The survival of mankind hangs in the balance when Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, usurps Egypt's throne and plunges the prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. Also Chad's vocal inflections seemed to add a charismatic knowledge & depth that validated his character's cadence. It's a clever way to make the role more memorable.

Worked as an extra in this film and had the once in a lifetime chance to speak with him one on one. We talked about how to pronounce the name of his character. He was very nice and down to earth and I feel so sad about his death like I knew him :/ rest in peace Chadwick... So so sad and shocked

The clones might be extensions of himself, so if the Sphinx kills the clone it would feed back into Thoth. Similarly, when Set killed Thoth the clones would be killed too

😭😭😭 The world lost a gem of an actor yesterday. Chadwick was so young. I’m grateful we have his wonderful body of work to seem him basically live on forever as his characters, but man this hurts.
Sis I know. It's hitting me super hard right now. Guess it's sinking in. He was one of my favorite newer actors, and I just loved how he did us Justice. I saw Marshall last month, and you absolutely forget that they don't look alike, but he just captures the people he portrays beautifully. Sad there won't be anymore movies or stories...Heartbroken.
