I feel like the Sam Cane selection is specifically for the games against the boks where you need people that can make tackle after tackle and need lots of experience to navigate the game.
I agree
We'll need his toughness and experience over there.
If he can hand down some knowledge to Blackadder whilst at it I think we'll be looking good for next year with Jacobson and papilii covering Ethan
Yeah that's pretty much what's I was thinking too aye. Dude broke his freakin neck over there, so that's something
Unfinished business..Sam's got a score to settle with them boks..
And pretty hard couple of weeks, 2 games at home against the Boks.
Half backs are coming from everywhere right now! Not long ago the whole country thought there was a drought; now we have an amazing group of younger players. Cam Roigard will have to fight hard to make it back!
Glad to see Rueben Love get a shot. Proctor looks the goods too. (bit of a hurricanes bias from me here )
Cam is first pick half back, TJ is keeping his spot. Ratima and Hotham are quick with their ruck speed ball and box kicks. The only thing Christie was being chosen for was defense but with all the other half backs their defense is as good as their attack!!!
This squad is awesome. The return of Will Jordan, Sam Cane and David Havili, and the inclusion of Reuben Love is promising. A little unlucky for Emoni Narawa though, he never really got a chance to shine in that AB's jersey. But I highly doubly that his time in the All Blacks set up is done and dusted.
I don't know about other people, but I'm glad Finlay Christie wasn't included. The experience of TJ Perenara, but the speed of the pass at the breakdown from Ratima and Hotham is super important. On top of their ability to snipe around the ruck, the both of them are VERY good at it.
Lastly, probably a lot of people are wondering why Sam Cane has made this squad. I believe it's for two reasons, South Africa where his experience and toughness will be vital and the man deserves accolades for his 100 caps.
This is probably my Landers bias but I would have loved to see Fakatava get a shot
I agree.
Ahead of who?
@@kodiharris5288 Would have liked to see him get called up instead of Hotham when Perenara was injured, but Hotham is fantastic as well
Yep definitely highlanders bias fakatava is good but wasn't as good as the others, they've got everyone's stats don't forget playing for highlanders doesn't help his cause
@@phs15 Who's Perenara? Christy is heaps better.
That team list is a very tough nut to crack. Good to see Cane in the squad. Don't agree? Then go slag Razor. Razor knows the flank position; very well. All the best to the ABs, I hope they win the Championship. God bless NZ 🏴☠☘
sam can cost the abs wrc final against the Rugby World Cup Champions " South Africa " and he will do it again with his crappy back problem, he will cost the Abs another lost, end of story
I really like it and can totally see why Razor etc want Cane especially for against SA. Well balanced squad and fantastic to see Love in there. Bring on the RC.
Can't wait for the Boks matches. Going to be the best tests. Hopefully we get a good ref.
As an England fan I always look forward to the RWC. That looks a good squad for ABs
England building and looking strong too. They'll be serious contenders in 2027, and the coming six nations tournaments.
Interesting Beauden is listed at fly half, considering hes been playing fullback. And doing a damn good job of it. Good squad, I look forward to them coming to SA for the rematch, its gonna be a hell of a challenge for both teams i reckon. 🇿🇦
Not really, he was listed at first five-eight for the England squad too.
Great to see Ruben love in the team, he damgerous when there is a breakaway. Havili though? Say no thank you
Sam Cane controversial but we need him back, hopefully his injuries and his time under foster doesnt cloud everyones opinion of him.
Welcone TJ back but we should be giving ratima and holam more ball time. They both been doing great especially pinching the side of those rucks.
Our line out has been dismal though, going to be hard going against the saffas.
Very good squad! Form players to and good to see razor making the big calls! Congrats R. Love
Regarding Jordan on the wing, I like having a play-making & kicking wing somewhere - he offers that - and a slippery, proactive wing on the other. That being said, having Jordan fullback and going to wing when BB comes on works too. If BB is 15, then Jordan is wing for me.
Jordan wing with Clarke. Silky smooth and power. Perofeta or Love at 15. BB on bench with Perenara and JB. ALB and Ioane in midfield, Dmac and Ratima.
