My oldest daughter was in band starting in 5th grade, as a family we went to concerts, festivals, and football games. I will admit I find football boring, but the band was always fantastic. Standing in the tunnel was the hi-light of every home game.
I think every grade thinks that about the band after they leave. I thought the same thing after I graduated in '97....oh the shows will never be as good, the marching style went to pot....look at their lines for heavens sake!! Haha. Oh well...I guess every group is proud of what they've done regardless of our sentimental opinions about how great we were back in "the day".
