It worked for a Navigator 2010 but there's just two bolts. Brake pedal was mysteriously high. I thought my brake pedal was bent. My mechanic didn't even find this solution! You rock!!! Thank you!
Not only can I comfortably reach now, it actually fixed my lagging issue due to the pedal being stuck to the floor and essentially flooding the engine. Right on guy.
I did this temp fix today, 1st off the top screw on the cover is a b**ch to get off(I also unhooked the electric connector above it for more space)! 2nd, soon as I removed the cover I pressed the pedal adj. button down and my gas pedal went all the way down! 3rd, it was not that easy to turn the gear. I had to use channel locks to get it to move. When you turn the gear all the way counter clockwise you will notice the pedal in the same position BUT DON'T WORRY! Just push the brake pedal with your hand and it will go all the way down! Then just put it all back together in reverse and your done! Down the road I will buy the pedal assembly but for now I told my wife DO NOT TOUCH THE ADJUSTMENT BUTTON! Hope this helps
This is what I needed for my 2005 navigator. I can live with it set to 1 place

Worked perfectly on my 03. My wife and I are both 6 foot and only had the truck for a few months it was a pain in traffic. Thanks again
I wondered why the brake pedal was so close and the gas so far!!! LOL Thanks for the video will be doing this!
The brake pedal extended but never retracted.
You are my new hero. Thanx!

How do you do the fast pedal
Can I buy just the gear?

Hi. What about find a new parts and resolve the problem at all. 🙋🏻♂️👍🏻
My 01 has the same problem.
How hard is it to fully REPAIR the problem, versus simply circumventing the feature?
Thanks for the video!
I saw a vid where the guy replaced the whole pedal assembly. The part was $200.
Find a junk yard (pull a part) look for one with a non broken gear and grab it take it home and put it in. Pick up 2 or 3 while you’re there!