Dont know what to make of Havili but might aswel see him under razor in the black jersey. Cane, mmm yee still a tought nut to crack and alot of expreince. Very interesting, but let's get it boyz 💪 ABs
Havili scored that excellent try last year at Ellis Park in SA… don’t cut him out so quickly….
@@sorayadavids5967 I dont disagree. Definitely looking forward to how Razor and management approach there game plan in a tough RC comp. Just need more moments and consistency like that from havili. I'll have him start 1st test or benched with the argies to get some rust of before heading to SA.
@@sorayadavids5967Did you sleep 😴 all year last year that was 2022 at ellis Park that's long gone he had a shocker in super this year lucky to be there,I think we're abit short of mid fielders and desperate
Good player but loses focus during the game needs to be more apex runner
Razor extracts the most and best out of Havili in my opinion. Let’s see!!
Hey Mark ever thought of doing a peice on the number of coaching stuff Razor has and what their roles are?the stand by me kid Tamiti ellison who played 2nd five is coaching the ruck apparently which is mind blowing.I think it would make for some interesting conversation.Great stuff as always
Ellison is (apparently) there getting coaching experience & training before taking over from Penney in 2026. He was their long term replacement for the Crusaders head coach but wasn't seen as having enough experience just yet. But yeah, on the basis of the first 3 games, Foster was getting more out of the squad with a much more streamlined (and slimlined) coaching team.
@@JimmyKip wow really?that sounds a bit suss conducting crusader business within the AB system .Especially giving a rookie the reins to an important aspect of the game so he can be more ready to take over a super rugby team.Cheers for the info thats pretty interesting
@@Jase1000-p2f Its just a rumour I read on reddit halfway through the super season when they were discussing Penney's future. Basically some random internet person had what sounded interesting scuttlebutt that the reason Penney was on a 2 year contract was because Ellison was going to take over. Well before I saw it mentioned anywhere they'd said Ellison was going to be an assistant for the ABs this year as part of the training. And then sure enough he was an assistant.
Is it true or just some rando conspiracy theorist on the internet?! Who knows.
Excited for Love to get a shot. Im not mad about Sam Cane returning either.
I hope Havili does... something finally. I dont see anything special about the guy, but I used to say that about Clark too, and I think he's playing phenomenal these days.
Interesting Squad named!
Looking forward to the Rugby championship
Thanks Mark - some useful players returning from injury too.
love is worth his selection, hes a great five eigth and fullback, dmac will have to bring his A game now that love is in the team..Solid team..
Totally agree re R.Love - The playing style of Love, W.Jordan and C.Roigard is ushering in a new flair into the ABs. Sure it will take a few years to develop, but look out!
@@rattleyourdagsyes very dangerous trio Rush defense will struggle with these 3 on the field at the same time but we need some bigger locks with mongrel like eben
Finally we have 2 fullbacks who will test opposition defensive lines. Perofeta showed it against England and Love has same ability. Great choices.
That All Blacks squad looks ready to tackle the Rugby Championship
People seem to miss how exceptional Christy is on defense but yeah not quite as sharp on attack as the others nor as young for the future.
Looks like a team that can attack from anywhere with that backline, looking forward to the bok tests
I thought we'd seen the last of Sam Cane, but all the best to him. I hope he and the ABs are successful. Overall, I'm not complaining. I feel sorry for Emoni Narawa. Due to injuries, he'll get another chance.
Oh man I feel bad for Narawa! He had a tough night out against Fiji. Did you say it was injury?
Either way, it's a tough position to keep.
Very happy for Cane , and Love , Havili very lucky after not a good super rugby this year at all he had bad form
Cane lucky as he hasn't played this year he shouldn't be there. A step backwards
But I happy for him as he was sent off last year while the South African captain only given a yellow card , I think he works really hard behind the scenes and it will be nice that we sent him off with 100 caps
@@brentwithey4241They want to give him his 100th test which he deserves and it's only a step backwards if the coaches don't address his penalty count and cane doesn't change,he may go well don't chop him down yet
Havili was injured for almost all of it. And many of the best Crusauders were injured or on extended leave for most of it too. When they came back they bested the Blues playing well and then didn't lose another game. Looked good enough to beat anyone.
