fun fact, the slower your speed is; the more compacted each note is. for faster speeds, every note is spaced out more to make sure that it’s actually possible to hit the notes! not sure if people knew this, but i hoped it helped :)
It makes it so you basically still need the same speed in which you tap, but the slower it is, the more time you actually get to process and think how and when you're gonna tap. I feel like people rarely even look or check at the song rhythm anymore and just go apeshit crazy on notes in the hopes they hit them..

It is a little over a year ahead of the english version, so be patient and the songs will be added eventually. How to download the japanese server (because it’s frequently asked): For iOS: -create a Japanese apple ID (there are several tutorials on how to do this) For Android: -set a VPN’s location to Japan to gain access to the Japanese Google Play Store -OR use QooApp The Japanese server is a DIFFERENT application, meaning you will have to make a new account for that server, but you will keep your account from the english server.

I think it's enjoyable in small amounts. I used to really like ready steady and roki. But they're picked so often I've grown so incredibly tired of hearing them. I always just prefer to let it randomize so I get a variety, but since that's so hard to come by on the eng servers I almost never play co-op.

I play this game only to chill and vibe with the song and Im not that good at rhythm games so speed 6 and HARD difficulty is my default (I successfully cleared EXPERT diff only if they're less than lv 24), although I rarely touch EASY and NORMAL for the exact reason that its too slow… so I kinda understand your frustration.

Personal Unpopular Opinion: Is it wrong for me to assume any songs involving MMJ is just there to make people suffer or for the fact two of the songs that I know feel like they don't fit?
You should say the "make people" suffer part on 25ji, almost all of their songs are swing based, not to mention their difficulties are mostly higher than their intended numbers (way too obvious on some Ex charts) because they refuse to give 25ji a 27+ ex and 32+ mas songs, actually same can be said to MMJ. They never had a 27 ex up until the devs decided to push Tenshi no Clover to 27 instead of 26

Sort of False. There are directional flicks (the diagonal ones), but if you flick in the wrong direction you will get a great instead of a miss.

I remember when I was just 3 days playing Project Sekai yet, I thought that the more speed the more sufferment so I would play at 4.0- Then I realized that i kept on messing up because it was too slow for me, now I play at 9.5 speed and make full combos on hard at just one week of playing it, I hope one day to do one of those on expert.

when i first started playing mobile rhythm games (april 2020) i used to play arcaea at 1 speed. i have since learned that slow speeds are the worst.

When i started playing thought 1.0 speed makes things easier but literally that was a bad choice and now im playing at speed 10.0
I started out playing on 5.5 speed and that was pretty fast like 3 days ago. Now I play on 9 or 10 and it's so much easier...
Update two months later: 10.6 speed is my usual and I can almost full combo the amazing voice of hatsune miku on expert.

For the longest time when I first started playing I only used 5.2 speed and I always wondered why it was so hard and then the second I switched to 9.3 everything became so much easier

Is it wrong for me to assume any songs involving MMJ is just there to make people suffer or for the fact two of the songs that I know feel like they don't fit?
idk, i personally really like mmj songs, tenshi no clover, more jump more are two of my fav proseka songs
You should say the "make people" suffer part on 25ji, almost all of their songs are swing based, not to mention their difficulties are mostly higher than their intended numbers (way too obvious on some Ex charts) because they refuse to give 25ji a 27+ ex and 32+ mas songs, actually same can be said to MMJ. They never had a 27 ex up until the devs decided to push Tenshi no Clover to 27 instead of 26

I used to think if I could full combo hard then I could turn down the speed to 8 and at least pass expert but when I tried after a few seconds I was arl dead
So this is how I find out playing at a speed of 3 is apparently not normal? ...that explains some things.
