to just get better at the game. And once i changed my mentality is when i started climbing. I am now sitting in diamond and the biggest difference I see is my team is mentally competitive every round. even when we are down 9-1 my team is still trying and locked in. Keep calm and keep playing and you’ll climb boys
I always tell people to treat competitive a little less serious because it makes people stiff imo, just have a fun and while your you know doing what you need to do communicating, utility usage etc. don't be scared to loose that's imo what really stops people from climbing.
This is a good mentality but unless you're playing a ton of comp it won't matter if your teammates are dog shit, afk, etc when you lose 15 RR despite being match MVP because you can't ace every round.

6 shot burst is most close to a spray. But I would say 4 bullet spray is the most accurate. Dont fire more than 6 bullets at once.
In ranks like gold if u counter strafe the enemy just hits u while full spraying it is so common

I’ve been hard stuck silver 3/gold 1 and honestly every time I use phantom I choke and the vandal is definitely my strong suit I can never get kills with the phantom for some reason

Bro all I'm asking for is nice teammates,I don't want teammates who keep screaming at me when I "steal" their kills,keep asking me to do lineups when I already know what to do and they're just distracting me,and they don't entry frag even if they're a duelist,and of course dying early on in the game and raging at me if I don't clutch the round(I'm not saying my teammates are holding me back I just don't want them to spoil my mood lmao)

Both weapons are great, the vandal for 1 tapping, the phantom for close combat

You should ALWAYS SPRAY smoke regardless of the gun you have.

fun fact to counterstrafe in valorant you dont have to press the oppositional movement key
@Aryan Singh you just don't in CSGO you had to because you move relatively fast but in valorant you can just press a or d and then let go it makes virtually no difference

@@respecccccc nah, there's a huge difference if you counterstrafe. It is a lot more subtle (ig the time it takes for you to stop moving is shorter) than in csgo, but it's still very apparent.
@@durps8815 Sero tested and there's about 2 frame difference between counter strafing and just strafing so there's virtually no difference
Biggest vandal mistake for aim : Have a cool looking skin (Prime vandal)
If you taking long range battles, u can also ads to increase the accuracy of the vandal

it is actually a possibility to hold A and just press D if you want to shoot, you will stand still even tho you still press A, because you'll counter it with holding D :p

For counterstrafing I usually just press both keys at the same time.
If you let go lets say the A key and then press D key to counterstrafe you run the risk of moving in the opposite direction almost immediately after and lose that first shot accuracy.
Also I just don't have the brainpower or attention span in a gunfight to know/remember which opposite key I'm supposed to be pressing while shooting my enemy so I just hit both at the same time and not think about it.

I play Vandal on Open maps like brezze and Phantome on like Bind
My tip is take your chances. Don’t be afraid to shoot and pre fire and whatever you need you have 100 bullets use them
I needed this
I’ve tested the recoil on all guns and they are for the most part random. If you fire in bursts of around 5 bullets it’s easy to pull down to control it but after that it’ll go either left or right. It almost never follows the same 2x in a row. ITS NOT COUNTER STRIKE!!!

No phantom is the better gun. The ones who use vandals are just very stubborn. We like to think we're good, and hitting shots on the vandal is very addicting.
i recently unbinded my crouch foir about 20 aims and my aim improved also i rebinded it and am now more controlled with crouching

but if you get hit once while counter strafing you get slowed down a lot and youre a bigger target that doesnt really move that much.

Nice! Although I’ve practiced this for 100 hours now and I haven’t noticed even the slightest bit of improvement in guns fights but who knows maybe you need to do it for 1000 hours before you can see even slight improvements!

As a CSGO player, it deff is not like the AK-47.
At least for me, it just feels so weird to do the bursts, still trying to develop the memory to make them, but it feels very off for me

It’s like .2 ms while csgo is around .14ms so yes in Val you don’t really need to counter strafe with back tapping
Why nobody uses the scope it makes your shots mor accurate and i know that it slows you down but if you dont strafe?

Talking about counter strafing and not crouching, Tenz proceeds to crouch spray 90% of his kills.
I've been playing CODM for 3 years and I can't unlearn my skill from that game. I always move faster and missed all the shot. In CODM, I can move however I want and still hit my enemy. But in Valo, I just can't hit any if I move. So I might try these tips tonight to see if it works for me..

I hope people only do it for 1 day to get rid of muscle memory. But its very stupid. Crouched walking makes gun way more accurate while moving, but nobody knows this because they turn Movement error off on crosshair.

I try to use phantom like sinatraa, but the stats show me when I use Vandal I get more hs and avg damage.
personally i like more vandal but yes phantom is a bit more acurate
Most of the time never shoot more than 8 bullets at a time with the vandal (unless going for wallbang then just spray and pray🤣) I usually shoot 2/3 while standing then crouch and the rest should hit as long and my aim is on I used to spray when I would whiff but trust me it’s faster and better to just stop wait a sec and burst again and the spraying through smoke thing is true but if a jett smoke gets thrown down and I know where she is and then I’ll just aim head level move left and right and tap where I think she will be I have gotten tons of kills like this and a few hack accusations too but yeah
vandal is better bcuz of satisfying and long range. But phantom is exetremely accurate in close range and run and gun

There is no inertia in valorant, no need for counter strafe, once you release the key you are able to shoot instantly.
trying to play val since the beta again and they changed the recoil for the vandal, its so weird now...
