@@prophecybydefault4708 Way in his defense Adam is dam near godlike. In the comics it was Adam who started the guardians of the galaxy and it was him who Thanos looked at as the main threat. He even Worked with Thanos a few times and is probly the closest thing Thanos has ever had to a friend. His comics were like doctor strange on steroids and twice as much acid.

Drax was a Human that was Transformed into that
It was changed at some point. At first he was a dude from earth that was created to kill Thanos. Later they changed it to Drax being an alien with a revenge story. He was also changed a lot in many comics to the point that he was just another generic hero. They even made him very smart at one point and basically sucked all the fun out of the character. it was horrible.

I don't know why they went hyperrealistic with different actors. Should have gone more cartoon or comic like if that was their choice.
Also the acting is not great. It's got that "horrible woke actors who can't act like real humans" taste. Everything is like some bad CW teen drama.
The women are especially bad, not that the men are much better.
