Yes, it is ok for other folks to have a difference of opinion, of course expressing that with love and respect. My only issue is that if your difference of opinion is harmful to me and my family, then I consider you a threat. Not everyone's opinions have a good intention behind them. If more Christian folks thought how you explained it, I believe the church would be much farther along. There is such a division amongst Christians and it's really sad.
We as Christian's have to remember that Jesus reminded us that if the world hate you, remember it hated me first. He told us to pick up our cross and follow him, living for Jesus is not going to be easy in these last days but thank God we don't have to do it alone, Christian's United is the plan of God.

I had one former coworker friend posting and repeating racist things, fake propaganda news and statements about topics with no evidence on FB and sending it directly to me. I attempted to educate her on truth based on my 62 year Black experiences and history since I taught it for 26 years. I handled her with love and I’ve been raised in diverse relationships environments my whole life. She was closed minded and insensitive to others so I just unfriended her for my own peace and sanity. I see racists in most ethnicities. So many times I have been a victim of black racists...I just have to remember not all blacks are racists and give everyone a chance...Then I meet some hold outs that are white racists and I am shocked. I went through a time where I was struggling with reconciling the turmoil that was going on in our country and I prayed very earnestly for understanding. God is faithful! He opened up my eyes to his intentions in terms of leadership and in so many ways showed me the deception that is going on. Ultimately the ONLY banner that should ever matter is that of the kingdom of God. If you lift Jesus up, he will draw all men unto him. And if we are all under that banner there shouldn't be a reason for conflict because all we should be concerned about is giving glory to God.

I am so glad you posted this video! I think it's one of the most important videos you have done. Having done a lot of research on slavery and racism in the United States (and having a mixed extended family) I became despondent when Trump was elected and so much racism roared into public view. Seeing so many Christians defending Trump's actions that go against the basic core of Judeo-Christian tenets rocked me to my soul. I believe that a lack of education in public schools surrounding civic duty and the need to participate in democracy has led this nation to an existential crisis. The deep problems we face are related to how government has been co-opted by Wall Street and the finance industry to the point that government is now a servant of the rich and powerful. We need tax reform that ensures that the richest individuals and corporations pay their fair share of taxes. We need political races to be subsidized not by special interests but by the government. People need to be aware of how much the wealthiest in our nation are starving the rest of us in terms of good jobs, decent health care and infrastructure repair and maintenance. Most people don't realize how many jobs have been lost because corporations feel it's their duty is to please shareholders and line their own pockets. They pick businesses to the bone and just leave carcasses. People need to stop HATING and educate themselves on the current state of governing bodies and how unethical and morally corrupt corporations are turning this into a third-world nation. The information is available in our public libraries FOR free. Ignorant, angry and struggling masses make for the kind of recipe that brought Hitler to power. Information is power. Don't just listen to Fox News or one news channel. Read books by experts in their respective fields. Democracy takes work. Let's get to work....

2020 says it all by itself. When the Dr uses his equipment during the exam, it so he can see everything even if we're hiding it from everyone else. I told them at work today believe it or not. We had a heated discussion about all that's going on, but one of my fellow workers asked me why I was just shaking my head at them. I used that metaphor about the Dr and some got were I was going but the ones who walk around saying they doing this for the Lord and giving this to church, not saying your not I am just saying take the Dr out the meaning and put God doing the looking, do you think he would want you to talk to me or anyone else the way just did. All they did was say if I went back home all of these illness would be right back were they belong. So stay strong, stay on the platform and mostly be the servants that you guys are. As a Christian, I have family members, loved ones and friends that range across the political spectrum and I love them ALL dearly. When my family members, loved ones and friends get together and have fellowship, we DON'T talk politics. I can't remember one family reunion, barbeque, party, Resurrection Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Labor Day, Birthday party, Christening, family dinner/lunch/brunch etc where we talk politics. If I am visiting with a family member, loved one or friend who has a similar point of view when it comes to politics and they bring it up then we have a chat amongst ourselves. I think it is unhealthy to fight, argue and be upset with those you love over politics; it just isn't worth it. Family members, loved ones and friends shouldn't argue with each other on social media; that is just inappropriate. It takes two to argue and it is best to just walk away from fighting with loved ones on social media. Christians should never let politics consume their lives to the point where they are estranged from those that they love. There are so many things to talk about like 'THE WORD OF GOD' or 'Spreading the Gospel', 'your favorite new gospel album', 'updates on the kids' or even 'updates on family' or 'sports' or 'planning a very short Coronavirus safe trip to maybe see loved ones for a little while on the holidays' or 'what to cook for the holidays.'
People should talk about these things a the dinner table.. Idk why people dont discuss it more openly. letting go of the taboo of speaking about politics is what will bring us all a better future as people

Love this! Like you said this year has been challenging for everyone. For me it has definitely been an eye opening year. It’s so easy to snap on someone because their views are different from our own and you want to make them see your side, but that’s not what God calls us to do. It’s a work in progress. You can still fight for what’s right and show God’s love in your fight. I pray that we as Christians can come together and still fight for equality and justice while also spreading the love of Jesus.

Unfortunately ppl who say they follow God have taken on a lot of the world/culture's view and stance because they feel validated emotionally or otherwise to do so. I want to challenge every believer to really search scripture and pray for God's truth. God's ways and His thoughts and His plan is above our human understanding. It's only when we seek Him with and in everything that we begin to transcend our carnal thinking. We may not always get it right but if we constantly pursue Him He will show us when we go off path. (When majority of the world is saying one thing that's almost always the opposite of what God is saying especially when the world isn't influenced by God.)

