MyScoutBobber
Добавлен 21 июл 2013
I have been riding sportbikes, R1's in particular, for over 20 years. I decided to change things up and get myself a cruiser. This page is dedicated to my first cruiser, a 2022 Indian Scout Bobber. My plan... to customize the scout and make it my own.
Let’s RIDE!!!
Met one of the Scout Bobber riders at my son's jiu-jitsu tournament. He reached out because I had on my Indian Bobber shirt.
Found out it's a group of 4 of them that ride Bobbers. The rest is history!
I don't own the rights to this music.

Install my 240 Rear Tire Kit for my Indian Scout Bobber and switch baffles for my 2-into-1 Freedom Performance exhaust. I'm loving this new look and sound!!! I purchased the rear tire kit from RC Components. www.shoprccomponents.com/scout-bobber-240-stocker-kit/
The new Freedom Performance Exhaust System Exhaust.

Installed my Combat 2-into-1 Shorty Freedom Performance Exhaust System. The pipe is loud with a nice deep sound. It seems too loud at times. I think I was just used to the stock pipe sound. With this pipe, people will surely hear you before they see you. freedomperformexhaust.com

Time to add some more brown to the Bobber

I decided to paint the Indian emblem brown. Something about black, brown, and chrome just looks good to me.

Wow bro makes me want one , I think lower fender and flatter bars would complement this
Looks good man mean as hell!
Is there a way to keep the stock soft brown seat on it with the new tire and fender instead of the raised one you got on?
Unfortunately, no. You will have to change the seat.
Side view woulda been nice.
Gave you a thumbs up! Wicked nice! One bit of constructive criticism though. Everything is subjective but.... for me I would go with a shorter tighter back fender like the "NEVER OFF" fabrication. Why? Because it puts way more emphasis on the back tire while still giving a sleeker look to the back frame. I'm putting my money where my mouth is and doing exactly that with my 2024. I'll have to get a back fender custom made, but I'll gladly do it for the look I desire. You're bike is dope for sure though! Nice job overall!
Sorry for the delayed response. I totally agree and appreciate the feedback.
Good looking Scout! We sell those 240 kits all the time, makes the bike look more muscle. 👍🙌👏
Is that a different rim? It looks bigger. What size is it?
19 inch
@@myscoutbobber3298 Yeah, that looks AWESOME... Are you planning on matching the front wheel?
@@PLABOI83, yes
Hello and greetings from Spain. I'm trying to find out what type of rim and tire you have so I can upgrade my Indian Scout to a 240 wheel. Could you tell me?
I got it from here. www.shoprccomponents.com/scout-bobber-240-stocker-kit
does the new fender allow you to use the factory original seat if you wanted to?
No.
Hey, we have just stumbled across your video. Love the look of your Indian! The brown color splotches are a very good idea. 👌They fit her perfectly! Enjoy your beauty and have lots of safe rides!
Thank you
I am finishing his restoration. A few more days and it will be as good as new.
It's a miracle. I found your video by accident. You crashed your bike a little. I bought it at an auction. He is now in Ukraine.))))
Hi
Hey man, just ordered the baffle. I lve the sound when im riding with the guys, but its too loud for rides around town. Does the quiet baffle help lower the sound?
@caronrider....Yes, the quiet baffle lowers the sound a lot but still gives you that deep throttle sound. I believe it sounds better with the quiet baffle. You should be happy with the quiet baffle.
Where did you purchase all that stuff for the rear fender and tire mount looks good but what about your turn signals or is it on the fender
I purchased the rear finder kit from www.shoprccomponents.com. Please look at my other video to see how I installed my turn signals. ruclips.net/video/fu7haedm3Lg/видео.html
Nice !
Thank you
🔥🔥
Beautiful
I like it, that fat rear looks awesome. The pin stripes on wheels look good to. Did you paint them on by hand? Or have a professional striper do the work? That is the way they should come out of the factory.
Thank you!! The pin strip on the wheels I did. With some detail tape.
Badass bro i like rear 240😊 Indian scout
Thank you!!
That seat couldn't look better
Thanks
Where did you get the fender from
I got it from RC components