@Tom_McMurtry Havilli is taking up space for a new cap who will be there in 2027. SR will find out he made a mistake as he honestly can't play him anywhere that isn't already covered. He isn't quality in those positions for run on or back up. Either ALB or JB in team the other on bench with BB or SP or RL.
Let everyone beat South Africa. Razor's got a big test with the two away games to the Boks. No better All black challenge in my book
The Ellis Park factor could make this interesting but the last time the ABs lost in Ellis Park was 2014 (I think)
Man has it been that long?
Remember Razor won his first Super final at that ground, against all odds.
@TwoCentsRugby I'm pretty sure. I remember that they didnt at Ellis Park between 2016 and 2021, won in 2022.
@@TwoCentsRugby Last five games played at Ellis Park between 'boks and ABs: 2004 ('boks won); 2013 (ABs); 2014 ('boks); 2015 (ABs) and 2022 (ABs).
It's just a name and another pitch to a non- African. Best team on the day wins anywhere.
Totally understand why Christie was dropped but not sure about Havili and Cane. Cheers for the video
Christy's season winning form definitely deserves inclusion. Very happy to see Cane back in the squad. The Sunday quarterback detractors be damned 😅
Weird side note mate, I just noticed your in the 80thousand+ subscribers! I remember when you were in the 5000 range. Just wanted to say well done!
Haha cheers man yeah been at it for a while 😅
The Razorback is back. 💪🏾😎
Gosh, a few months ago it would have been hard to pick that even with Aaron Smith and Brad Weber out of the picture and Cam Roigard injured that Finlay Christie and Folau Fakatava wouldn't even be able to make the squad...
There is 4 or 5 here getting towards the end that will be gradually replaced over this series and never to be seen again that’s succession planning. Who they are would be obvious to most without naming or hurting their feelings. Three are forwards and two are backs
Would have liked Quinn Tupaea in the squad,he could still be selected depending on possible injuries
One question. Didnt Perofeta used to play fly half in super rugby? I think beauden is a better fullback than him and that position suits better beauden who is a great counterattacker.
Yeah you're right, he played the start of the Blues season at 10 so is definitely another option
@@TwoCentsRugby yes. I remember saw him played at 10 a couple of years ago and i was surprised to see him played as fullback in the recent test matches. On the other hand, i think Robertson should keep barrett as fullback because he has a incredible acceleration when he counterattacks.
He did, but he was never very good at it. His kicking game is poor and his strategic game management didn't cut it at Super Rugby level, never mind international footie.
@@Formakiwialways thought Stephen was a much better ten than fullback as at fullback he wasn't great under the high all in previous seasons. Thought his kicking was smart but just not a great long kick.
its always been assumed that razor will play jordan at 15 for the all blacks because thats where he played him for the crusaders but its a completely different scenario. he played jordan at 15 for the crusaders because he didnt have a beauden barrett available to pick from.
Jordan was the best fullback ever. Or wing. He is and should be straight in.
Will Jordan's awesome until it rains 🌧 and we'll playing against the boks he turns into a scared little mouse 🐁
@@ManaBlack208 thats such a ridiculously specific scenario that i can only assume you saw him play one sub par game and now you are rating off that alone. Dont worry casual, chances of playing boks in the rain each game is about 0.05%
@@Edgycoo In general when it rains it takes away most of his game especially against the boks they love waiting for the little prick to make him their bitch like last years RWC final
@@Edgycoo Ever? He was good at Super but unproven at 15 in internationals and there's a host of great ABs fullbacks in front of him yet for best ever - Smith, Cullen, hell even BB were proven great international fullbacks.
As a Saffa, seeing Sam Cane make his return legit scares me.
Because this isn't about tactics or strategy or what kind of bench split they'll be using. This is about an absolute animal of a player with an axe to grind and a score to settle.
Sam Cane is not coming to South Africa to win; he is coming to South Africa to break the freaking Geneva convention.
I don't care how good Savea, Barret or Telea are - I care about the animal that is going to be unleashed upon us.
7 players can play fullback ( Love, perofeta, B Barrett, J Barrett, McKenzie , Havili, and Jordan )
“Technically”, YES.
Been a while since Jordie B or Damien M were a fullback tgh
@@tobyslater2011 Still puts Havilli 4th at best at fullback, 5th at 1st 5, 3rd and 4th in the midfield. Wasted selection.
