I think cameras in the courtroom are a great thing. It allows the public to see the trial in real-time and ensures that justice is being served. Plus it is a great tool to learn about the justice system.

He has never come into a new plea hearing in the courthouse and plead guilty under oath before the Judge. So there will still be a trial starting January 8, 2024.

I live very close to Delphi and my husband has worked with him. The way he acts about this case in press conferences is so out of baseline for how he is normally. I think Allan probably did it, but I think it ia the the superintendent of Indiana police Doug Carter who screwed the pooch when it came to this case. It’s obscene and absurd that he wasn’t arrested earlier, and Doug Carter is hiding something. Someone on this case blew it in the worst way imaginable, and Doug Carter knows it. If Delphi were one of the wealthier cities in central Indiana, this would never have gone on this long. I hate Richard Allen but I also seethe with anger for Doug Carter, who lives in the same Indianapolis suburb that I do.

No. Each case is handled on its own merits. It's not as though judges are all prepped to accuse individual defense attorneys of hypocrisy. Especially in capital cases, the procedural preferences of the defense tend to carry a good deal of weight. After all, someone's life is at stake.

So, RA never officially confessed. Allegedly, he told his wife on a phone call that he "did it"- that he killed the girls, but we as the public have never seen or heard any A/V or legally documented proof of that nor has he legally confessed in court. The manner of death is defined as the type of death: for example- suicide, homicide, accidental, natural, etc. So, from the autopsy report, we know the manner of death with these 2 young girls is homicide and we also know that the cause of death is by a sharp object. (Most likely a knife but not necessarily, and it has never been stated directly it was a knife, as far as I know.) Refer to 1:13 in the video.

It would be fun to tell a murderer he can't have something. I advocate freedom of speech because it gets so many murderers convicted on their own words. Recording him might make it easier to get a conviction, or at least I hope it would.

I've never heard that allen described the manner if death in his confession. I think the attorney misspoke.
So, RA never officially confessed. Allegedly, he told his wife on a phone call that he "did it"- that he killed the girls, but we as the public have never seen or heard any A/V or legally documented proof of that nor has he legally confessed in court. The manner of death is defined as the type of death: for example- suicide, homicide, accidental, natural, etc. So, from the autopsy report, we know the manner of death with these 2 young girls is homicide and we also know that the cause of death is by a sharp object. (Most likely a knife but not necessarily, and it has never been stated directly it was a knife, as far as I know.) Refer to 1:13 in the video.

This cruel case was confusing from the beginning on. That it took so long to catch the killer, Is there the defendents DNA found at the crime scene...Idk what to think about this case. He looks sick and deranged to me, anything is possible.
I’m thinking he looks sick & deranged because inmates don’t take kindly to those that commit heinous crimes against children. You have to remember that this case was on the news for a long time & when the inmates found out RA was in their facility, I’m positive he’s had a very rough time there!