Looks dope!
Thank you
Badass bobber
Thank you
Is that seat more comfortable than stock seat and where you get the grips?
The seat comfort wise is about the same. The big difference is when you go over bumps and etc. The springs is like an extra cushion. I got the grips from Esty.com.
I just installed the combat 2-1 and man is ir crazy loud cruising on the freeway, had to order the baffle straight away
Excatly….without the baffle it was unbearable. With the baffle it’s perfect
Weard an afro American riding a costume bike this was invented in the early 20 century by white
Bike looks great! Love the seat.
Thanks.
Bike looking right man!!! I’m really contemplating in selling my 2010 nightrod special(2,700 miles) and getting a scout bobber...
Thanks...I like how the Bobber rides.
That looks much better dude! Congrats. stay safe
Thanks
Damn nothing is badass what did that back tire kit cost and what came with it exhaust sounds pretty good
Back tire kit cost about 2300. It included rear tire, time, spacers and customize rear finder
@@myscoutbobber3298 which kit did you purchase? I have not found one with a custom size fender like that for the rear. I still like the fender myself. Your bike is bad ass, brother 💪 So clean!
@@Christopherthill , I got it from RC Components. Check out the link and give them a call. www.shoprccomponents.com/scout-bobber-240-stocker-kit/
Great job on your Bobber! That 240 kit is killer!
Thank you
Sounds cool ...
Thank you
Been thinking about getting this bike as a 2nd bike, yours seems to be the standout one I have seen to date - I’d describe it as “understated badass”. I agree with you about being too loud…being heard and sounding good does not mean being obnoxious. I think you got the right balance. One question I have - it’s a dumb one…rear indicators and brake light…is that the little led strip on the rear mudguard? If so…how does it look when braking and indicating at the same time. Just curious. Thanks for the video.
Pedro, yes, the red strip you see in the back is the brake light. Hit the link below to see how I did my rear brake lights and turn signals. ruclips.net/video/fu7haedm3Lg/видео.html
That's the way it should come new, Nice ! The only thing I don't like is $2,400.00 for the kit, rear wheel , tire and fender. They say save money by using your scout front wheel , ggg. Right couldn't afford 2400.00 more for the front wheel
Yeah... The 2400 kit was a hard one to swallow.
@@myscoutbobber3298 ... I know it was hard to purchase but the bike is sweet looking so it is what it is , you made it right.
Whoa!! I have a Dream! And Im looking right at it! 🦽🛵
Thanks
Love the mods!
Thanks Mike
Hi. Can you tell me the size of the seat? Thanks
It’s medium size seat. 11.81 inches wide and 13.97 inches long
@@myscoutbobber3298 👍🏻
Awesome bike where did you get the license plate holder and what does it bolt to?
I got it from Amazon and it bolts to the back tire bolt
You made that tank feel more like a tank. I am going with the Rebel 1100 myself.
Looks great, love the stance with the 240. Been thinking about getting the 2 into 1 myself but I've heard that they can be painfully loud on rides, did you find that the quiet baffle made it significantly better?
Daniel, Yes, the quiet baffle made it significantly better. It has a deep sound to it but not as loud. If you get the 2 into 1, I recommend purchasing the quiet baffle too.
verynice
Thanks
Looking forward to riding with you again!!! 👊🏼✌🏼👍🏼
Same here Mark!! 🤘🏾
Hey - Is the rear fender the one that comes as part of the RC Components kit?
Yes... You will need to get it painted
where did you get the tire stripes?
From Amazon…
could you keep the stock seat on or is that something you have to change?
You might have to change the seat. If you try to keep the stock seat, you might have to modify it so it can fit securely.
Is the seat comfortable and does it keep you from sliding off when you twist the throttle?
Yes, the seat is very comfortable. The springs help a lot. You might slide some with throttle pull but not like with the stock seat. The custom seat has a curve design so it holds your butt In place better.
The bike is looking good boss.
Oooofffff - my booooiiiiii !!!! 🤘🏼
Thanks for recording the ride.
@@myscoutbobber3298 we'll do it even more this year - be careful man 🤘🏼
Very nice
Thank you!!
