- Install my 240 Rear Tire Kit for my Indian Scout Bobber and switch baffles for my 2-into-1 Freedom Performance exhaust.
I'm loving this new look and sound!!!
I purchased the rear tire kit from RC Components.
www.shoprccomponents.com/scou...
Good looking Scout! We sell those 240 kits all the time, makes the bike look more muscle. 👍🙌👏
Wow bro makes me want one , I think lower fender and flatter bars would complement this
Gave you a thumbs up! Wicked nice! One bit of constructive criticism though. Everything is subjective but.... for me I would go with a shorter tighter back fender like the "NEVER OFF" fabrication. Why? Because it puts way more emphasis on the back tire while still giving a sleeker look to the back frame. I'm putting my money where my mouth is and doing exactly that with my 2024. I'll have to get a back fender custom made, but I'll gladly do it for the look I desire. You're bike is dope for sure though! Nice job overall!
Sorry for the delayed response. I totally agree and appreciate the feedback.
Looks good man mean as hell!
Bike looks great! Love the seat.
Thanks.
That looks much better dude! Congrats. stay safe
Thanks
Wow! Looks so damned good!
Thank you
BobberBoss likes!!! Nice set up my man…..
Thanks
Woooo! 🔥 That rear tire kit is money. I would like to do the same to my bike.
Thank you! I think you should do it. Especially since you got the Rouge.
Just ordered mine; can’t wait!!!
Welcome to the Bobber club
Siempre me han gustado las Indian son lo mejor en mi opinión. Bonita moto amigo sigue haciendo videos 👌💪
I am the same. How many inches is the rear wheel?
Bike looks cold bruh!!😉👍🏼
Thank you
Whoa!! I have a Dream! And Im looking right at it! 🦽🛵
Thanks
That looks sick bro
Thanks
Looks dope!
Thank you
Love the mods!
Thanks Mike

Thank you Alessandra!
Looks good. Need to get paint matched
Badass bro i like rear 240😊 Indian scout
Thank you!!
Nice !
Thank you
I need one in my life
Get one, bruh. You won't regret it.
Very nice
Thank you!!
I just installed the combat 2-1 and man is ir crazy loud cruising on the freeway, had to order the baffle straight away
Excatly….without the baffle it was unbearable. With the baffle it’s perfect
Bike looking right man!!! I’m really contemplating in selling my 2010 nightrod special(2,700 miles) and getting a scout bobber...
Thanks...I like how the Bobber rides.
You made that tank feel more like a tank. I am going with the Rebel 1100 myself.
Been thinking about getting this bike as a 2nd bike, yours seems to be the standout one I have seen to date - I’d describe it as “understated badass”.
I agree with you about being too loud…being heard and sounding good does not mean being obnoxious. I think you got the right balance.
One question I have - it’s a dumb one…rear indicators and brake light…is that the little led strip on the rear mudguard? If so…how does it look when braking and indicating at the same time. Just curious.
Thanks for the video.
Pedro, yes, the red strip you see in the back is the brake light. Hit the link below to see how I did my rear brake lights and turn signals. ruclips.net/video/fu7haedm3Lg/видео.html
Looks great, love the stance with the 240. Been thinking about getting the 2 into 1 myself but I've heard that they can be painfully loud on rides, did you find that the quiet baffle made it significantly better?
Daniel, Yes, the quiet baffle made it significantly better. It has a deep sound to it but not as loud. If you get the 2 into 1, I recommend purchasing the quiet baffle too.
That seat couldn't look better
Thanks
Did you have to piece together the rear tire kit and fender?
No, The kit basically adds spacers to the shocks and the gearbox. It's an easy process.
That's the way it should come new, Nice !
The only thing I don't like is $2,400.00 for the kit, rear wheel , tire and fender. They say save money by using your scout front wheel , ggg. Right couldn't afford 2400.00 more for the front wheel
Yeah... The 2400 kit was a hard one to swallow.
@@myscoutbobber3298 ... I know it was hard to purchase but the bike is sweet looking so it is what it is , you made it right.
I like it, that fat rear looks awesome. The pin stripes on wheels look good to. Did you paint them on by hand? Or have a professional striper do the work? That is the way they should come out of the factory.
Thank you!! The pin strip on the wheels I did. With some detail tape.
Hey mate, I am from Australia and looking at getting the Scout Bobber. I love the exhaust. Can you tell me what baffle you put on and where to buy it. Cheers.
I apologize for the delayed response. I overlooked this comment. I got the quiet baffle and pipes from freedom performance. freedomperformexhaust.com
Looks awesome. Did handling improve, get worse or stay about the same?
Thank you!! It feels more balanced and softer on the road if that makes sense.
Sick looking bike! just picked mine up today I can’t wait to start modifying it
@@josea1596 , They are some great bikes
Where did you purchase all that stuff for the rear fender and tire mount looks good but what about your turn signals or is it on the fender
I purchased the rear finder kit from www.shoprccomponents.com. Please look at my other video to see how I installed my turn signals. ruclips.net/video/fu7haedm3Lg/видео.html
Awesome bike where did you get the license plate holder and what does it bolt to?
I got it from Amazon and it bolts to the back tire bolt
Looks good but how does it effect the handling? 👍
Not much... I think it rides better
Is there a way to keep the stock soft brown seat on it with the new tire and fender instead of the raised one you got on?
Unfortunately, no. You will have to change the seat.
Hey - Is the rear fender the one that comes as part of the RC Components kit?
Yes... You will need to get it painted
Hey man, just ordered the baffle. I lve the sound when im riding with the guys, but its too loud for rides around town. Does the quiet baffle help lower the sound?
@caronrider....Yes, the quiet baffle lowers the sound a lot but still gives you that deep throttle sound. I believe it sounds better with the quiet baffle. You should be happy with the quiet baffle.
Tight
Thank you
How long(hours) did it take you to put the 240 kit together and mount? Any adjustments afterward?
Maybe 20 -30 minutes. It mainly spacers. The only adjustment is tightening the belt and ensuring tw read wheel is straight
@MyScoutBobber Awesome! Man, an ole step by step would be nice 😆. Thank you for the reply. I hope to do this soon.

