Reading the lyrics to this song after reading mizu5 and everything makes so much more sense it really hits different

god i love this song so much especially the lines in 2:23 and the vocals that follow after, ena’s “bokura dake ga” in 3:10 and honestly all of it until the very last moment. it feels like desperately trying to connect with other humans though its impossible. perhaps judging by their outfits theyre all hermits who have lost sense of being with other people, ones who have been through things and since then they’ve isolated themselves as a punishment. but now they want to fight their loneliness and maybe connect with each other since they have the same issue. though thats merely my interpretation
I've read that it draws the meaning of the tarot card The Hermit, so, while the 4 are represented by the card, as seen in the video, Kanade and Ena are upright Hermit, which means soul-searching, searching answers within yourself, and self isolation, as a way to look for those answers, while Mafuyu and Mizuki are the reversed Hermit (Mizuki's card literally called that).

it's interesting that mizuki is the only one that has one broken horn.
not sure what it means since she's quite closed-off emotionally, but it could imply some tough past?
horns also symbolize strength and salvation, so perhaps she's close to reaching her limit?
just some lil' ideas I thought of.
Assuming that Mizuki is transgender, or X-gender, the horns she has are supposed to mimic the Y chromosome.
The gene that determines gender is XX, which makes you female, but XY if you are male. The heart is female but actually "lacks". I think it represents her as such.

Its not canon that Mizuki uses they/them, it’s just a head-canon. People can use whatever pronouns they want on Mizuki because Mizuki’s gender isn’t revealed

I find it interesting how both Mizuki and Kanade's card titles are named after tarot cards. Mizuki's being the hermit and Kanade's being the hanged man. The hermit is associated with finding the answers within yourself as a period of inner reflection. The hanged man is often associated with sacrifice or with the fact you're unhappy with the situation you are in. The two together, hermit and hanged man, symbolize that you are punishing yourself with needless guilt over a situation that "others have long ago left". I think the combination could be a reference to both character's inner problems but I could be wrong.
I'm not familiar with tarot cards so please correct me if I'm wrong!
To be specific, Mizuki is the reversed hermit (basically the hermit card but upside down) which means solitude in a negative way, like loneliness

I just noticed that one of Mizuki's horns is broken. I wonder what the significance of that is
It means that Mizuki is actually a transfem person, only Ena, Kanade, Mafuyu and Meiko have female chromosome horns while mizuki have one broken horn which means their pronouns is a they/them, and if you seen their past self, they had very short hair and their chest is flat.
its such a good detail because everyones elses horns are faced down(except meikos] but also curved but for mizuki theirs is pointed up and broken which represents male rams/Goats That fight each other leading to Broken horns
