      RobinHoodUKIP Spot on with that comment there mate. Fury is great even If he can be abit boring in the ring. I don't think he's going to be mentally and physically fit for wilder. I don't think wilder is great but that right hand of his is a bomb and fury won't beable to run around a pick his punches like he does when and if he fights wilder.

      If you want to know why people think Americans are stupid- listen to this interviewer. He's ready to believe everything he hears which validates what he wants to believe. Contrast that to people who listen to Eddie and actually break-down, analyse what he is saying alongside how plain business models make sense and work, and say "yeah, that checks out". @jaiyeola monday I think Eddie hates the fact that they are fighting each other because I am pretty sure he had planned on having the 2 paydays with A.J. He doesn't want Wilder bumping Fury off before he had Joshua fighting him. It caught him off guard and he admits he would have tried harder to sign him to do 2 fights and then fight A.J.

    Eddie’s maintaining a poker face here. Make no mistake, he is seething about Fury/Wilder being made. It’s not hard to figure out why.
    Forget about what he’s saying about the eventual Joshua/Wilder being huge after Deontay wins. What it really means is that Joshua has lost one of two available super fights because the loser of Wilder/Fury is no longer the same proposition it would’ve been for Joshua. Hearn wanted AJ to fight Wilder THEN Fury, both of them still undefeated, both of them still monster fights. Wilder/Fury has destroyed that plan.

    I’m interested to see what the fight does PPV wise hard to predict the US market in my opinion. I think UK tho won’t do over 250,000 for two reasons the casual fan won’t buy it and the time of the event if in Vegas that’s 5am only the hardcore will stay up for it. But I’ll be one of them haha

Ye his stock may go up? And get more of a bargaining chip! But he can't be credited for beating Fury right now! Maybe in a years time! Which ironically thats when he was pencilled in to fight Aj!!! Because Eddie didn't want any excuses if Aj won! So why is wilder doing it now??? Bargaining power? All he cares about is money!! I know its prize fighting, but think how you will be remembered??🤔😉👍

    600-800K in both US and UK giving 1.2-1.6m total at an average $50 price gives $60-80m total. Add the live gate of $20m and $20m delayed rights this is a $100-120m revenue fight. Take away broadcasters/promoters cut the fighters get to share $60-80m including their guarantee. Yes so at a minimum Joshua and Fury each make $30m which is more than AJ's biggest purse against Klitschko. Meet the new A-SIDE Eddie !!

    Remember when Hearn and Joshua where calling him out after he announced his come back and they laughed when he wanted a few warm up fights now Hearn is saying he needs another warm up or two before a big fight. I do t understand Eddie sometimes. But I agree he isn’t bothered about the fury wilder fight. He knows Tyson isn’t back to his best just yet and wilder is a strong powerful fighter so he is happy the fight is happening because if wilder wins the wilder/Joshua fight becomes a massive mega fight.

    I like the way he pulls Eddie up on saying fury needed to fight 2 fighters then AJ but then says it's to soon for him to fight wilder 🤣😂🤣 then says 4 warm up fights is to many but says he not ready for wilder. Why has no one commented on this! Eddie Hearn is a joker but great promoter

    I agree with what eddie says except the bit about not being able to outbox wilder for 12 rounds. Tyson isn't ready to fight wilder but he can get fit enough and is skilled and awkward enough to outbox wilder for 12 rounds

  • @chrisodom2650
    @chrisodom2650 6 лет назад

    Wilder is being avoided by Hearn and Femi (Joshua's real name). They price themselves out and have to have it in their country. But It's going to be a knockout so it doesn't matter where the fight takes place. No corrupt judge will be making any decision. Those belts will be taken so Hearn should hang on to them and make money off the belts while he can before they lose them.

    Eddie Hearn for once talked the truth by accident and then started stuttering. He wanted Tyson to have only 2 fights and then fight AJ, hoping to catch him still not ready. Wilder as well trying to get Tyson before he becomes 100%. Still the Casino has Wilder Fury at equal money odds.

      They gave their intent to sign after the questions were answered and instead of getting the answers, this farce of a deadline came up and all of a sudden there was nothing to be done to hold off the all powerful sanctioning body?! Team Wilder wanted to fight in September and was the reason to accept the low deal and when this became known they had the sanctioning body to come in with empty threats. I hope it all still works out, but it is obvious team Joshua didn't want the bout just yet imo.

    If Warren stated that he was involved in getting the funding for Joshua vs Wilder, and that the fight was going to be on BT Sport, as Eddie Hearn claims, then that was definitely a non-starter; that would be like Oscar De La Hoya saying he was getting the funding for Mayweather vs Pacquioa [before it happened] and that the fight was going to be exclusively on HBO.
    I also have my doubts, like Hearn, about the Fury/Wilder fight not happening this year, but also believe that [if it does] Fury and Warren could be taking a gamble on defeating Wilder and getting the April date at Wembley [which has already been booked by Hearn] against Joshua. If they can beat both guys they will have a strangle hold on the heavyweight division but I dare say that people who hated Klitschko's reign will hate Fury's a lot more because of the fact he wins ugly and doesn't have a high KO percentage, and most casuals watch heavyweight boxing for the KO and that casuals bring the money.

    Appreciate how Nes presses Eddie with tough questions, but he lets his friendship with Wilder overule common sense. I've listened to a few shows this week and they have cut callers off just because they're starting to question the inconsistencies within the way Finkel operates with Fury versus how he operates with Joshua/Hearn. For example, Finkel stalled on a contract and then stated he couldn't sign it because if has no venue or date on it (even though common sense dictated the venue was Cardiff and the date was October). However, the fury fight has no venue or date, but suddenly that's no issue? Secondly, Finkel happily sent Fury a contract BEFORE Fury accepted the fight, yet Finkel refused to do so with Joshua. Why? And thirdly, Warren has now explained that the $50m offer was based on the fight being on BT. Everyone knows Joshua is tied in with Sky Sports (He was under contract until November 2018 but at the time of the "negotiations" was in talks over a 3 year extension - which he has signed + plus the DAZN deal). Yet nobody on this show other than Rob is willing to talk about the legitmancy of the offer. Hell, I've heard guys on here talk shit about Hearn for even discussing the idea of Wilder fighting on DAZN and he doesn't even have a contract with Showtime. Hypocrisy at its finest. Anyway, other than that, it's a good show.

    If Joshua or wilder manage to KO fury then they deserve credit. Both guys have power but can they outbox fury ? People slam fury so hard it’s unreal. I think the casual’s seem to forget we are watching boxing , yes BOXING and not who’s the biggest puncher
