This is the type of build that deserves a special grown-up-master-builders-and-tweakers category. I'd be a bit worried that children and many parents may not get it to work properly if it depends on room temperature, humidity and the greasiness of the builder's hands. For adults it can be a great challenge and puzzle to get it to work. Maybe I just want to say, don't be sad if Lego does not choose to box your set for such a reason, many of viewers find it awesome.
Would love to have one. Add some white leds, maybe 3 blue inside thoae transparent cones and you have a mind blowing christmas decoration.

What I love the most about this build (apart from the great design) is the little sideways slide of the skiers at the bottom of the lift. It reminds me so much of the real thing, when you have to adjust a bit to get in the correct position for a seat or to catch a bar
was thinking the same, such a great little movement makes it look so much more alive!

Your combining to separate things in the video he uses a TOW ROPE this is usually used for the parks (ski jumps) the Chairlift is a chair high above the ground

I love that the skiers actually ski down the slope! Before watching the video I naively assumed they would be fixed to something that was moving them round.
Yeah. Add a cabin to the side and it'll be just right. And some of us were there to see this creation being built during a Livestream. I was there.

This should be an official Lego set.
It also reminds me of one of those old toys from the flea market with the little dolphins, or penguins, in which they get carried higher up on the set, and slide down, and back around again!
This would make an incredible Christmas/holiday set.

This is one of your finest creations. And that's saying something! The idea and the way it is fit inside such a small body is so creative. I especially love the height adjustment function and the way it basically splits the entire mechanism in two parts... Absolutely going to support it on Lego Ideas, would love to see it become an official set.
This is really cool. The slope itself also looks a lot better now in my opinion. I supported this project and I hope other people do too, because I think this set would do great. However, for some reason I wish it was some sort of ski cafe instead of a lodge.
Now I want that never ending penguin stairs/rollercoaster ramp in Lego. Honestly just this ski lift would make a great ideas set on its own

Oh, now this is brilliant. Fantastic work. So simple on the surface, but only because of the degree of thoughtfulness that had to go into it ahead of time.
Oh man, I love this. I built a few ski-lifts out of Lego as a kid, and I also built "winter sports" downhill tracks (bobsleds) This is elegant and amazing. I think you should offset the "berms" a little so the skiers turn a bit more.

This reminds me of those "Baby Einstein" videos I watched as a toddler! I remember some penguin-themed kinetic contraption that had a similar satisfying rise/fall cycle.

I like the turntables, I do remember how awkward the mechanism seemed on the first attempt.. it seems a lot smoother from this video, great stuff today, keep on building!