Havili and hotham addition is crazy...razors out the gate😂
Rueben love is a future legend
Light on (fit) locks.. including Cane & Havilli is a step backwards. Bold (good) to drop Christie for Noah. Love is surprise inclusion.
solid squad
Darry also in. He wasn’t part of the 32 man squad.
He got a cap during the series so I didn't add him as an "in" if that makes sense 😅
lineout will be the problem area
Its already a problem hope it doesn't get worse as we go
Aye. Your two great locks ruled the roost there for years. But others will emerge with the same levels of talent and abilities I think. Just not right now.
@@KernowekTimReado ruled the lineouts, he was the caller and the receiver too most of the time. We haven’t found someone like him yet.
If Taylor doesn't improve, yeah. Aumua has been pretty good so far.
Dropping Christie for Hotham on the back of a cameo against a beaten Fiji team is a hell of a call, Christie wasn't bad and was up against a much tougher team in England who at times were dominating the forwards so he didn't have a lot of a platform to work from. Hard not to see that & the Bell selection over Riccitelli in the first squad (and again this time), and a return for Havili as a jobs for the boys type pick.
He wasnt. He was dropped for Ratima. Hotham was always a first pick half because hes so young an talented an someone had to miss out for him to come in. TJ is there for his experience so wouldnt drop him. choice was between Ratima an Christie an they prob needed barely 10 seconds to make that call.
@@jordanious7711 Nobody _had_ to miss out for Hotham. He could have been given another NPC season to develop ahead of trying to become the nailed down 9 for the Crusaders next year. Bear in mind he was swapping with Drummond a fair bit this year - ie he didn't even nail the starting spot in the Cru. He's a decent player and is promising but with Perenara nursing a pretty serious looking knee injury he's only a mishap away from being thrown in against the Saffas. I know Christie has his haters but his delivery isn't much different from Hotham's and has at least been there done that.
Razor complained post first match about how much slower the All Blacks became once Perenara went off. Christie has no offensive ability, and Razor noticed.
@@jordanious7711you’re delusional
I think new zealand will take this RC
The all blacks / boks is a much see matches as both teams have a point to prove so I think that it'll grudge matches of note
Not pleased to see Havili and Cane but the rest of the squad looks excellent!
legit question, What is with everyone wanting savea at 7? he won world player of the year at 8, obviously hes pretty good at it.
like Razor's 36. Delighted Jordan is back but sad to think that Beaudie will probably start on the bench....
Darry and Hotham are also in
Yeah they both got games in July so I didn't put them as "in" 😅
@@TwoCentsRugby Fair enough! Save that whiteboard pen ink for the next video. Looking forward to it!
Solid
Sititi should go in at 6
Homeboy is shorter than Ardie, so gonna struggle with aerial game (especially lineouts and kick-offs). Finau needs to be given time to develop and also Cam Suafoa (you need someone that's at leat 1.96)
@@jacquesbooysen3773 yup, give Finau time and I agree with Suafoa. He is good, physical blindside with the ability to backup at lock if everything turns to custard in a game.
I don't think razor has chosen love as full back!!!..... he is looking at a new first five for 2027.... what do you think?
All those 9s are quality, probably agree Christie didn’t have the best English series. I think for years you guys just relied on having Arron smith there.
Yeah Ratima - from the limited game time - looks the business aye - be interesting to see how he goes/what kind of game time he gets
We have had good half backs but fozzie was steadfastly loyal to Christie. Brad Weber should have been the one to go to the world cup.
@@TwoCentsRugbyI actually felt bad for Cam Roigard, the form he had a SRP I thought I’d see him in a black jersey for sure.
@@johnmcdonald-6196 Injured mate, otherwise 1st choice.
@@JTAIT-b7g yeah sorry mate I didn’t articulate that well. He was unlucky due to his injury.
Very tough call on Narawa. Not sure what he did wrong, he didn't get many opportunities. How did Reben Love slip ahead .....
Christie being dropped was fair enough, he was given an opportunity and was ordinary. Hotham clearly took his chance showed he is ready for international rugby.