I went through a time where I was struggling with reconciling the turmoil that was going on in our country and I prayed very earnestly for understanding. God is faithful! He opened up my eyes to his intentions in terms of leadership and in so many ways showed me the deception that is going on. Ultimately the ONLY banner that should ever matter is that of the kingdom of God. If you lift Jesus up, he will draw all men unto him. And if we are all under that banner there shouldn't be a reason for conflict because all we should be concerned about is giving glory to God.

I am so glad you posted this video! I think it's one of the most important videos you have done. Having done a lot of research on slavery and racism in the United States (and having a mixed extended family) I became despondent when Trump was elected and so much racism roared into public view. Seeing so many Christians defending Trump's actions that go against the basic core of Judeo-Christian tenets rocked me to my soul. I believe that a lack of education in public schools surrounding civic duty and the need to participate in democracy has led this nation to an existential crisis. The deep problems we face are related to how government has been co-opted by Wall Street and the finance industry to the point that government is now a servant of the rich and powerful. We need tax reform that ensures that the richest individuals and corporations pay their fair share of taxes. We need political races to be subsidized not by special interests but by the government. People need to be aware of how much the wealthiest in our nation are starving the rest of us in terms of good jobs, decent health care and infrastructure repair and maintenance. Most people don't realize how many jobs have been lost because corporations feel it's their duty is to please shareholders and line their own pockets. They pick businesses to the bone and just leave carcasses. People need to stop HATING and educate themselves on the current state of governing bodies and how unethical and morally corrupt corporations are turning this into a third-world nation. The information is available in our public libraries FOR free. Ignorant, angry and struggling masses make for the kind of recipe that brought Hitler to power. Information is power. Don't just listen to Fox News or one news channel. Read books by experts in their respective fields. Democracy takes work. Let's get to work....

2020 says it all by itself. When the Dr uses his equipment during the exam, it so he can see everything even if we're hiding it from everyone else. I told them at work today believe it or not. We had a heated discussion about all that's going on, but one of my fellow workers asked me why I was just shaking my head at them. I used that metaphor about the Dr and some got were I was going but the ones who walk around saying they doing this for the Lord and giving this to church, not saying your not I am just saying take the Dr out the meaning and put God doing the looking, do you think he would want you to talk to me or anyone else the way just did. All they did was say if I went back home all of these illness would be right back were they belong. So stay strong, stay on the platform and mostly be the servants that you guys are. I've been struggling with the fact that there's a huge LACK of balance, lack of compassion, and lack of understanding regarding these topics with Christians. People are either far left or far right, and there's a ton of hypocrisy/bias. It's truly disheartening.

As a Christian, I have family members, loved ones and friends that range across the political spectrum and I love them ALL dearly. When my family members, loved ones and friends get together and have fellowship, we DON'T talk politics. I can't remember one family reunion, barbeque, party, Resurrection Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Labor Day, Birthday party, Christening, family dinner/lunch/brunch etc where we talk politics. If I am visiting with a family member, loved one or friend who has a similar point of view when it comes to politics and they bring it up then we have a chat amongst ourselves. I think it is unhealthy to fight, argue and be upset with those you love over politics; it just isn't worth it. Family members, loved ones and friends shouldn't argue with each other on social media; that is just inappropriate. It takes two to argue and it is best to just walk away from fighting with loved ones on social media. Christians should never let politics consume their lives to the point where they are estranged from those that they love. There are so many things to talk about like 'THE WORD OF GOD' or 'Spreading the Gospel', 'your favorite new gospel album', 'updates on the kids' or even 'updates on family' or 'sports' or 'planning a very short Coronavirus safe trip to maybe see loved ones for a little while on the holidays' or 'what to cook for the holidays.'
People should talk about these things a the dinner table.. Idk why people dont discuss it more openly. letting go of the taboo of speaking about politics is what will bring us all a better future as people

Love this! Like you said this year has been challenging for everyone. For me it has definitely been an eye opening year. It’s so easy to snap on someone because their views are different from our own and you want to make them see your side, but that’s not what God calls us to do. It’s a work in progress. You can still fight for what’s right and show God’s love in your fight. I pray that we as Christians can come together and still fight for equality and justice while also spreading the love of Jesus.

Unfortunately ppl who say they follow God have taken on a lot of the world/culture's view and stance because they feel validated emotionally or otherwise to do so. I want to challenge every believer to really search scripture and pray for God's truth. God's ways and His thoughts and His plan is above our human understanding. It's only when we seek Him with and in everything that we begin to transcend our carnal thinking. We may not always get it right but if we constantly pursue Him He will show us when we go off path. (When majority of the world is saying one thing that's almost always the opposite of what God is saying especially when the world isn't influenced by God.)

What you're speaking on is sin. Man, the human race are sinners. We fight against spiritual warfare. This is why we must remain in the word, pray and yes have love for people, it doesn't mean you love their actions. Also, we can't judge people, this is up to God. We can witness to people, we can't accept Christ for them, it's the holy spirit that draws and the person accepting Christ. Politics is of the world, while we are in the world we should not be of it. Yes, we should follow the laws of the land, pay your taxes!! Our faith is in God because tomorrow is not promised to us. Discernment is needed. The truth will set you free. The racial tensions in this country are deep and this country has not asked for forgiveness for building this country on the back of African slaves this is also deeply imbedded it's laws, let's not get anything twisted. America can't hide it's truth, it's history.
