My best friend, Robert, got me into AVGN back in 2007. He was obsessed with the series. He bought a 3DO just to play Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. He passed away suddenly in 2016, and tbh it's kind of hard to watch these because we used to discuss them and we can't anymore.
One of my fondest memories was being at the AVGN movie premiere in Hollywood. When the crowd chanted “NERD!”, that was YOUR moment to shine, but it made me so happy to know I wasn't the only fan. Thank you for everything so far. Can't wait for episode 200!

It's crazy for me when he brings up old episodes like superman, it brings back a wave of nostalgia from jr high and here I am now 28 and still watching haha
I can't believe you mentioned Dark Castle without addressing the angry German mental breakdown! There's one moment I will never forget... easily one of the funniest jokes in the entire series.

Two of my favourites: the Castlevania series and the Earthbound episode.
i just recently got the Castlevania games on ps4 because of the Castlevaniathon episodes
The Earthbound episode was a masterpiece. Hands down his best work imo.

I haven’t watched a nerd episode in a long while but merely hearing about the existence of episode 200 blew my mind.
"WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!" Is common vernacular said in AVGN style among my friends still to this day.
One of my favorites is the Texas chainsaw massacre. I love the interactions with the crazy people in that episode. "It's still a hundred."
TCM is by far my favorite AVGN episode! I don't know why, I just love it.
