It's been my experience buying cars from copart, quality of the car and care is based on how much gas is in the tank. Cars on E or less then a quarter of a tank aren't taken care of, cars with half and above are well maintained, including tires. The Murano will be nice when repaired, amazing how much damage a deer hit can cause.
In my experience, the cleaner the interior is, the better the car was taken care of.
Had a 2019 SL Murano in pearl white with the tech package. Great SUV with the 3.5 engine growl. Only thing that held this SUV back is the CVT.
At O'Reilly's it might be a good idea to get a repair manual just so you know where stuff goes once you replace it and also it's a good reference point when working on the car

Cool purchase hopefully the transmissions holds up I knew a lot of people that had these and the transmissions failed I'd flush the transmissions asap lol
These newer ones don't suffer the same issues as the old ones. Replacement transmissions are cheap
Shops in my area call them "Snake Farm" for a reason

for the price its a good buy. You are probably planning to do it already but service that CVT. By the look of things (cheap tires and bald) it was run on the cheap but some good TLC it will be a reliable runner.
That was a good price, careful with the transmission though.

Lots of luck to ya Todd. You found a poor example of a problematic car. Before I commented I searched to see if the CVT issue was resolved and got mixed reviews, some 17's last others fail early. Based on how cheap you got it, the buying public has no confidence. Maybe it will work in your favor.🤘
The first muranos in the early 2000s and the 2015 are the ones to avoid

I hope you wont run into electrical issues with this murano..they are notorious with sll modules it have especially obd codes that are way off from actual problem 😅
Make sure you service the transmission. But otherwise you’ve got a lot of work to do.
Did you try Rock auto for some parts ? Cause headlights sound very expensive !

Keep the Honda, this shit box is going to cost you way more as Honda's never break if you maintain them, but Nissans break a lot.
