Regardless, to answer Paul regarding Messianic prophecies, specifically that Jesus would die for others and rise on the third day.
First, I must clarify Messianic prophecy from a Christian and Biblical understanding; God is the Author of the Bible, which includes all prophecy, so its method of communication is in accordance with the will of God. Non-Christians will often complain that Biblical prophecy is not specific enough, or that it fails to communicate an event in specificity, such as the third-day resurrection of Christ.
So, why the confusion about the Biblical prophecies?
First, the Bible communicates all prophecy in the manner that God has determined, non-Christians simply reject the method and fail to understand the complexities of the overall message. One of the major methods used by God in communicating His message, including prophecy, it is to inform the Christian while keeping it revealed to the non-believer (Mark 4:11-12, Colossians 1:26-27; Isaiah 6:9-10).

The Holy Spirit throughout the Bible, Old Testament, and New Testament is the Instructor, Comforter, Restrainer, and Third Person of the Triune God. He reveals and empowers those who seek God, so without the Holy Spirit prophecy will seem vague and disconnected, but for those that have the promised Holy Spirit, the Word of God is alive and active, speaking prophecy that's amazing and true. So, if you're a non-believer, you've been warned in advance.
To answer Paul directly, the Bible communicates in a number of ways: foreshadows, visions, allegories, imagery and direct verbiage. The resurrection and crucifixion of Jesus are revealed in all of these methods, which I will post for the reader to see and hopefully grasp. I obviously can't post the entire chapters needed to communicate the prophecies, and there are far too many prophecies to list about Jesus Christ so I will simply list the book and Chapter(s):
- The Messiah would be pierced in His hands and feet. His clothing would be gambled for and He would die and yet rise to life again.
*Psalms 22, Isaiah 53, Daniel 9:26. John 19
- The Messiah Foreshadowed in the substitutionary atonement and healing of all that look to Jesus, who would be raised up.
*Numbers 21:9; John 3:14.
- The Messiah would die and rise again, this would have to happen exactly 483 years from the decree to rebuild the Second Temple. Amazing fulfillment by Jesus Christ!
*Daniel 9:25-26
- The Messiah would be a future sacrifice and substitutionary atonement, foreshadowed in the Passover lamb during the Exodus account. Amazing!!!
*Exodus 12
- The Messiah would be raised on the third day.
*Ezra 6:15 & John 2:19 allegorically predictions and fulfills the Temple analogy Jesus spoke of Himself in death and resurrection terms. Also see Hosea 6:2, which is a dual prophecy on a third-day resurrection of the Messiah and the Nation of Israel. A day equaling 1000 years, thus 2000 years or two days after the Messiah's resurrection that was on the third-day, Israel was also reborn on the third day or third millennium, May 14th, 1948. (See 2 Peter 3:8 for this reference of time).
- The Messiah would be born of a virgin.
*Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14
- The Messiah is God
*Isaiah 9:6-7, Follow the Branch analogy in Isaiah and Zachariah, which allude to the Deity of the promised Messiah.
-The Messiah would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Jesus is the only person of antiquities that is called, God that lived with us, there is no other person that fits this prophecy...Christians to this day profess this and exclaim it...Jesus is the English translation of the Hebrew Yeshua, which means "The Lord saves." Amazing prophecy that only Jesus fulfilled.
*Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:22-23.
There are many, many more prophecies that are distinct to Jesus and only Jesus fulfilled them, but these few I posted are enough to answer Paul's challenge on this subject, Jesus' virgin birth, death, and resurrection.

And for the record, the Bible doesn't have to say the specific word "Resurrected", the context of the words and meaning of them determine the events being described. If one must have exact words, using your logic, the Quran never says Muhammad was a ["True" prophet], it simply says he was [a prophet of Allah]. The word "true" is never given, so by your logic, he was possibly a [false prophet]. So Muhammad could be a [false prophet] that was used by Allah, to deceive the people. We know that the Quran says, Allah is the best of deceivers (Sura 3:54).
We know as Christians, the Bible warns us that Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44)...So you worship the best of Deceivers. Christians are warned not follow a deceiver, Satan. This seems to further prove that Muhammad was Allah's false prophet, used to deceive people away from the Truth...Jesus Christ!

Sardar Khan - You quoted a verse, but do you understand what is actually being communicated?
The context is most important. I find it strange that you chose that verse (1 John 2:4) because it goes to the heart of what I was communicating with you. A verse used in isolation is simply a pretext to excuse your accountability to God. Do you keep God's Law?
Do you understand that God will hold you accountable to His perfect Law and nothing in Islam can deliver you from His righteous judgment coming upon you! Nothing in Islam can deliver you from His perfect righteous Law!
If you died tonight, you will stand before the Holy Righteous Creator, Jesus Christ, and you will be judged by God's perfect Law. I don't want you to be lost for eternity in Hell Fire!

Christianity has to be a false religion. It is a religion that bends the law of God and in some cases totally disregards it. It is a religion the encourages immorality. Encourages homosexuality, encourages same sex marriages, gambling, premarital sex, illegitimate children, alcoholism. A religion where kids grow up and leave there parents to fend for themselves or parents get dumped in old age homes. A religion that has no solutions to social evolution or injustice. A religion that has no laws allowing people to be a law unto themselves. Eat what they want, do what they want, pray when they want. A religion that only remembers God on Sundays or when a plane is experiencing turbulence. Such a religion, cannot be from God. Surely the greatest witness to Jesus's assumed divinity, would be his mother Mary, should have a whole lot to say about his divinity in the bible, but there is nothing. Nothing from "God's" mother? Surely this would have been a woman that would have been immensely proud and honored to have given birth to a "God" (just saying that makes me throw up in my mouth). Surely this is a woman who would have taught his "divinity" to Jesus's disciples or future followers and to carry on his message of being 'divine'. Yet there is nothing in history or the bible about her besides giving birth to Jesus and being at his supposed crucifixion.

Paul Williams seems like a reasonably intelligent man, but, he was out of his depth here and got schooled by someone (Bob) who's fully versed on the topic being discussed - the Crucifixion and Resurrection of The Messiah, Jesus Christ. Paul (Williams)painted himself into a corner, and, then tied himself up in knots, trying to defend his position. Anyone with even a basic understanding of both the Christian and Islamic faiths, and, their historical contexts could tell he was having to resort to distorting the historic text of the New Testament, to even make sense of the arguments he was putting forward, let alone validate them.

Now you say that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God.
I would like to ask what is your view on the fruits of the spirit and then using your interpretation that Jesus was being explicit in his words about him referring to himself the “Son of God” how would you then claim that the Holy Spirit is God’s spirit when the Bible says”
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever”
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”
So if the spirit belongs to God - why did Jesus not say the spirit of God will comfort you. As we know the definition of paraklétos is qn advocate, intercessor, (b) a consoler, comforter, helper. - which seem to highlight an active person acting on one's behalf.
If 1Jn 5:7 says For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Then - how do you derive they are one in agreement - isn’t this at odds with the Shema.

All prophets of the past received revelation directly from god, and they spoke with great authority, without any fear, however, Mohammed received his revelation from an angel, and was afraid and scared. This debate is annoying because we (as a Christian) could have read out loud Isaiah 53 and Psalms 22. To show that the death and resurrection was prophetic.
Also in John gives the disciples a talk about what Moses the prophets, and the Psalms said about Him.
You could also have read the incident where Jesus appeared to Thomas “after” the resurrection to show the crucifixion and resurrection is not just a vision but a bodily event. I stopped watching just before 1hr so Bob might have mentioned the above.