Christy was fantastic on defense but not quite as sharp as others on attack
Jordie Barrett did Emoni Narawa dirty by not passing him the ball during a breakout attack and a huge overlap. Then Narawa dropped the ball with a weird offload. He only had 20 minutes against Fiji but by then the game was very messy and loose with multiple mistakes and inaccurate passing by both teams.
Not surprising to see Cane and Havili in the squad, given they had been informally involved in the squad against England. Many forget how hard this championship is going to be. Especially two tests in SA. With possibly S Barrett out, experience is key.
Havili and cane suck.
@@Edgycoo You don't get 95 caps if you suck, besides he was part of the 2015 RWC winning squad. So whatever you're whining about is irrelevant.
All blacks forward pack has been looking so flat last few weeks, can anyone think of a better option than cane? Cause frizel ain't coming home anytime soon
Frizell only had a handful of decent test appearances himself. Was completely anonymous in the rwc final
I might be on my own but I still prefer Ardie at 7 than Cane.
From a neutral point of view. I think it's more interesting to see if Argentina or Australia finish last. Sorry to say this Mark, but I think South Africa will be walking away with it this year as Rassie is targeting the tournaments between the world Cup
They play to win every game, they just say they dont when they lose.
No one in NZ falls for Rassies mind games they can "target" whatever they want.
There are more Crusaders than Blues in the squad even though the Blues topped the competition and Crusaders were the last placed New Zealand team. Robertson certainly has his favourites.
you can't include Jordan, Blackadder, Taylor, havilli in that statement. they hardly played. Could of been a different outcome if they did?
lol that's how it is. I'm a Blues man but certainly when the margins are small between players it comes down to who you trust, plus we all have our favourites #BluesAllDay #AllBlacksEverything
That is correct, and based on this, the AB's under Foster should have had a lot more Crusaders and playing a Crusaders style game. Razor is picking the players he trusts. It's simple
@zaheerlarey1294 they did thou. What r u talking bout
@sebastianfortuin1318 Christie, Grace, Sanders, Taufua out played Hoskins & Akira every single year, and more time was invested in Hoskins and Akira.
2022- Newell & Williams destroyed the Blues held their own in SA and yet was behind Blues props.
Bryn Hall was 1 of the greatest 9's in SR, and yet never got a chance
Fainga'anuku should have been part of the AB's in 2022, but they insisted on Caleb, and he didn't deliver. Should I continue ?🤔
Not sure why Razor wants Cane & Havili back in the squad..i agree with letting Christie & Narawa go as they both offered nothing but c'mon man...Cane? Havili? Oh well..Razor knows best...go the mighty All Blacks
Mannn ardie would be ama smashing 7, world player of year but undersized 8, gimme ardie 7 Sititi 8 finau 6
Agreed!
With that 7+8
You'd need Blackadder or Jacobson at 6
Finau or similar on the bench to bringon impact
Ardie was never great at 7, he only became great when he started playing 8.
This is the squad, not Saturdays team,??? OLD NEWS.!!
This strong squad can win the rugby championship. There is better front row and with Razor -Ryan front row specialist , they can match boks . Just with Foster clown and Ryan , they matched boks and won in Ellis park . So imagine with Razor and don’t forget guru Wayne smith in the staff coaching ( tactical master). Razor will use Wayne smith ‘ mastermind !
Our scrum has been better than the boks for a long time. The boks were 5th in scrums at the cup
They already hold the Rugby Championship. They'll be defending it.
@@Edgycoono it hasn't remember 35-7 took your props on a ride and injured them
@@subbie5498 your scrum was not good at the rwc. Proven by stats. You lost a scrum vs us in the final. That only happened to you, not us.
our props are our weakness ..... machines need engines to go forward .....our props have gone soft/lazy ....
Like Savea said on his interview. Its a business. We should not feel sorry for Cane and how his last game went. Cant stand the guy. Brings loser energy. One dimensional type of player.
The old man Boks will be trying to hit this team with their canes. Just kidding, those two games will be humdingers. I think they'll split the matches between them. The Championship will come down to bonus points or points differential between those two sides, in my opinion.
Why do NZ have to play South Africa twice in South Africa? Seems like quite an unlucky draw for us.
