This circuit will work but it will not work for a long time. Maximum output current of CD4017 is only 3 mA. MOSFET's gate is a condenser, so initial current to charge it at the moment transistor starts to open is endless high. Normally buffer transistors driver should be used or at least resistors ~4kOhm should be connected between the outputs ##2&7 and MOSFET's gates.
Your videos are great, explains a lot, a personal suggestion kindly use professional methods e.g. Use zero board and sockets for ic's etc. If anything happens ics can be replaced and on a bord it is more reliable and safe as well.
To get 200W at the output, 16.6A of the battery is required (200W / 12V = 16.6 A). Hola... si hacés el mismo circuito oscilador y cambias el trafo por uno de mas amperaje llegará? O tendríamos que ver los mofest si aguantan esa potencia?
@@lukardy uno tienes que estudiar el comportamiento de baterías y su máxima efectividad eso es ley de war y tiempo ,tipo de batería sólida o de asido ejemplo 12.5v amperaje 55 tiempo 1hora no puedes superar el trafo de 55 amperios y el tiempo ok dos solucionar tiempo si usas 55amperios te dura una hora tiempo y si usas la mitad te dura 2horas y la realidad es que sili puedes usar entre un voltio o dos como máximo eso significa asta 10.5 máximo y estás echando a perder la batería luego la frecuencia y poner un comparador de salida para que no suba de más eso significa si usar 110v no suba a más y si baja se quema explico la batería del carro se carga a 14v y poco se descarga a 13.5v eso significa que el comparador bajara la corriente para mantener los 110v pero cuando la batería esté en 10.5 se estará can mentado el comparador y otras piezas y sabiendo que la onda es cuadrada eso es demasiado rápido que da 110v y baja a 0v entonces solo puedes conectar un foco o taladro y todo lo electrónico se quemaría entonse esto que bes es solo un experimento escolar y no una solución y no es recomendable usa este sistema ok.
NO ,it's not that way......5A at the primary in this case. At the secondary it will be a little less than 1 amp at 240v. But theoritically if you want 1 Amp at 240v then you will feed approx 20 Amps at 12v DC. (Primary).

You can see this happening when the 100W bulb got dimmer after connecting another one. If it really is 200W both bulbs shoul be at full brightest but theyre not.

Can anybody give a ball park figure based on different types of batteries eg standard 12v car battery, marine/leisure battery with Around 150 watt load. Also size of heatsinks please. I know r This sounds a bit curt but no offence meant. I just don’t want to be disappointed if the drain is high
Aí eu fiz esse Boa tarde fiz esse seu que você fez aí que tem um potenciômetro mas não funcionou e eu voltei aquele primeiro que tá lá mostrando que usa 3 transistor 3 resistor de uma potência x lá e outro de 330k acho que é isso mesmo e esse funcionou só que quando liguei as duas duas lâmpadas que é menos do que um ventilador e a televisão ele esquentou tanto esquentou tanto que estourou em funciona ou não Não sei se é porque é só para testar na hora que você liga teste tira mais para deixar direto não aguenta não funciona não

and the transformer itself is not sufficient for more than 60 W load. So it will not work for long period..
you can use the output of coil in brushless fan to generate PURE SINE WAVE

The gentleman meant, and I think it says 220V transformer output. So there we already calculate that 5Ax220V is 1100W.

Pure sine you should use either TL494 or SG3525. These integrated circuits make a pure sine wave.
