I am an atheist but i liove listening to bob. By far the best christian debater at speakers corner.
I am a former atheist and now a Christian. I was 100% pure atheist. I examined the existence of God, authenticity of Bible, existence of human soul, then I became Christian. I have written a book about CREATION vs EVOLUTION. In my opinion, FRANK TUREK and KENT HOVIND are the best Bible teachers alive. But I have other points to prove the existence of God. And I disagree with FRANK TUREK and KENT HOVIND about creation of time and space. So, I have written a different book about creation and evolution and about the fulfillment of many Bible prophecies. My book will logically and scientifically lead people to truth and to Bible. I am very much agaist faith without reasons. And I reject ALL WHATEVER MUHAMMAD SAID ABOUT Jesus or previous people because Muhammad was born almost 600 years AFTER JESUS. So, there is no chance that Muhammad can know ANYTHING ABOUT JESUS or previous people. Some Muslims say that Muhammad MIRACULOUSLY know what happened to Jesus. If somebody can give that kind of stupid nonsense reason, then I can also say that I was standing omy balcony with my coffee cup and MIRACULOUSLY a cow came flying and gave milk to my coffee. And sugarcane MIRACULOUSLY came to sky and gave sugar to my coffee.

Muslims claim that Jesus did not die, but it is written in the Quran : "And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive" (19 : 33). Can someone explain me this, please?

Bob asks a question about the quran and the muslim responds by asking a question about the bible. If the quran is perfect, why dont they respond using quranic verses?

I don’t understand how Muslims, one moment, claim that the bible is corrupt, yet, the next moment, want to reference it in order to defend against the Quran. I don’t understand how they don’t see the absurdity in that.

Could the phrase "we worship you, Allah" -molaimid hu Allah (the hu is spelled thu in irish)- been another catchphrase with "Allah hu akbar"? For example, in irish the phrase "Allah thu ag barr" is pronounced exactly the same as "Allah hu ackbar" but means "Allah, you, at the top".

Bob some advice for you, when they bring up the garden passage, that you read it in Greek and Latin and that you study the meaning of the words in those languages for that passage. Jesus never asks not to go through with the Crucifixion, instead, He actually asks that He be the vessel that the cup passes from(through).

@ Sardar KZ I thought it was a good question you asked so I opened up my bible and there is an easy answer when you finish the sentence that you are taking this verse from. I'll write out the verse first; "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit (or alive in the spirit)," but let's finish the sentence. It continues for the next two verses, "though whom (through which) also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built."
So now with further context we can see that Peter is saying that while Jesus' body was physically dead and in the tomb he went in spirit, which cannot die if he is not guilty of sin himself, to effectively the underworld to give testimony to the spirits of humans who have died in the past.
I hope this clears things up if someone hasn't already addressed it.

They refused to believe long ago, while God patiently waited to receive them, in Noah's time when the ark was being built. In it only a few, that is eight souls, were saved through water." Jesus appeared bodily to his disciples, and in spirit, to those who have died in the past, yet are "in prison".
It's funny....muslims find it hard to call their "allah" a deceiver, but YET...allah himself calls himself "THE BEST OF DECEIVERS" (s 8:40) in the quran. 🙄

The bible is the word of man, inspired by god...therefore it can modernise and change with a fast-changing modern society but still remain in inspiration true to itself.

This is crazy watching them react to his evidence. It’s like watching a kid react to hearing his father (that he loves) was a bad person his whole life. They will never let it sink in no matter how many claims and logic contradict. It’s almost heartbreaking to see them not accept the facts and some what improvise logic to answer his questions.