I think they're trying to reduce the travel rigours of TRC aye. So one year we get Arg twice at home and SA twice away, then the next year it'll be SA twice at home and Arg twice away. Cos Aus are just across the ditch we still keep home/away. Likewise the Boks and Arg boys will maintain home/away
👍🏻
Plummer over Havilli,
Defs long term. Harry is young luckily. This is his first brilliant season. Last season he was solid and before then he was very hit and miss.
@@Tom_McMurtry I agree.....mind you, this season Havilli was not good
I totally forgot about the existence of Will Jordan. Guy is quite a mashine. Won games for the AB solely
Sayin beaudy first five is a joke hes bench 15 10 cover sll day would luv to see him and jordan link up and how they look
Don't agree with Cane. Not sure about Havili but he does cover plenty.
Yeah I think he fits Razor's mould and will be useful in terms of experience if he travels to what my dad is calling "Bokland". Maybe a touch of sentimentality getting him to 100 caps before he retires? I can't imagine it be a real factor, but it'd be nice
@@TwoCentsRugby Yeah but hopefully they pick on form and not sentiment. If Cane gets to his ton by performing then good on him.
Yeah he in and still not 100 percent fit so don't really see why we would risk playing him. We have better options
Your not sure about havili?🤣crufaders bias right there,he's shit thats why u guys didn't even make QF's
Cane is there on his merits, cap 100 or no cap 100, Razor would never cap an All Black that didn't qualify, in my opinion. Razor's 'love' is big, but it doesn't cloud his judgement.
Need to stop the out of position merry go round now - Savea to 7, bring in Sititti as a proper sized 8; Riko to wing, ALB or Proctor to centre; Will Jordan to 15, freeing BB to either start at 10, or come on as impact / closing down the game sub.
Dalton needs to be at 7 he was big against England. Hi tackle count , good ball carry good at lineout and was a nuisance at the brekdown. Cane can takle mosly yes but he missed some key tackles last year leading to world cup so wasnt at his best. Caine hasnt troubled the breakdown legally foqr years he gives so many penalties away. Not a good ball carqrierq either. So really dont see how he can even be in the hunt for what now should be Daltons jersey as Dalton was good last year and was good against England where our 7s have struggledin the past
Sam Cane won us the quarter against Ireland. Was huge.
@@Tom_McMurtryAgree
Ugh, David Havili is NOT test match worthy.
They left out Narawa WTF
Other wingers playing too good bruv but emoni didn't really get a proper chance which tells me they were always going to pick the other wingers
Christie and Perenara’s passing is slow and inaccurate. This made it hard for Jordie and Rieko.
Ratima passing is way better.People fail to see this. Will Jordan scored 31 test tries playing outside Rieko.
Rieko is incredible athlete he is the fastest guy in the team.Apparently he is incredibly strong for a back.
Dropping Narawa is criminal. Especially when you choose Havili who is a bum at test level.
@TeeJy145 What opportunity has he had at test level? Had a great game in Argentina last year then never got another opportunity. Havilis had chance after chance and he's proved time and again he's just a bum.
Narawa sucks
Narawa is an outside back. Which of the selected outside backs would you drop for Narawa?
@DavidSmith-yi8ou Love if we are talking outside backs. We already have 3 Fullbacks in the squad. But id still drop Havili, because he's a bum.
@@DavidSmith-yi8ou great question. None.
What a surprise to Christie out for a Crusader and another useless Crusader in Havili come into the team.
I cant help but feel N.Z backed Razor but Razor still just backs Canterbury
Finlay Christie was arguably one of the worst players on the pitch against England, Havilli is in the squad because he can play almost anywhere from 10-15.
Razor will win
As a Blues I both applaud the decision to drop Christie and shake my head at Havili being selected
Yep agree christie didn't go well but havili that's a crufaders bias if I ever seen one, shocking,I think we're desperate for mid fielders

Gutted for Emoni.
Awesome all blacks squad for the rugby championship I’ll can see All Blacks going unbeaten this year
Wow huge statement these days would love to buy into that with ya but just about impossible to not drop 1 game but with razor possible,a couple of banana skin games there in the northern hemisphere I believe
Frankly i have no issues with the selection. But the reasons given by the coaching team differs on which player they justify to be selected.
Sam Cane - selected based on test caps and experience. However has not performed this season. They want to give him an
un- derserved 100 caps.