Hey buddy where did you get the exhaust and the wheel kit from. I’m trying to convert my 2016 model
Hey Mark. Sorry for the delayed response. I got the rear wheel kit from RC components www.shoprccomponents.com/scou... and the pipe from Freedom Performance. freedomperformexhaust.com
Hello and greetings from Spain. I'm trying to find out what type of rim and tire you have so I can upgrade my Indian Scout to a 240 wheel. Could you tell me?
I got it from here. www.shoprccomponents.com/scout-bobber-240-stocker-kit
does the new fender allow you to use the factory original seat if you wanted to?
No.
could you keep the stock seat on or is that something you have to change?
You might have to change the seat. If you try to keep the stock seat, you might have to modify it so it can fit securely.
Damn nothing is badass what did that back tire kit cost and what came with it exhaust sounds pretty good
Back tire kit cost about 2300. It included rear tire, time, spacers and customize rear finder
@@myscoutbobber3298 which kit did you purchase? I have not found one with a custom size fender like that for the rear. I still like the fender myself.
Your bike is bad ass, brother 💪 So clean!
@@Christopherthill , I got it from RC Components. Check out the link and give them a call.
www.shoprccomponents.com/scout-bobber-240-stocker-kit/
Are you located in DFW area? I'm a 2021 Scout owner in the McKinney area looking for Indian group rides.
No…. I am in the Houston Texas area
Could you put a link to those handlebar grips?
www.etsy.com/shop/MerrillsLeather?ref=shop_sugg
Where did you get the fender from
I got it from RC components
I’m looking into buying one, any cons you can think of?
Hey, Art's!! The wind can be brutal at speeds beyond 75 mph due to not having a windshield.
That is about the only con that's worth mentioning. Get one, I think you will enjoy it!!.
Did that fender come with the kit? And does it support a passenger?
@David… Yes, the finder came with kit. I believe so but not certain if it can support a passenger. But it is a hole in the finder where you can put an extra seat back there.
@@myscoutbobber3298 this is one of the nicest ones I have seen. Looks awesome!
@@DavidRodriguez-zb1pp , thank you!
Did the quiet baffle make a difference?
Yes…It sounds better in my opinion. Better deep sound. Without the baffle it sounded to untuned if that makes since.
안녕 뒷 타이어 휠 은 몇 인치 입니까? 어디서 구매합니까?
where did you get the tire stripes?
From Amazon…
What rear fender is that ?
RC Components made it. It comes with the kit. I had to get it painted, though.
Cool. How much u spend on the modification?
The back tire kit runs about $2,400. The seat was $400. The freedom performance 2 to 1 pipe was $1,100. Other small mods ran between $10 - $200. It’s all worth it
@@myscoutbobber3298 oh nice good !
But where is tail light?
Ngl your modification looks so good.
Where did the rear tire kit come from? I’m seriously considering buying a scout and doing the rear wide kit. Looks killer bro.
@@eternal1967 The tail light is back there, but I modified it to blend with the bike until I hit on the brakes. I will be posting a video on that modification in a few days.

Is that a different rim? It looks bigger. What size is it?
19 inch
@@myscoutbobber3298
Yeah, that looks AWESOME... Are you planning on matching the front wheel?
@@PLABOI83, yes
Kya cost aati he is baik ki
How is the lean angle with the 240?
It feels a little different but not much. I do have an increase on the angle lean.
@@myscoutbobber3298 what does that consist of? I've seen a couple ways of going about it
@@timbrwolf1121, it's hard to explain. I feel it's more at higher speeds. I can lean more with the higher speeds with the 240 than the stock wheel.
@@myscoutbobber3298 oh hell yes 😅 yeah I heard the low speed turning is harder with big wheels
@@myscoutbobber3298 what parts did you use for the lean angle? Just shocks or other stuff too?
How much was the kit?
About $2400
Looks good but please take the sticker off the tank. 😂
Agreed...lol
So you have to spend over $2000 just to get a 240 tire on? Want to do fender delete.
Yes. The price is for the rim, tire, spacers, and rear fender which are made and customized for that particular bike. It might be cheaper without the fender.
How comfortable is that seat
It’s comfortable for the most part. The springs make it feel softer then the stock seat.
@@myscoutbobber3298 who made it?

Sick!!!! I was thinking about that tire, but I'm going for weight I want the rotobox boost carbon fiber
now the wheels look like Harley nightrod
I think it looks better then the night rod
