my biggest problem is to take one step at a time. I want to open a webshop, selling at the moment christmas ornaments. I want to start a youtube channel and I want to write books. and it doesnt help that my tech skills are basement level. but this video is great because it makes you ask the fundemental questions. thanks
I am hoping to sell handmade Christmas decorations too! I find the whole process a lot to think about though and have made the mistake of setting up my Instagram page before anything else, because I thought it would spur me on, but I have yet to actually set up my shop and sell the stuff! 😅
@@awhwll2229 I have set up my steps. photographs. shopify shop and then instagram. the tecnical bits scare the crap out of me, but I SHALL overcome. you just have to keep moving and remember that there are a lot of christmas nuts out there. we just have to find them.
I was prepared to do a lot of detailed planning before opening my shop, but I can’t believe I didn’t consider these questions from the perspective you presented them. Thank you so much Deborah. I have answered this questions and they have seriously changed how I’m approaching my business now.
Great video! Thank you so much! These tips differ from what most people tell you on the internet... It's been so important to me to focus on my ideas rather than copying other people's shops but there are not many people out there who actually encourage you to do so! So thank you for this very valuable content! Maria
Just recently started my Business and watching your videos has really helped me build the confidence I needed to fully commit to it, Thank you Deborah!
I hadn't thought about calculating my days off in the money I want to make, that's a good one to think about! 😅 Also, it would be really helpfull if you could do videos about how to organize a business with different strategies, like the difference between selling one of a kind products and made to order for example.. I just don't really know which one to choose and how to organize that.. of to combine both ..
Can you open an Etsy shop with multiple of products in it? Or do you have to scale down in order to be successful? I’m struggling with this because I am very creative and have clay and resin items, digital items, clothing items, the list goes on but I’m not sure if all of them could be in one shop. Thank you so much for this video though…new subbie here, going to be binging your videos this weekend