Havili - Selected based on Utility Value. Not impressive in Super Rugby
Hothem - Selected based on one cameo appearance against Fiji. Hope for the future.
George bell - Selected based on one cameo appearance against Fiji. Hope for the future.
The whole selection narrative fails.
Quote from Razor " we want continuity but also reward performance". Un quote.
So where do these players fit? What is the message we are sending to the players in Super rugby?
Play your heart and be not be selected ahead of these injured guys! how do you motivate the next generation.
There are alot Super Rugby players who are better than these walking wounded.
Plus Steve Hansens policy was if you are not in NZ next season, you are out, like Piatoa.
I am an ardent NZ rugby fan. Thats why i feel the pain.
Jordan reece telelea or clark unreal back 3
Love Jordan Reece or even reko
@philliproberts7294 Love/Perofetta, Jordan, Clarke. Jordan should stay where he has scored his 30 tries. If not, why pick Love
peopke quick to forget that he cost the ABs the RWC final for sending off
No, Ardie cost the final by knocking on by an otherwise brilliant try and us missing kicks. We don't know whether an extra player would have made a difference but the try and kicks definitely would have
Why bother investing in Havili. Age and proven track record of not performing against him. Not even a drop of form.
Good at covering everywhere and great to run training as playing for the opposition team at training. Harry Plummer should replace him for the next world cup in the future I think
@@Tom_McMurtry Ahhh he isn't even in the top 3 in the positions he plays except midfield. Why? Cause there's 2 midfielders in each position. We have enough cover in his positions.
Go Argentina, best chance of beating them again at home. Scrumhalves are green and so are the reserve locks. Barret and Patrick are not at full fitness the other locks are greeeen. Not a balanced loose trio either, that’s why the Hail Mary for Sam Cane. Who won’t be fit in time for Argentina
Pretty predictable. My only question is Havili. I don't think he is up to it any more. Never was really
Why David Havili? Doesn't deserve to be in the squad. Not a centre & has been exposed in position. I dont rate him as a ALL Black, hasn't really step up as a test player on a consistent basis. Hot n cold, mainly cold. Let's see how he goes.
But Razor likes him and trusts him. Had a couple of good SR years but never been safe as an All Black. What was it they use to say about a boys club hmmmm🤔
Can you actually read the names before you add context? Pointless without this
The squad is on screen and apart from the few charges discussed is the exact same one from July - so yeah it seemed kinda overkill to go through every guy for mine
yep... that Ranga kid is mud
Havili is way too soft
Blackadder looks busy, does little
Front row world class, second row 2nd tier.
Hope TJP has spent more time practicing his passing instead of hakas in the mirror.
Ioane should play on the wing, allow ALB to have another crack.
Get rid of JB for ALB. He will move the ball and create gaps for Ioane and our wingers to go through
@@markreilly105 Ioane the weaker defender of the two but the better attacker - his move to the winger the better option. Drop Dwarf Reece
Havili yeah nah, pass.
Crufaders bias bullshit he doesn't deserve it wtf?he was terrible this year he better play like king Kong to pay them back
Why is Cane back in the squad for? We know who he is. Hes no Savea. Hes was part of the failure previous regime. Bring in the young guys or let the ones they already have play 7.
Yeah he's not Savea but not trying to be Savea. But yeah it's an interesting one given Razor could have looked for more future guys
@TwoCentsRugby Think they need to start thinking of core role plus extra. Just like how Sotutu was looked over. Because of his ruck work. Cane might have good tackles but offensively he is non existent. When you want the x-factor or that big play to turn the game I think McCaw or Savea to get a turnover. Or Paps with a half gap run etc England and SA with their suffocating D is why we need multi dimensional players in today's game.
Sotutu's omission still baffles me aye, unless he's just a real prick or something....
@@TwoCentsRugbythat’s what I’m thinking too, he must be a pain the a for him not to be included
@@TwoCentsRugbydefensively didn't look near as good
Razor trash n the team announcement for the All Blacks trash too 🤭🤭🤭
Razor hasn't impressed me one iota since he's taken over. Terrible selector. Just as bad as Fozzie with the weak teams he's picking.
And I was so hopeful
Sam Cane 🙄🫣 clearly NZ haven't learnt their lesson
